I have another meeting to attend with their executives tonight. Since you are their representative here in aCe I'm leaving you in charge of tonight's show. I must take my leave now."----- GODSEND def OMNI** 1/4----- ESPERANTO & SCORCH def SYCOPHANT & MASTER***Esperanto returns from injury. The two Regulators use Hustler & Scorch's old tag finisher, SPECIAL FORCES, to defeat S & M. Scorch grabs a mic after the match. Scorch "Hey Esperanto. These fans want to know where Hustler is."Esperanto "You know what Scorch. These fans aren't the only ones. I want to know too and I want to know just what the flip is going on here."Scorch "Well, I'm not 100% for sure......BUT, I got a pretty damn good idea. In fact, I say let's go pay him a visit right now!"Scorch drops the mic and the two leave, presumably to where ever Scorch thinks Hustler is located. ----- Amazing Mann finds Nemean backstage. Amazing Mann "Nemean, I have to say I'm very impressed with you. A former Holovision Champion, host of the highly rated Nemean Show, superb talent....the fans love you. You're a star. Or at least I think you can be a star. Your only problem is that you've been held back. The commissioner doesn't see what I see in you and you've been relegated to only mid card matches. You need to be fighting the best. It's time to take it to the next level. So tonight I'm putting you against Avarice. He's one of, if not the best talent here in aCe...after me of course. Win, lose, or draw if the fans see you fighting the best, they'll think you're one of the best."Nemean "You know something Amazing Mann.....you're a class act. In fact, why is Peacemaker even still commissioner? You're only filling in for him tonight and you're already doing a better job than he could ever dream of."----- PAGANAX def ODYSSEY** 1/2Paganax had little troubles in defeating Odyssey. A PAGAN VOID ended the carnage. ----- Lance At Las walks up to Pendragon backstage. Pendragon "Lance. How you doing?."Lance At Las "Great. The doctors say I'll be ready to step in the ring as soon as next week. Which brings me to what I wanted to talk to you about. I know Witchdoctor has done something to Aspin. That's not the real Aspin we see out there. I don't know if he drugged him or something like that, but the real Aspin is nothing but a good guy and would never join the likes of the Prophecy."Pendragon "You don't have to convince me Lance. I was thinking the same. What do you suggest?."Lance At Las "I'm not real sure yet. I was hoping you would be willing to start teaming up with me though until we do figure it out."Pendragon "You got it. How about you and me take them on in a tag team match next week?"----- [glow=beige,2,300] TABLES MATCH[/glow] PRIMEVAL DESTRUCTION def BROS. OAKEN*** 1/2Tables are broken, heads busted, and blood soaked the mat. An EXTINCTION LEVEL EVENT brought the demise of the Bros. Oaken in a wild brawl. (Rorus inj. 1 card) ----- Nes Kincade enters the ring and then Shepard's music plays. Once again this week, no Shepard. Upon order of Peacemaker, Shepard is now suspended. Will have to wait on the commissioner's return next week though to find out more on this situation. Nemean's music plays! Out comes Nemean, he's headed to the ring. An interviewer tries getting a quick word. Interviewer "Nemean! You're already in a match with Avarice tonight! What are you thinking coming out here to replace Shepard and wrestling Nes Kincade? Are you crazy?."Nemean "Crazy? Crazy! You know what I'm crazy about? I'm crazy about these fans! I'm crazy about MY people! These guys want a great show, in fact they demand a great show each and every time we hold an event. And let me tell you something. There's a guy out there named Shepard who doesn't believe they deserve it, a guy that thinks he can no show on these people, MY people, week after week, a guy that thinks there is something more important than coming out here and entertaining MY people. Well that's BULLSHIT! The fans pay their hard earned money to see the best! And that's what I'm going to give them....and they know it! If that means coming out here and taking on this scumbag Nes Kincade and then turning right around and facing that wacko Avarice. Then so be it!"The fans are going