I find Primeval Destruction intriguing... there's a lot of place the Hybrid story can go, and Warfare having PTSD is kinda cool... I was happy to see them win.
Avarice is deceptively awesome... he card doesn't look like much compared to the others, but man, he just can't lose!

House Show Centrapolis Police Training Complex 1/18/2123
Scud*** def. Sycophant* by DQ Sycohphant was ruthless in this one, and waws in full control when he refused to break a choke to cause the DQ. After the match, two men in expensive business suits handed Scud a letter as he staggered to the back.
Hustler/Scorch def. Totalis/Witchdoctor with Special Forces on Witchdoctor The crowd went crazy for Scorch, but was interestingly mixed for Hustler. Totalis refused to start the match in the ring, which lead to the fans chanting "Mann is better" at him. He quickly lost his patience with the crowd and left the ring apron while Scorch and Hustler destroyed his 'partner'
Odyssey (w/ Omni) def. Hybrid (w/ Warfare) with a flying elbow drop Both the Others were enraptured as the tag champions held their essence belts aloft for all to see. It seemed Hybrid was reluctant to give his up to wrestle, and he started off the match a bit out of sync as a result. Odyssey took quick advantage and won easily.
Brothers Oaken*** def. Shock Syndicate** by DQ Rumor has it the New School is not very happy with the Syndicate team for their antics at the Centra Cup, and these too teams really tore into each other. Rorus was leveled with Shock and Awe, but Donk was able to make the save. That lead to a brawl between all four men.. Rorus pull the referee in front of him to take the brunt of a Shockwave, which lead to the DQ. The syndicate was not happy.
Peacemaker def. Darkseed* with Peacemaker's Oath Impressive rebound for Peacemaker after exiting the Centra Cup in the first round. Darkseed never really got anything going. Godsend was at the entrance ramp as Darkseed left, shaking his head at him as he stormed by after the loss.
Paganax def. Shepard*** with Pagan Void The Heathen chief made a good case for getting another shot at the champion with a dominating performance.
Non-Title Match Avarice* def. Aspin Northstar** with 7th Sin A very good, surprisingly clean match. Aspin gave it everything he had, but he was unable to overcome the champ.

Avarice - Mann will be epic.. Avarice has to deal with Aspin and Lance first though. Meanwhile, you'll see Mann has problems of his own Centra Cup Presentation Cermony: 1/20/2123 The Syndicate was out in full effect, with guys in Crash-Ex suits (looking alot like exaggerated Scuds) bouncing around the press room, and shooting t-shirts at the fans in attendance. Syndicate CEO Les Oberdown was at the podium with the huge trophy. Oberdown: Friends, welcome to Syndicate HQ, where we push toward Centra's bright future. I'm here today to present this Cup to a true legend of conflict entertainment, the highest paid celebrity in Centra, and my good friend, the Amazing Mann!!! Lights flash all over, drawing 'ooos' and 'aahhh' from the crowd. When the dust settles a large orb is next to the podium. The orb fades, to reveal Amazing Mann, chained in a tank of water. He squirms out of the chains and taps the glass, which shatters with a flash, and Mann takes a bow as he shakes Oberdown's hand and takes the podium Mann: Thanks, Les. I really appreciated the bonus, too... 100 credit chip burn so much more smoothly than 50s. draws a nervous chuckle from the crowd The Unbreakable tour is in full swing! I've got this (points to the Centra cup) and this (motions to the Holovid Belt around his waist) and it's only a matter of oppertunity until I take the Essence from that gloomy spoiled brat that has the title. My sources tell me I have to beat that second rate Kincade again this week, so you'll all get to delight in the squirms and the screams of the New School. At least he's more of a challenge than that Tournament freak, talk about obsessed... the lights go out for a moment, and there's a scuffle, followed by a hissing sound. When they come back on , Mann is on the ground, and Les Oberdown is screaming for security. Across the Centra Cup, in black, are two words.... NEW SCHOOL [/b]

Please, everyone knows that I was the better man in the Centra Cup tournament. Vanilla Mann can enjoy the tainted cup for now, but sooner or later the aCe officials will give me a well deserved shot at the Holovision title, and this time without a crooked referee.

