Pendragon opens the show in the ring:

I'm not going to get even..I'm not even mad... in mind mind, I start my ACE career tonight. The only thing that matters is the ACE championship. Peacemaker, I'm not real interested in being a cop, but if helping you will get me to where I want to go, you have my word that I'll have your back

Pendragon def. Aspin Northstar with OVERTHROW @ 4:51.
Pendragon is back with avengeance! Very impressive win here

Pendragon and Peacemaker met on the ramp as Peacemaker was coming out for his match... the two had a tense stare down, before Peacemaker offered his hand, and a new team was born.

Peacemaker def. Omni* with Peacemaker's Oath @ 17:11
Definately Omni's best singles performance to date, but it was not quite enough. There was alot of great counter wrestling in this one, it was over 12:00 before the first cover!

Esperanto def. Witchdoctor**** with Dead Man's Hand @ 6:41.
Esperanto absoutely pummeled his opponent, and could have pinned him well before he did so. After busting him open and nearly knocking him unconscious with a shot into the ring steps. He was about to continue the assault when Hustler and his friends came through the crowd, to a mixed reaction. Espo was upset, and started yelling at Hustler to mind his business, while the leader of Blue Steel just bored into him with his cool stare. Espo got got the message and rolled back into the ring. Hustler's boys tossed Witchdoctor into the ring to end the massacre as Espo pinned him, then left shaking his head.

Hustler got a mic and addressed the crowd:
It seems there's another damn police force forming... we got more cops than wrestlers around here! Blue Steel is NOT gonna let ACE become a bunch of glorified thugs with badges... the Regulators have got the message, Peacemaker, I remeber the story of your father, he was a tough hombre, but true to the badge, we're no angels, after all.

(Hustler leaves the ring as the ring is set up for the Nemean show)

Nemean: Welcome to the greatest interviews in the universe! Syndicate management has given me an announcement to deliver, but first, I have the owners of the gold, the New School!

Avarice leads the team down to the ring, all four men seem sure they own the place
Avarice: How's it going, shill?
Nemean: It's Nemean, but I'm -
Avarice: Did you think someone wanted to here you speak? Ventross, you can line up as many primitive freaks as you like, hell, I'll even get you a deal on a visit to the Rose Natural history museum. NO ONE is taking this prize from me... not you... not that crazy Primal, and not Mr. I'm-all-bad-because-I-was-in-the-GWF Mann. (boos for that).
Rorus: Shut up, you ingrates! We're your champions!
Donk: Yeah, we rule!
(Kincade, meanwhile slinks into position and drops Nemeanwith a shot to the back of the head)
Kincade: damn lizard... he forgot who we are... I suggest you all remember and Mark... the F#$).... Out.
(Avarice shakes his head at the fallen Nemean and they head to the back)

Totalis def. Amazing Mann by Dq @ 5:41
Surprisingly quick bell as Mann had Totalis in a tarantula in the corner.. the referee seemed to give no warning before calling for the bell and claiming Mann didn't break the hold. While Mann was arguing, a Syndicate representative came out to the ring.

Syndicate Suit: We'd like to announce that there will be a series of cards leading up to BATTLEZONE to pit the first round combatants against each other in singles action, just to get you a taste of what's to come at this incredible event! The first will take place this week, with the New School battling Ravager Destiny.

I'd also like to remind the wrestlers that Syndicate business should not be interrupted, just to make sure everyone is clear on that, Avarice will face Hybrid in a no-disqualification match later tonight. If the New School even leaves the locker room area during the match, you'll have a new champion. Thank you and enjoy the rest of the show.

Holovid Title Match
Nightmare def. Warfare* @ 2:55 with Mind Bender in a quick and easy victory.

Non -Title Match/ No DQ
Hybrid def. Avarice with a Poison driver @ 4:32.
The champ tried everything he could, but he could not so much as budge the huge Hybrid. After allowing Avarice to attempt to take him off his feet, he shook the ring with a monstrous Poison Driver for the shockingly easy victory.

ACE Tag Team Title Match
Brothers Oaken def. Arc Angels with Black and Blue @ 3:11.
The Oakens continue to impress. Rorus was on fire, and took down both opponents more or less by himself. He called out Hybrid after the match, who quickly obliged, along with the rest of Ravager Destiny. Security was attempting to break up an 8 man brawl as the show ended.

I see you beat me to the punch on teaming Pendragon and Peacemaker together. Wasn't sure about the pairing, will enjoy seeing where you go with it as always Wildfire.

This commerical was taped from the New School training complex... Avarice and co. are standing in front of a ring where several potential ACE wrestlers are sparring with one another

Avarice: You want some of this, Lizard boy! (motions to the belt around his waist) WE are the team of ACE.. no one can touch us. We have the Essence, we have the style, and everyone loves us. Why try?

Kincade: (speaking what can old be called a whiny growl, poorly imitating Ventross) We ahve to say the Primus, they're good bloodthirsty savages, really. (Kincade smirks as the Oakens laugh hysterically)

Avarice: You and that freak show will be lucky to even make it to Battlezone, never mind beat US. It's gonna be like lambs to the slaughter.