crazy over Nemean's promo. Nemean slides into the ring and it's on! NES KINCADE def NEMEAN*** 3/4Nes Kincade avenges his loss to Nemean last week with a win over the golden tongued one after a big MTFO(+5). It was no easy task though as Nemen fought his heart out. Avarice's music hits. This looks like trouble for Nemean, as his scheduled match with Avarice is going down right now. AVARICE def NEMEAN** 1/2 The fans are rallying behind Nemean, trying to get him to his feet as Avarice walks down the ramp toward him. Avarice enters and begins taunting Nemean. Nes Kincade has remained at ringside. Nemean uses every ounce of his strength to hit a sudden HUNGER STRIKE and the match is on! Nemean gives it his all but he is just drained already wrestling once. Avarice hits a 7th SIN but Nemean kicks out at 2 and 3/4. The fans are going nuts! Avarice ends their hopes though after locking in Nemean with the Blackheart Lock in the center of the ring. Nemean is shaking his head no. He's not going to tap. He reaches to the ropes, but he's just to far, and then he just collapses. The ref calls for the bell as Nemean passes out to the pain. Avarice wins and leaves with Nes Kincade mocking the fans, but the one thing he can't say is that he made Nemean tap out. Nemean recovers and rises to his feet with the help of the ref. The fans are on their feet and the arena has just became a mad house. It's a standing ovation for Nemean who limps to the back with the ref's help. ----- Backstage we see Amazing Mann in his office watching the ending of the last match. Amazing Mann smiles big and then Totalis enters. Totalis "You wanted to see me.....Champ."Amazing Mann "Totalis, you're a great wrestler. There's a reason you're the Holovision Champion. I have a great deal of respect for you believe it or not. The two of us have put on 5 star matches every time we've stepped in that ring together. Tonight, I'm filling in as commissioner and I still need a main event. I need a huge main event actually and there's only one match that fits the bill. You and me, Champion vs. Champion, the two greatest wrestlers in this fed, one on one."Totalis "You know, I don't really care whether or not these fans get a HUGE main event. I do agree with you though that we are the two best wrestlers in this fed. We are both 5 star wrestlers and we are both the champions around here. And although I don't respect these fans.....I do respect you as well. So if you want to go one on one with me once again tonight.....then Champ, you got it."Amazing Mann and Totalis stare down as the cameras switch to ringside. ----- [glow=beige,2,300] TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
CENTRA DEATH MATCH[/glow] WITCHDOCTOR & ASPIN NORTHSTAR def (C) ARCHANGELS*** 1/2 Aspin started things off for Prophecy and the first ten minutes or so were nothing but the Archangels taking turns kicking his ass. They threw everything at him but never could quite get the three count. Aspin finally managed to tag out and Witchdoctor came in fresh and went right to work. Alost immediately he used DEATH'S SPECTRUM on both Archangels leading to the pinfall on Gabriel. NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS - WITCHDOCTOR & ASPIN NORTHSTAR----- The cameras switch to a scene away from the arena. It's Hustler! And Esperanto & Scorch have found him! IN THE CLUB----- [glow=beige,2,300] "CHAMPION vs. CHAMPION"
NON-TITLE MATCH[/glow] AMAZING MANN def TOTALIS **** The two champions put on a great match. Totalis shows a lot of offense, but Amazing Mann always seemed to come back. In the end, it was Amazing Mann locking Totalis in the UNBREAKABLE (+1) that ended the match and the show. |