Conflict Entertainment TV From Syndicate Studios 1/22/2123
Mr. Bloat def. Hustler** with Cruel and Unusual Bloat looked like an unstoppable force in this one. Hustler had no offense whatsoever. After the match, two guys in Blue Steel gear attacked Bloat, but prison security stopped them from doing any damage.
Backstage: Scud is pacing his dressing room, in 'street clothes'. His Scud suit in next to him. He looks sad, and touches the breast plate, as a knock comes on the door. Shaking his head, he answers it and the camera goes back to the ring...
Exodus def. Witchdoctor with a Missile Dropkick Witchdoctor came out with much fanfare, and actually had a couple fans in the front row sporting multi-colored dreadlocks and swinging incense. He was shouting "the time is nigh" over and over as he headed to the ring. He fans chanted "Harvest him" throughout the match, but the former angel Exodus was in his element here, and stayed one step ahead of his opponent the entire match to get the victory.
Brothers Oaken def. The Brigade*** when Aspin fell to The Bruising It seems Aspin's early success in the new ACE went to his head, as he quickly went for Flash of Brilliance on Rorus, who easily rolled out of the way. It was all down hill from there.. the Oakens took Aspin apart.
After the match: Donk called out the Tag Champs, calling them 'sissy freaks' Primeval Destruction quickly answered, Hybrid seeming with the power of his essence belt. The Oakens shank back visibly, but then, to their credit, recovered their composure. Warfare got in Donk's face, staring for a long time before speaking:
Warfare: You WANT to fight us? Really? {Warfare's eyes shine.. he turns to Hybrid and smiles) lets go! (Warfare floors Donk, while Hybird, with surprising speed, grabs Rorus and starts squeezing when a high pitched whistle fills the air and stops the combatants. The Syndicate voice- over guy from their commercials then pipse in)
Announcer: Tune in next week for an epic battle! Primeval Destruction Vs. the Brothers Oaken for the Essence Tag Titles.. will the Knuckleheads survive? (the Oakens cringe a bit, but nod and high tail it out of the ring. Warfare holds the Essence up for the crowd and he and Hybrid head to the back)
In the Ring, Totalis is waiting for his opponent: Totalis: Why am I fighting this loser? He was a lousy miner, a lousy cop, and now he's trying to be a jobber? Mann! That belt is mine! You can't hide forever.... The Tournament Master wants your prize... and I have NEVER failed in the pursuit of a new memento for my trophy room.
Scorch* def. Totalis** with the Trailblazer Scorch took exception to his opponents comments, and was in top form here. Totalis was furious after the match, muttering to himself all the way to the back.
The Nemean Show!
Nemean: Welcome, my friends, to the Show that never ends! I, your intrepid host, have come to give you the finest in conflict entertainment interviews! The two men I'm talking to today were almost as important as I was to defeating the Black Gathering, and have the 2nd best hair styles in ACE, I give you... the Others!
{Omni and Odyssey make their way to the ring, moving like mirror images of one another)
Nemean: So, it seems like you guys aren't getting along so well, what's up with that?
Omni/Odyssey: (Since they have the same voice, and complete each others sentences, its nearly impossible to determine who is speaking when to the casual observer) My Other...is trying to erase.. me. But I want... to exist. The Essence, must be the key... so I.. I.. will take the essence, and save... myself. I... I.. want... want... to.. to... live... live...
(the two move as one and leave)
Nemean: Hey, wait.. man, those are two weird guys.. I guess time travel does something to you. See you next week!
Godsend def. Gabriel** with Hell's Threshold Gosend looked like like his old self in this one.. Gabriel put up a good fight, but the result was never really in doubt. Godsend past Darkseed as he went to the back, and gave him a smirk, while whispering something to him that clearly angered his 'friend
Ventross def. Darkseed* with Mercy Killing Darkseed was in a rage by the time he got to the ring, but Ventross didn't take the bait.. staying calm and easily getting the victory. After recovering, Darkseed let out a bellow of rage the shook the area before going to the back
Holovid Title Match Amazing Mann def. Nes Kincade with Unbreakable to retain the Holovid Title Mann's very impressive entrance was longer than the match. Kincade missed a dropkick, and Mann pounced on him. He held Unbreakable even after the bell, taunting Kincade as he pulled at his muscles. The Oakens came out and Mann released the hold, but the damage was done.
Nes Kincade out with a dislocated Shoulder for 3 weeks
Current Champs: ACE Heavyweight: Avarice ACE Tag: Primeval Destruction Holovid: Amazing Mann (1 defense)
Injured list: Painmaster (back mid Feb.) Pendragon (back late Feb. ) Nightmare (back early Feb.) Kincade (back late Feb.)

Warfare is sitting in a dark room straight backed, in a small chair, his trademark weapon crossed on his lap. He looks directly into the camera as he speaks. His image flickers throughout the promo, intermixed with short, violent clips of the various battles Warfare has been in
Warfare: I have been fighting for something for a long time... for my partner in the GWF(C).. for the Ravagers... for the Tabula Rasa... for Centra... for change... for many things. Finally, now, in All-Centra Entertainment, I fight only for the thrill, the glory (taps the essence belt over his shoulder).. I fight... because... I love it. This man here (Hybrid's form emerges from the darkness) is the best partner I've had... and he's getting smarter, more fierce, more dangerous every day. We'll have these titles a long, long time.
Hybrid: Fighting is good... We will dominate!
(fade to the ACE logo)
Voice over guy: Tune in this week to Conflict Entertainment TV to see Primeval Destruction taken on the Brothers Oaken for the Essence Tag Team Titles!
