Mornin brother TTX! Awesome pair of GWF nights here: Night 1: -------------------------- Really enjoyed Castilex taking down The Chameleon Creatures that must have been some match to experience. Two serious teams there. The Basilisk is so all over the place right? I'm becoming a bigger and bigger fan of him - like a psychotic Hulk or something. Always love when The Count defeats people with their own finisher (Sinful too). The Silver Shadow rules - but at least Demon Godsend gave him a run for his money just to make it interesting. Bummer HelSin lost the IP title. But it sounds like Fist struck quickly. Night 2: ------------------------ That Nowhere To Run / Martial Law bout must have awesome to experience live. I think the pairing of Wolf and Kill Prey is beyond cool. Got a kick out of Monoliths victory over Totalis - sounded like he went nuclear on a fly that was aggravating him. Too bad Akuma couldn't upset The Overmaster. Although his powder offense did upset AOM it sounds like lol. Spec continues his reign as champ via comeback style and flying dropkicked his way into a longer title reign. Jammin stuff my friend as always!

Thanks for all the reviews Bri Basilisk and Hulk is a good comparison. Monolith is funny like that.....thrashes some guys and then chokes against others. Fist just had it all going in that match.

Impossible Tournament top two advance per bracket
Sentinel bested Akuma with Nightwatch. Akuma dominated most of the match but he could not put Sentinel away. Sentinel came back with Alarm Bells and then locked in Nightwatch for the submission.
Aethran OverMaster squashed Overtime with Dominance. This was pretty much all OverMaster after he overpowered Overtime and kept hitting Dominance repeatedly occassionally jumping off off the top on to Overtime's back before one final Dominance finished things off.
Overtime survived a battering from Akuma to win with a Titan Drop on the ring apron. Sentinel dominated most of the match but finally Overtime countered a superplex and then a few Targeting spears before using a Titan Drop on the ring apron and then covered him for the victory.
Aethran OverMaster pinned Akuma after Reign of the OverMaster. Akuma looked like he might have pulled an upset but OverMaster escaped to the floor and then hit Reign of the OverMaster to win.
Overtime edged Akuma with the Gravity Bomb. This was another heartbreaking loss for Akuma as it looked like he had it but a missed deathjump allowed a Targeting Spear and then Gravity Bomb for the three count.
Aethran OverMaster completed a clean sweep with Dominance on Sentinel. This was basically all OverMaster as Sentinel would get a brief hope spot only for OverMaster to gain control again and finally Dominance ended things.
Aethran OverMaster 3-0 6 points Overtime 2-1 4 points Sentinel 1-2 2 points Akuma 0-3 0 points Aethran OverMaster and Overtime advance to the finals.

It was a shame, he could easily have gone 3-0.

Faller bested Wolf by disqualification when Wolf was disqualified for smashing Faller into the ringside table. Wolf had dominated most of the match but Faller made a comeback. Faller even bravely tossed Wolf to the floor and went after him. Wolf suddenly snapped and smashed Faller into the table. He then seemed to be looking for blood when a blue skinned woman appeared and started to sing softly. Wolf suddenly calmed, grabbed the mic and apologized to Faller and to the crowd for what he had done.
Shayne crushed Demon Godsend with Eye 4 Eye. Demon Godsend had his moment but a lariat by Shayne off the turnbuckle was the turning point. Shayne then dominated the match nearly winning via countout before using Eye to win things.
Wolf narrowly avoided disqualification twice to defeat Demon Godsend with the Savage Face Claw. This was a war and both wrestlers had chances to win. In the end, Wolf staved his temper just enough to lock in the Face Claw. Demon Godsend fell to the mat and the referee counted his shoulders down.
Shayne squashed Faller with Showdown. Faller gave it a good run but Shayne rolled to the floor and caught Faller's leg against the ringpost. From there he quickly used Showdown and Faller was unable to kick out in time as the referee hit three just a moment before Faller lifted his shoulder.
Faller upset Demon Godsend with Down To Size. It took a Lord Nexus distraction after Cover of Darkness when Lady Godsend had helped Demon. From there, Faller hit a piledriver and then clamped on Down to Size which put away the Demon.
Wolf stunned Shayne with Leader of the Pack. No one was more surprised than Shayne here as Wolf had to win this match to advance. Wolf hit a quick Wolf Skullcrusher and made a cover and then Leader of the Pack for the same and an overconfident Shayne did not raise his shoulder in time and fell victim to a pin.
Wolf 2-1 4 points Shayne 2-1 4 points Faller 2-1 3 points Demon Godsend 0-3 0 points Faller was just denied his chance here.

