Brothers Oaken* def. Arcangels* with Coupe De Grace on Gabriel.
Another tough night for the angels.. as the Family Rose supporters really let Exodus have it with 'Boring' chants. He was actually bickering with a fan when the Oakens double teamed Gabriel and got the fairly easy victory

Lance At-Las*** def. Totalis* with the Mars Manhandler
Very good match... Totalis really showed something here, but got frustrated when Lance kicked out of the Final Round and totally lost the momentum

Ventross* def. Nightmare* with Mercy Killing
The Ravager continues to make a good case to be one of the two men to compete for the Essence Title with an impressive win

Primeval Destruction def. Shock Syndicate* when Holocaust tapped to the Warlock.
The Syndicate was still busy soaking up the oohhh and ahhhh after their entrance when Hybrid nailed Holocaust from behind. It wasn't long to the end from there... Flatliner never entered the ring.

Amazing Mann def. Scud with Unbreakable
Mann quickly disposed of Scud, then welcomed the crowd to the Unbreakable tour. He got a good response until he stated he was 'an even bigger signing than Avarice', which lead to a shower of boos. He promised a great show when he gets a change to defeat him before leaving with a flourish.

Avarice* def. Pendragon***** with 7th Sin.
The crowd hung on every more of this emotional charged first battle between former Rose family favorite Pendragon and the current family representative. Avarice's in ring experience told as the match wore on, and Pendragon, bleeding heavily from the Crown of Thorns, finally succumbed to 7th Sin. Avarice got a mic and called the rest of New School to the ring to 'explain to Pendragon what happened to traitors' and proceed to take turns decimating Pendragon's left knee, to the delight of the crowd, until Aspin Northstar lead the Six to clear the ring.

Pendragon requires surgery and will be out 7 weeks


Mr. Bloat/Sycophant***** def. Hustler/Scorch**** when Scorch tapped to Cruel and Unusual
Bloat let Sycophant get killed early, then came in when Hustler and Scorch had worn themselves down and cleaned house.

Aspin Northstar def. Nes Kincade by DQ when Kincade knocked the referee out.
Aspin looked understandably nervous when the rest of New School didn't return to the locker room, but Lance At-Las and Ventross quickly returned and chased them to the back. The distraction allowed Kincade to New Schoolboy Aspin, bu
t the referee stopped him. Kincade screamed 'Don't you know where you are?' and clocked him.. causing the DQ.

Scud may be Mr. Upset, but Mann is the Man. Would have been shocked had he pulled that one off.

Aspin seems to have a good streak going. hopefully he will have the same luck when I turn him loose in single competition.

I was hopin' for him to get a nice clean win, but the DQ works to more the rivalry forward too, so that was good.

Rumor has it Painmaster will me issuing a statement this evening... should be good. (If I can get the promo that's in my head out properly, anyway)

From his cell, Painmaster seems..... happy that he's been injured.
He looks like a man intoxicated. or possessed

When I came to this Dimension with the GWF, there was something in the air.. and aura of coming pain. Murdok had not yet started his Crusade, but the seeds were there, waiting to be sown. When the GWF left, and the Adversaries for Centra's Essence was created, those seeds where planted.

The four years of war that followed were a ripe harvest indeed. Blood, Pain, Death, Fire... these are the true nourishment of the soul, and Centra has gorged on them.

Now, the War is over.... 'Good' has won... and I (motions to his surroundings) am in this cage. 'Good' put me here. 'Good' has started 'All-Centra Entertainment'. Why? The people of Centra cannot give up the Blood... the Pain, the Death. So, we have 'conflict entertainment, where dangerous criminals are put on display, and beaten bloody by the 'Heroes'

It is truly a glorious time to be in Centra... the Pain, the Blood, is all around us... and 'Good' is the cause. This bountiful harvest of pain will be very, very sweet.

That is a really sweet promo. I love it. I've always liked Painmaster, now with his rich history from the GWF over to the aCe. He makes some valid points too!