Kincade:Baaaaa.
(the Oakens laugh again as the camera fades to black)

Nes Kincade* def. Ventross with New Schoolboy @ 4:49.
Definately an upset here! The referee was very lenient with Kincade, perhaps owing to the 'home field advantage'

Non-Title Match
Primeval Destruction def. Brothers Oaken when Warfare pinned Donk @ 1:59.
The Oakens seemed to be focused on keeping Hybrid on the apron, and they did so, only Warfare was in high gear here, fighting off both the tag champs in turn and putting Donk down with the Warhammer! Warfare's warcry after the victory silenced, perhaps even cowed the crowd.

Non-Title Match
Paganax def. Avarice with Pagan Void @ 6:20
Much as Hybrid did last week, Paganax demolished the champ here.. as the stunned crowd looked on in disbelief. Avarice was obviously shaken as he went to the back for intermission.


During the break:

A Syndicate member in a suit and tie announce that whoever won the most matches on tonight's card would determine who got the next shot at the Essence Title! He stated that Ravager Destiny could choose a member to face Avarice if they won.


Donk Oaken*** def. Warfare**** in a bloody battle with the Bruising @ 10:32
Definately the match of the night.. these two stood toe to toe and took each other apart, no finesse or countering here. Warfare seemed to wear down and Donk was finally after to pres and advantage

Nes Kincade def. Hybrid with MTFO @ 1:57.
Another shocker for Kincade, who clearly felt right at home. H stayed away form the big Primal, and sprung up to the top rope to hit the MTFO for the win as the crowd went crazy!

The win gave the New School a 3-2 lead, and the Synidicate rep on hand announced that since Ravager Destiny won two non-title matches earlier, they held the tie breaker, so the winner of the last match would be the winning team. The crowd, still cheer after Kincade's amazing performance, was quickly silenced by the appearance of Paganax and Ventross.

Avarice/Rorus Oaken** def. Ventross/Paganax* by DQ @ 11:01
It was a slow, methodical match, which definately favored Ravager Destiny. Rorus in particular seemed to be wearing down, and the champ had to break up two different pin attempts. The call for the bell came when Ventross and Paganax were double teaming Avarice, and took too long to leave the ring. Ventross was incensed at the ruling as the New School breathed a sign of relief.

The Syndicate rep came out to thank the crowd for coming, and to inform them it looked like Amazing Mann would have to get a title shot after all.

Nes Kincaid is awesome!!! Two big wins for him. If he gets an update during one of the insert editions he'll be sick.

Peacemaker puts his words to actions, as he accepted a real beating from Witchdoctor before getting the win when the referee caught him using Death's Spectrum.

Odyssey*** makes his return to the ring and tries his hand at singles action. With Omni looking on, SimBOT took Odyssey apart and won easily.

Pendragon shows some team unity by winning the hard way when Mr. Bloat stuck a fork in his eye practically right after the opening bell. Hustler and his men were quickly out of the crowd to make sure Bloat didn't attempt to make any trouble.

Shepard throws everything he has at Totalis****** . finally getting the win in a amazing display of resilience from the man who has preved to put on great matches time and again.

S & M*** take a beating from the Arc Angels** but a small mistake by Exodus leads to an oppertunistic pin for the inmates.

Aspin Northstar felt the full effect of Shock and Awe, but Lance was able to make the save and allow him to recover, while Flatliner got stuck in the ring, leading to a Brigade*** victory over the Shock Syndicate***

Nes Kincade* mad a suprise appearance after his two grueling matches last night, in an attempt to soften up the Amazing Mann* for ACE champion Avarice. Kincade's fatigue was obvious, and he was on the defensive most of the match. Mann wore him down and got the victory with little trouble.

Scud* dominated Omni*** from the opening bell, but the finish was marred when a desparate Omni attemped to hide behind referee to avoid Crash and Burn. A new official came out and disqualified him.

Omni was distraught after another loss, when Odyssey came out. The two partner/rivals sized each other up for a moment, then both spoke at once.

Omni/Odyssey: Perhaps we should still team together for now. Fighting alone seems... incomplete.

The two shook hands and left the ring area.

The newly formed team of the Dredd Peacekeepers(Pendragon/Peacemaker) destroyed Witchdoctor/Zombie Dreadnaught** in short order, sending a clear message to the rest of ACE.

Donk Oaken** attempted to break the spell Hybrid**** seems to have on the New School in one heck of a slobberknocker. Donk seemed to be looking for Rorus on several occasions, but still held his own and got several near falls on the monstrous Primal. The end came when Rorus did come down with Nes Kincade and Kincade allowed the Oakens to it Coup de Grace will the referee wasn't looking. Warfare and Ventross were out quickly and cleaned the ring, but the referee, seeing only the retaliation, awarded the match to Oaken.

Mr. Bloat showed his sadism in a ruthless assault on Hustler**** . The Blue Steel leader had no answer for Bloat, and lost consciousness as Bloat laughed maniacially. After the bell Bloat seemed ready to do more damage when both Blue Steel and Peacemaker and Pendragon hit the ring. Bloat quickly hid behind the prison guards as the others stared at each other. Hustler came to and said something to his boys before nodding thanks to Peacemaker and leaving with them through the crowd.