Esperanto & Scorch, don't worry. To the rescue here I come!"It looks like Scud will even up the odds and make the match a 6 man tag team match. GODSEND, DARKSEED, & NIGHTMARE** 1/2The Regulators and Scud completely dominate Godsend, never even allowing him to tag out. Esperanto hits his DEAD MAN'S HAND to deal the final blow to Godsend. ----- The cameras go backstage to Peacemaker's office where Amazing Mann is also present. Peacemaker "Great job last week. I especially liked how you suckered Nemean into thinking he stood a chance against Avarice. The fool even filled in for Shepard against Nes Kincade. What the hell was he thinking wrestling like that?"Amazing Mann "Simple, he wants it Peacemaker. He made himself a star last week. He's the most over guy in the fed right now."Peacemaker "Yeah, but he's a loser. Trust me, his popularity is just a phase. He has no long term potential. What's up with you sticking up for him anyway?"Amazing Mann "He has the 'IT' factor. I think the Syndicate should sign him."Peacemaker "Puh-Lease! The Syndicate has you. You're the aCe champion. You need to just stay away from that loud mouth. You're acting real weird Mann. Just so I know that you're on OUR side, next week it's going to be Nemean vs. you. I trust that you'll put him in his place."Amazing Mann "OUR side. So just how did your meeting go with the Syndicate, huh?"Peacemaker "Don't cross me Mann. The results of my meetings with the Syndicate will be known real soon. News that benefits you more than anyone. Now if you could respectfully leave Mann, I have work to be done."----- Painmaster is in the ring. Painmaster "My fans!...(boos)...Don't act like you don't love me!...(more boos)...Playing hard to get huh? Well that will change tonight because right now I'm going to save you people from the evil Holovision Champion, Totalis. I''m going to become your people's champion! That's right, so Totalis I'm challenging you right now for that belt. After I beat you, these people will love me."Totalis enters. The fans are even cheering for him. Totalis "You know something Painmaster, even I'm tired of your act...(cheers)...To think you are going to be granted parole by faking your turn as a fan favorite is crazy enough.....but.....to think you could beat me....hell, they should transfer your ass to the insane asylum!... (cheers)"[glow=green,4,300] HOLOVISION CHAMPIONSHIP[/glow] (C) TOTALIS def PAINMASTER*** 3/4Totalis continued being cheered throughout the match as he punished the Painmaster. Painmaster almost sneaked in the pin on a couple of different occasions but the champion was able to retain in the end. ----- PAGANAX def UMAGAPOTAMUS*****These two men really delivered in what turned to out to be an excellent match. The big men traded heavy hitting offense back and forth. It looked like Umagapotamus was going to win it (Paganax's pin was up to 11), but Paganax pulled through in the end and even managed to lift Umagapotamus up for the PAGAN VOID. ----- ARCHANGELS def PRIMEVAL DESTRUCTION*Quite the shocker as the Archangels singled out Hybrid and put him away early in the match. Warfare never even entered the match. The Archangels went through all their finishers but it was Exodus' WRATH OF GOD that did Hybrid in. ----- Peacemaker makes his way to the ring so that he can address the audience. Peacemaker "Ladies and gentlemen. I declared that if Shepard no showed again last week then I would suspend him. It's been a busy week, but I did find time to visit the Ethereal Cathedral. Due to that visit I have an update to pass along concerning Shepard. Upon my arrival at the Cathedral, I was told that Shepard had locked himself in his office obsessed with research on a particular matter. However, that very morning of my visit, he had disappeared, leaving behind an alarming letter tacked to his desk."Peacemaker has the letter in his hands and begins to read it. WARNINGNemean's music plays as Peacemaker finishes reading. Nemean "Peacemaker, I know you weren't here last week so let me give you an update. Nobody cares about Shepard. So if you want to come out here and talk about something, how about talking about something that these people want to hear. Something like.... the Syndicate....you and the aCe governing branch....and a little word called.....Corruption!"Peacemaker "Wow, listen to Nemean, the conspiracy theorist. You couldn't be farther from the truth little man. But all that will be revealed soon enough so why don't you just worry about your opponent for tonight...Avarice. Oh and Nemean....one day that mouth of yours is going to get you in a lot of trouble."