In The Zone 08 (2.4) Preview
With only one card to go until the PPV, things are really heating up.
The main event will be for the GWFZ Tag Championships in a match up made by commissioner Nexus, teaming the current GWFZ Champion, Sledgend with The Messenger to take on fellow Rocketmen The Undergrads.
Overtime gets his one on one shot against Revelation.
Strong vs G.Q. Stratus
Sly Drury vs Salvage
Tyrro vs Homage
Also an announcement by Commissioner Nexus that will rock the GWFZ!

In The Zone 08 (2.4)
In The Zone kicked off with a video package highlighting the destructive course The Divine Gathering has cut through the GWFZ culminating with last weeks action.
Kram, "We have a great show for you tonight fans."
Mot, "Thats right partner! The GWFZ Champion Sledgend teams with the enemy as he and The Messenger take on the GWFZ Tag Champions The Undergrads."
Kram, "We are also going to see Overtime take on Revelation."
Mot, "We are also going to hear from our Commissioner as he makes an announcement he claims will shake the foundation of the GWFZ."
Kram, "I can only begin to guess at what thats going to be."
Mot, "Now on to our first match of the evening."[/color]
Homage vs Tyrro
Tyrro handled Homage with ease and put him away with the BROTTA'S BOMB.
Mot, "Homage really under-performed in that match."
Kram, "When your in the ring with a man like Tyrro your bound to be intimidated."
Backstage in The Rocketmen locker room Johnny Rocket is with The Undergrads and Torn.
Rocket, "Where the Hell is Sledgend!"
Magnifico, "Leave it to him to go AWOL."
Sledgend enters and goes nose to nose with Magnifico, "I face all my challenges head on. I do not hide."
Pariah, "You don't think you have a chance against us do you? We actually gained some wins in the Tag Tournament."
Sledgend, "That only speaks of the weakness of your enemies. Not to your talent."
Rocket, "Guys... guys! We need to decide what is happening tonight."
Sledgend, "I'll tell you whats going to happen. I'm going to make someone Sledgendary!"[/color]
Sledgend storms out of the dressing room and leaves his team in shock.
Mot, "It looks like their is some tension on The Rocketmen and a touch of jealousy brewing."
Kram, "Its all because of Nexus and his interfering in an attempt to play games with the talent."[/color]
Salvage vs G.Q. Stratus
Salvage started out on offense and laid down a power game on Stratus, but Stratus was able to gain the upper-hand and after some Superstar Chops he got the PIN USING ROPES.
Kram, "A dominating win for G.Q. Stratus."
Mot, "Stratus definitely wanted to get it over quickly and suckered the young Salvage into a dirty win."
Kram, "In our business, a win is a win."
Mot, "That is true."
Sly Drury vs Strong
Strong was able to get a little bit of offense but it didn't do too much damage. Sly Drury on the other hand unloaded everything in his arsenal to take Strong of his feet and that was no easy feat. After countless twister slams and Backstabbers, it still took two consecutive CRIME LORDS to score the win.
Mot, "Incredible match! Strong took a tremendous beating before going down."
Kram, "Strong is a beast. With some guidance he could be a real threat, but Sly Drury was just better."
Mot, "I just got the message from the back that the next match will NOT be for the Steel Championship but will be a two out of three falls match."
Kram, "Not like the Commissioner to protect a member of The Divine Gathering. I wonder why they made that call?"
Revelation came out with Leviathan and had a smirk on his face as he carried the Steel Championship over his shoulder."
Overtime was clearly upset and marched straight to the ring and got in Revelations face. The slug-fest began as Leviathan exited the ring.
Overtime vs Revelation
Revelation stood no chance against the pissed off Titan and Overtime allowed Revelation to get no offense and hit THE CLINCHER. Leviathan tried to attack Overtime but the Titan ducked the big man's attack and dumped him to the floor before hitting a second CLINCHER to score the first pin of the match. It wasn't long before Overtime hit his finisher once again and pinned Revelation to go up 2-0 and sweeps the match.
Backstage Revelation limps into the dressing room with Leviathan. The rest of The Gathering are there as The Messenger was preparing for what was to come.
The Messenger, "I am about to bring the truth to light. I am no fool and I do not trust Sledgend or Nexus. I want you at the ready at the slightest sign of treachery."[/color]
The Divine Gathering nod their assent and The Messenger leaves with Nightmare Nikki.
The GWFZ Champions make their entrance along with Johnny Rocket and pose in the ring with the GWFZ Championships.
The Messenger comes out followed by Nikki and stops at the ring apron and pauses before climbing inside and posing with Nikki at his feet.
After a long pause Sledgend's music and video begin to play and the GWFZ Champion storms out to the ring. He jumps into the ring and gives The Messenger a long look before hoisting the title into the air for the crowd to see. The Messenger let his guard down for a second and that was all it took as he wasted blindsided by Magnifico and Pariah. The Undergrads kept him busy long enough for Sledgend to bust him wide open with the Championship belt. Nikki fled up the ramp and called for the troops as Johnny Rocket slid a table into the ring. A force cage was activated which kept the advancing Gathering from getting to their leader and The Messenger was hit with ANARCHY IN THE GWFZ, the SLAVE DRIVER, and then The Undergrads lifted The Messenger up and hit a devastating tag team move called DEAD MAN'S CURVE. Sledgend got down in The Messenger's face and showed him the GWFZ title before picking him up and driving him through the table with SHATTERING DEVASTATION.
Magnifico has a mic, "We just got back from the CWA Universal Tag Team Tournament and we are here to let you know we were robbed! We are the best team there is and it was a conspiracy tot turn the final match into a Battle Royal for the Championships. We are coming to the first ever CWA Joint PPV to prove a point. The Others and the King's Men stand no chance against us and to the champions. They had to pull your dead asses out of retirement by plucking you from the past to compete in the present. We are the future of this business and We Are Better! Divided We Fall...your supposed to be the 'New School'? Well I got news for you...We ARE The New School! No matter who wins between past and present, The Undergrads are going to be there to knock you off and take the CWA Universal Championships and prove to everyone that... We Are The Greatest There Is!"
Pariah grabs the mic, "And if you don't like it...We got TWO WORDS for ya!"
Pariah and Magnifico, "S*CK IT!"
The Undergrads hand the title to Sledgend, "SPIKE! You are supposed to be the greatest Gladiator of all time. A legend. Well I have news for you...I am more than a legend...I am SLEDGEND! Spike I dare you to step into the ring with me at the CWA PPV. Because when you do, I will make you SLEDGENDARY!"[/color]
The Rocketmen stand over the bloody and broken body of The Messenger as Commissioner Nexus' music began and he made his way out on stage.
Nexus, "Lower the cage. Reckoning grab your brother there will be no further violence here."[/color]
The Reckoning complies and pulls The Messenger from the ring. He is groggy but conscious so Nexus continues.
Nexus, "Now on to my announcement. At the upcoming PPV we are going to have a special match to determine the GWFZ Championship. I had a couple of qualifying matches earlier and now its time to announce the competitors for the GWFZ Championship. Sledgend you will be defending the title against G.Q. Stratus, Sly Drury, Overtime, Harm, and The Messenger in the ELIMINATION CHAMBER. This will be different than previous matches of this type and you have to be pinned twice to be eliminated making for an epic match and an undisputed GWFZ Champion."
Nexus looks right at the bloody Messenger and smiles, "Do...You...Get...The Message now Messenger. I run the GWFZ not you."[/color]
The Messenger lunges at Nexus but loses his footing and The Reckoning and Nikki help support him as the Commissioner exits and the show comes to a close.