Nemean: Welcome, friends, to the greatest talk show in the history of conflict entertaiment TV, the Nemean show. I have big Battlezone announcement today, which invloves my guest, Pain Master. Welcome!

PM: Hello, lackey. Nice to see you.

Nemean: I see the food at the prison is good. Anyway, what do you think about the new team, the Dredd Peacekeepers? Syndicate mangement has announced that they will face the House of Pain at Battlezone.

PM: Really.. that's.. interesting. It seems the Regulators are no longer the law.. even the so-called 'pride of the people' has left them. I think it's clear who won there. These new attempted do-gooders will be the same. Everyone has evil within them, it just takes the right motivation to coax it out... for some, it's pain... others.. it's money. Sometimes it's even something so irrelivant as a talk show segment on a wrestling show.

Nemean (who looks very uncomfortable): Yes, um, that's all the time we have today,let's get back to the action!

Painmaster**** def. a throughly defeated looking Esperanto when Espo seemed to lose focus after Painmaster kicked out of Dead Man's Hand a 2nd time.

Nightmare** once again reacted to Shepard's** Exorcism, seeming to draw some of his old power from Shepard's attacks. When Shepard's attempt at an elbow disappeared into Nightmare's chest, the Arcangels stormed the ring to help. The power surge seemed momentary, as Exodus pulled Nightmare without any trouble as the referee called for the bell.

Lance At-Las def. Darkseed*** in an excellent battle, but the crowd was just not into the match, and Lance left quickly after the match.

ACE Heavyweight Title Match
Avarice*** used his Essence-ehanced agility to good effect, staying away from the deadly submissions of Amazing Mann*****. The challenger came very close to locking in Unbreakable, but the champ squirmed over to the ropes just in time and continues his assualt.

Sycophant*** but a real hurt on Hustler**** , but Hustler refused to give in. Choking and sputtering from the repeated assaults on his throat and neck, Hustler finally rocked the Deviant with a Pistol Whip. Sycophant fell as if he'd be shot, rather than hit, and the audience nearly rioted. The referee reluctantly called for the bell.

Pendragon** had no problem with Painmaster** , who tired quickly and never really got much going.

Peacemaker quickly took advantage of Mr. Bloat* getting distracted by the crowd and won easily.

A brief 'discussion' on proper etiquette for the fan is held, with lots of guards standing by... including a threat not to come back if they didn't behave better. Meanwhile, the cage was set up for a battle between the New School and Ravager Destiny:

Cosmic Cage Match
Donk Oaken wanted no part of going toe to toe with Hybrid so he took the 'smart' route and blinded him before quickly sneaking out of the cage. The crowd was mixed in it's reaction... some wanted blood, others applauded the trick. Hybrid nearly tore the cage down trying to get at Donk, who made a hasty exit.

6 Man Team Battle:
Sycophant was in the ring the majority of the match for the House of Pain, and he got all the pain he could want. The Peacekeepers pummeled him, and would have ended the match quickly if Painmaster hadn't saved him on two separate pin attempts. The 2nd one touched off a wild brawl, that took some time to get under control. When the smoke cleared, Pendragon had Painmaster in the ring all to himself while Hustler and Peacemaker held off Mr. Bloat

Scud makes quick work of Witchdoctor with a Spinning Neckbreaker @ 3:51. Witchdoctor seems confused throughout, as if he was expecting Zombie Dreadnaught to be there... perhaps his summoning is not as reliable as he wishes.

The Others got back together with avengeance, completely squashing the Shock Syndicate*** when Omni pinned Flatliner with Chronochasm @ 3:21.

Aspin Northstar earned a tough victory over Nemean when Nemean hit the referee with a errant elbow from the 2nd rope. Nemean seemed extremely concerned, and was completely surprised when Aspin planted him with the Northern Star suplex to get the win once another offical arrived @ 6:18.

Totalis* looked to shed his recent 'great in defeat' streak, but Amazing Mann had other plans. Mann stayed firmly control through and ended with a perfect application of Unbreakable for the win @ 4:51.

Peacemaker* was ready to tear Nes Kincade apart when he tried the New Schoolboy twice in the 1st minutes of the match. Peacemaker demanded the referee call for the bell, and he got his wish. (DQ @ 1:26)

Darkseed**** gets what has to be considered an upset victory over Ventross* when Avarice came out to taunt the Ravager leader and the distraction allowed Darkseed to hit Spiked Mace for the win @ 13:09.

Esperanto bled for his victory once again as Mr. Bloat was Disqualified for using a ghetto fork. Something was very wrong with Espo after the match, as he stood in the center of the ring and stared down at the blood dripping into his hands, shaking his head and mumbling to himself. Scorch had to come down to the ring and help him to the back. (DQ @ 5:36)

Non-Title Match in a Cage:
Brothers Oaken** def. Primeval Destruction** when Rorus once again puts one over on Hybrid and blinds him with Sand in the Eye after a brutal encounter. (12:57)