Thanks, guys! I really liked the promo myself, but its tough (for me, anyway) to get it from the voices in my head to the screen.

Mr. Bloat def. Peacemaker**** by Countout
Peacemaker seemed totally unprepared for the savageness of Bloat, and never really fought back. Bloat was able to toss him outside then lay him out with a chair when the referee was screened.

Darkseed def. Nemean* by Countout
Nemean started out trying to interview Darkseed, but touched a nerve when he asked about Godsend... Darkseed seemed to swell in size as he delivered a huge choke slam. Nemean was taken aback and fled the ring area.

Avarice** def. Lance At-las** by 7th Sin
Excellent match.... Lance was in control early, but Avarice weathered the storm and once against used Crown of Thorns to good effect, bloodying his opponent and wearing him down to set up 7th Sin for the victory.

The Others*** def. Brothers Oaken** with Chronochasm on Donk.
Unlike the previous matches, this time it was Odyssey that carried the team... Omni was dominated by the Oakens, by was able to make the tag after Odyssey made the save from Coupe de Grace. He came in and ran circles around Donk to get the victory

Gabriel* def. Holocaust** after Holocaust missed a flying clothesline
Gabriel once again got into it with fans at ringside, but this time they seemed on his side as he awaited the massive light show that preceeded Holocaust. Good back and forth action here, with neither man ever really getting the upper hand. Gabriel capitalized on the first mistake of the match to get the win.

Shepard***** def. Nightmare**** with Exorcism
Definate Match of the Year candidate! Fantastic action back and forth, and several near falls. Shepard, exhausted, with the upper hand, staggered to the top to attempt to hit Exorcism (which he had missed earlier) when he seemed to get a surge of strength, and the eyes behind his mask shined for just a moment. When he landed on Nightmare, his elbow almost seemed to sink into the former demon's chest, and elicited a howl of pain as the referee counted the fall

Nightmare was unable to leave the ring under his own power (out 3 weeks)

Aspin Northstar***** def. Amazing Mann*** by DQ when the Brothers Oaken hit the ring.
This would have been the match of the night on any other night... great style battle between the high flying Aspin and the mat work of Mann. Both men attempted to no avail to hit their big move and end the match, but neither were successful. Mann was gathering himself after failing to lock in UNBREAKABLE when Aspin sprung to the top rope, seemingly poised for a FLASH of BRILLIANCE when the Brothers Oaken hit the ring and knocked him off the top rope. The referee called for the bell while Lance At-Las quickly hit the ring, but it turned out to be unnecessary since a furious Amazing Mann had already disposed of them.

Godsend def. Ventross* with Speak of the Devil
Ventross didn't bring his A-game here, and Godsend quickly took advantage

Paganax def. Exodus (Substituting for Pendragon) with Pagan Void
Complete squash by the Heathen Chief.. he seems a man on a mission

Totalis is in the press room, standing next to the Centra Cup

Totalis: It seems, at last, the desk jockeys that run this federation have seen fit to let their #1 new star have some time to get to know you, my fans. The Centra Cup is just a few short days away, and I looking forward to adding it to my collection of gold... This will be the first time I've won a tournament outside of my home dimension, so it will always have a special place in my heart. I... someone off camera angrily hisses something at the Tournament Master, who sighs heavily Right.. well, it seems someone thinks it relevant for you, my fans, to know who I'll be defeating on my way to victory, so here you are:

As you can see, I'll have an easy road to victory, and I'll be able to erase that fluke in my debut as well. That trash picking reject doesn't even deserve to be in this tournament, but, since he has to be here, I suppose it's fitting he face me, the clear favorite. I Totalis is interrupted by the producer again

Well, that is good news... what do you mean you already told me? Watch your tone, you insolent worm. The spineless zarf beetle in the back says that the aCe championship committee has determined that the winner of the Centra Cup will also be awarded the Holovision Title. It's always good to be effecient, winning two prizes in one tournament pleases me. Another shouted whisper

Yes, I'm getting to that... tune in next week for the Centra Cup, and see me receive my due.