----- AVARICE def NEMEAN**** 1/2Avarice came down to ringside and Nemean went right on the attack. Nemean hit several of his big moves right off the back and even followed up with the SEASON FINALE. Avarice was able to kick out at two though and the match then went back and forth. Nemean almost had this one won, but Avarice caught him on the top rope and sent him off with a Power of Greed. After the match, Nes Kincade came walking to ringside. Avarice and Kincade began to stomp all over Nemean. Amazing Mann's runs to the ring and slides underneath the ropes. He gives Avarice and Nes Kincade a noggin knocker and the two New School members roll out of the ring. ----- [glow=green,4,300] NON-TITLE MATCH[/glow] PROPHECY def LANCE AT LAS & PENDRAGON*****It wasn't even about the titles tonight. This has been an emotional situation and tonight makes history as the first time Aspin Northstar and Lance At Las stood on opposite sides of the ring during an official match. Tons of action with the conclusion of the match seeing Aspin Northstar hit a FLASH OF BRILLIANCE (+6) on Lance At Las for the victory. Afterward Aspin stood over Lance as Pendragon was laid out outside of the ring. The WitchDoctor then entered the ring with a mic. WitchDoctor "Just as this prophecy has come to be, I now bring forth another prophecy for all of Centra.....THE DARK TIDES ARE COMING!"----- [glow=green,4,300] ACE CHAMPIONSHIP[/glow] (C) AMAZING MANN def NES KINCADE by DQ**** A killer main event with lots of intense action. Near the end of the contest Nes Kincade had taken over on offense and threw Amazing Mann outside of the ring. Avarice runs to ringside and hits the 7TH SIN on Amazing Mann outside of the ring. The ref dq'd Nes Kincade. Nemean then runs to the ring with a chair in hand and delivers a running chair shot on Avarice. Nes Kincade rolls out of the ring to come after Nemean, but Nemean nails him too. The show ends with Nemean and Amazing Mann inside the ring, Nemean holding the steel chair and Amazing Mann holding his aCe Championship. |

PAGANAX & PRIMEVAL DESTRUCTION***Godsend def Warfare after SPEAK OF THE DEVIL. Many fans were left wondering though just what Godsend whispered into Warfare's ears as the match ended. ----- PEACEMAKER def SCUD*Barely even a match, Peacemaker blindsided Scud from behind before the bell with a Blindside Bodybuster. Peacemaker followed up with a tree of woe and the pinfall. ----- [glow=teal,2,300]TORNADO TAG RULES[/glow]ESPERANTO & SCORCH def SYCOPHANT & MASTER*** 1/4A good old fashioned brawl. Scorch got the winning fall after a TRAILBLAZER on Painmaster. ----- [glow=teal,2,300]FOUR CORNERS MATCH[/glow]OMNI def ODYSSEY****These two men always seem to put on a good match against each other with tonight being no different. Omni was able to touch all four corners in succession after knocking Odyssey out with a CHRONOCHASM. ----- ARCHANGELS def BROS. OAKEN by DQ***The match ends in a DQ. Another match between these two teams is already in the works to determine a number one contender in the tag division. ----- [glow=teal,2,300]HOLOVISION CHAMPIONSHIP[/glow]NES KINCADE def (C) TOTALIS*Nes Kincade swept in, took the title, and left. Totalis had a disappointing defense here as Nes Kincade had little trouble in gaining the victory. A MTFO (+5) secured Kincade the title. NEW HOLOVISION CHAMPION - NES KINCADE ----- ASPIN NORTHSTAR def LANCE AT LAS*** 3/4Many never thought they would see it but it happened here at BETRAYAL. These two former best friends and mentor/student stepped into the ring to go one on one. Lance At Las was on fire, dominating the entire match up until the end. Aspin Northstar was able to come back and concluded the match with a FLASH OF BRILLIANCE (+5). One would have to assume that this situation though is far from over. ----- [glow=teal,2,300]ACE CHAMPIONSHIP[/glow](C) AMAZING MANN def NEMEAN***A match ordered by Peacemaker, these two, seemingly, new friends battled for the aCe Championship. The men showed their respect for each other during the match by not brawling on the outside and keeping things purely in the squared circle. Amazing Mann is declared the victor after an UNBREAKABLE (+1). Afterward, Avarice and the new Holovision Champion, Nes Kincade, stormed the ring and attacked both men. Avarice took Mann's title belt and the show ends with Avarice and Kincade lifting both championships in the air. |