Kenji bested Disciple of Terror with the Samurai Sword. Terror gave it a go but Kenji just overwhelmed him with his offense. Kenji kept diving off the top rope before finally using the Sword to finish things off. Saber shook his head at ringside.
Saber handled Climber with the Sonic Wave. He probably did not need to use his weapon but it didn't stop Saber from doing so. Climber looked good early but eventually Saber just took control and all Climber could do was try and be defensive until he finally fell.
Saber crushed Disciple of Terror with Sonic Wave. Saber ordered Disciple to lay down and allow him to take the pin but Terror refused. Saber then said so be it and went to town on the Cygnusian. Terror just could not get in a lick of offense before falling to the Sonic Wave. After the match, Saber took the mic and told Terror he no longer had a place on the team and was banished to the FTR.
Kenji pinned Climber after a roundhouse kick when Climber attempted a deathjump. These two proved to be a close match and Climber surprised Kenji on the floor before deciding to go for it all with a dive off the top rope. Kenji however was not that hurt and he countered with a perfect kick and the cover for the three count. After the match, both competitors shook hands.
Climber put away Disciple of Terror with the Dirtbag Dive. Terror was angry and attacked Climber early but eventually Climber took control. Climber dominated for a while but Terror finally reversed him only to miss his own move. From there it was just Climber until a Dirtbag Dive finished things off. After the match, Saber, Tharkas and Psi attacked DoT until they grabbed him and shoved him in a rocket named Sonny and blasted him off.
Kenji pinned Saber after a Titan Drop from Lord Nexus after Saber used the Sonic Wave. Somehow the referee just missed this as an irate Lord Nexus jumped in the ring after the use of the illegal weapon allowing Kenji to score the victory. Saber was furious at the result.
Kenji 3-0 6 points Saber 2-1 4 points Climber 1-2 2 points Disciple of Terror 0-3 0 points banished to FTR.

Probation surprised HelSin with Unchained (+3). HelSin dominated nearly the entire match but Probation made a comeback on the floor. Probation then used his armband to set up a Guillotine Drop and from there Unchained. HelSin nearly kicked out but was just a bit too slow.
Godsend bested Burning Man by disqualification when The Liberators suddenly jumped in the ring and battered Godsend down. This went back and forth and Burning Man nearly pulled the upset but Godsend finally hit Kingdom Come when suddenly Exo-King, Death Knight and even Ygorr attacked Godsend. The referee called for the bell but Godsend was hurt. How will that affect him in the rest of the battles?
Probation quickly attacked an injured Godsend and finished him off immediately with No Surrender. Godsend could barely stand and Probation easily took advantage for the win while Exo-King taunted Godsend.
Burning Man hung around for a while but in the end, HelSin put him away with a Crucifix Drop. HelSin just battered Burning Man down but could never apply his finisher. Eventually though he hit his Drop and Man just could not kick out. (Burning Man had 8 pin tokens)
HelSin bested Godsend when Godsend collapsed after delivering an Immaculate Enzuigiri. It seemed the attack from earlier and a long battle against HelSin was too much as Godsend hit the move but could not recover and HelSin dropped an arm on top to get the three count.
Burning Man upset Probation with Exhaustion after applying Toxic Inhalation. Probation was still choking on the fumes when Burning Man rolled him up for the three count.
Probation 2-1 4 points HelSin 2-1 4 points Burning Man 1-2 2 points Godsend 1-2 1 point

Always nice to see some Kenji love.
Basilisk stunned Sly Drury in a short match with Gaze of Stone. This was a surprise as Sly simply underestimated his opponent and fell to a quick Serpent Smash and then Gaze of Stone.
Epoch edged Exo-King with The Dark Age. This was quite the battle and it looked like King might take it but Epoch would not stay down easily. Finally Epoch hit a splash from the top rope and then The Dark Age to take the victory.
In a tight match, Sly Drury defeated Exo-King with Regime Change. Neither wrestler could claim to have dominated the match as they kept it close for a while. Drury had the advantage early but King made a nice comeback. For a while, it looked like King might take it but after an early Death Vise, he could never clamp it on again. Finally Sly caught him with I Run This Fed! followed by two The End is Near before making it true with Regime Change.
In a very boring match, Epoch quickly defeated Basilisk by disqualification when they quickly fell out of the ring after a Merciless Assault and the referee decided it was Basilisk's fault for the brawl. He disqualified him making Epoch the winner.
Basilisk defeated Exo-King with a choke and slam. King gave it a really good show but Basilisk's offense was just too much in the end. Basilisk survived a whip into the buckle with a knee smash followed by a massive tackle and then choked out King before slamming him down for the three count.
Epoch and Sly Drury agreed to a Torture Chamber match Epoch used a Pavo Powerbomb to pin Sly Drury. Epoch used a backbreaker rack to defeat Sly Drury. Despite never hitting a finisher, Epoch pulled off the big win.
Epoch 3-0 5 points Basilisk 2-1 4 points Sly Drury 1-2 2 points Exo-King 0-3 0 points
