Tryouts have started for the Galactic Grappling Gals. Right now women are arriving on Earth in Indianapolis where the fed will be centered. Regular match cards will be held in Conseco Fieldhouse and some other state venues. PPVs will be held in Lucas Oil Stadium.
Here are the first matches.
Lady Power uses Feel the Power to defeat Dark Raven.
Dark Raven mounts very little offense. Lady Power sets up the finisher by throwing Dark Raven into the turnbuckle and then hitting her with a huge clothesline.
China Lace uses the China Syndrome to put away She Devil. China Lace used two straight knee drops to Devil's shoulder joint, a Chinese Grapevine and the finisher. She Devil doesn't do much damage.
Malvolence makes quick work of Florida's Pride Nina Prentice. Malvolence's attack included inappropriate groping of Prentice's assets, the Slingshot Teabagger and the Defile Driver finisher.
Leah Jane survives one Decimation, but not the second by Gortha Zaldoran. The finish was set up by a Double Underhook Stalled Suplex.
Strike gets a DQ for using her finisher, Break a Leg, which involved using a Rock Bottom to Maniac Maria Helms off the ring apron and through the announce table.
In the night's longest and most grueling match, Mona Mammeries uses Thanks for the Mammeries to defeat Gypsy Rose. Gypsy Rose controlled most of the match but when she tried a crossbody block off the top turnbuckle, Mona rolled through and caught her with a finisher.
In the night's only tag team match and the finale on the card, Lillyann and Miss Babcock defeated Spellbinder and Suzy Succubus. Spellbinder threw Lillyann out of the ring and then into the barrier outside. When she refused to halt the attack the ref called for the bell.
Good fun. I have a lot of the women from the Yahoo Groups thread to download and print and try out before deciding on a base cast of characters for the GGG. I would also welcome any female characters anyone has created that I might not have seen yet. I would like to have artwork or a photo with any suggestions.
