With a background in Christian ministry, I have especially enjoyed running the aCe scenarios. The dark spiritual themes make for very interesting gaming, indeed. I have even interjected some political intrigue into the mix!
I have been promoting my Federated aCe league for a couple on months now, so I'll begin this thread at the 11th card.
Feel free to add your comments & suggestions.

aCe Superstars Program #000011 Beamed live throughout the Galaxy from the Ravager Mothership Oct. 3, 2119
Opening Segment
The weekly show opens with a video recap of the events leading up to the present:
~ Trisis, the lovely wife of Aegis, leader of the baby-face Ramparts of Centra team, has disappeared. A search has begun on the entire planet of Centra Prime, and the surrounding heavenlies.
~ Lance At-las suffers a serious injury during a match several weeks ago, when he is surprised by a mysterious undead creature, along with Noxious, of Murdock's Crusade Team. The undead humanoid is infected with the deadly plague, and has spread the malady to Lance At-las! He is hospitalized, slipping into a painful, comatose condition.
~ Lance At-las returned about 6 weeks later, only to be re-injured in a match against Godsend. He is out for about 1 month.
~ A couple of weeks ago, the undead female creature is revealed to be none other than Aegis' missing wife, Trisis! She has now assumed the role of Queen of the Damned, and partner of Murdock! She has sworn her allegiance to the causes of darkness, and swears to destroy her former husband, Aegis.
~ Another bombshell was revealed at this time: Noxious, another undead creature in Murdock's team of wickedness, happens to be Meteor, former all-star tag-team partner of Lance At-las!
~ Lance At-las will return to aCe action this evening after recovering from numerous injuries!
We go to a live shot of the ring, where the announcer introduces Lance At-las, who thanks the fans for their concern during his absence.
"But I am not here to whine over my injuries," says At-las. "Oh, no... I am here to address Murdock, right here, right now. So come out here & meet me face-to-face, one-on-one, man-to-man, in the center of this ring."
~ Murdock does not show. Growing impatient, At-las makes the call once again. "I know that you are here this evening, Murdock! Get your behind out here, you nasty piece of crap!"
Suddenly, a bright beam of light illuminates the mat next to Lance At-las, then glowing particles within the brightness begin to coagulate to form the shape of a man. The light fades away, leaving an undead creature standing beside Lance At-las. As the camera zooms in, we recognize the figure as: Noxious, the former ally of At-las, once called Meteor, now undead minion of Murdock.
"Meteor! It is you, my friend. Please, listen to me. I can help!" pleads At-las.
Noxious replies by pounding away at his old friend, then throwing him out over the ropes to the stone arena floor. The undead marauder climbs down to body slam At-las, his body making a sickening thud.
Shepard's theme music thunders through the cavernous arena, heralding the approach of the secretive Disciple of God himself! Shoving Lance At-las away, he launches himself at the wicked warrior, firing huge shots with gloved fists.
Noxious runs away, holding his bleeding head with both hands.
Then, Murdock appears in the stage area of the amphitheater, accompanied by Trisis, his undead queen.
"You wanted me, Lance At-las?" Murdock asks.
Shepard slips an arm around the shoulders of his stunned friend. "More than the air I breathe," says At-las. "I want to spill your plague-filled blood across this canvas, Murdock!"
An official beams into the ring, and grabs a microphone. "The board has just had an impromptu meeting. We have signed the following match: Lance At-las versus Murdock. This bout will take place later this very evening!"
-----
1) Grovel versus Warfare (Rankor manages Grovel from his corner.)
~ Warfare defeated Grovel with a Centra Spinebuster at 11:48 ~ Match Rating: 4.00
Before this bout, Gen. Rankor makes an address concerning technology. "A big part of the reason for the breakdown of society all across Centra Prime is the disproportionate distribution of technology. What this means is, the rich & powerful in our society, like the disgusting Ravagers, have hoarded all of the technology! While the honest, simple folk, like The Tribes of Primus, & you fine people, are forced to a pitiful life of technological starvation! It's not right, is it? So I am calling for a redistribution of all technology. I want all computers, and other technology, removed from the revolting Ravagers, and distributed among others who are not as fortunate as them..."
Warfare runs out with a microphone, explaining that the Ravagers have worked hard, fought hard, and carefully invested their income in order to sustain their proud race.
"I dare you, or anyone else, to attempt to take away anything from the Ravagers!" Warfare explained.
~ After pinning Grovel, following a back & forth struggle, Warfare confronted Rankor, calling him to a fight in the ring. In reply, the General just led a visibly battered & exhausted Grovel from the ring area.
-----
2) Non-title matchup - Paganax (Holovision Champion) vs. Nemean
~ Paganax defeated Nemean with a PAGAN VOID at 1:01 ~ Match Rating: 3.00
aCe Holovision Champ, Paganax, hopes to use this as a tune-up match. Nemean is using this as a stage to showcase, what he calls, his under-utilized skills.
A taped segment is shown prior to the match: "Hey, I've got a lot to offer this league," says the brash, young Ravager. "The fans know about my skills. And so do my opponents. Now it's about time that the aCe Committee discovers what they're missing."
Nemean steps closer to the camera to peer into your face: "Paganax... Listen up, big man. You think that you're gonna use me to throw around like a rag doll? Heh...heh...heh... Half-way thru our match, you will realize that you underestimated me... and then... it will be too late... and Nemean will pin your shoulders for the one... two... three. Count on it, bub..."
~ Paganax made short work of the clearly overmatched young Ravager.
3) Corp. Tek vs. Shepard
~ Shepard defeated Corporal Tek with an EXORCISM (Roll 1 at 7:13 ~ Match Rating: 4.75
~ A Shepard video segt. plays before this matchup, displaying the monster-hunter himself sitting on a large log in a wooded area.
"My job in the aCe league is to root out demonic influences, wherever I find them. I guess I have settled into the role of enforcer for the Ramparts of Centra team... And that suits me just fine. As long as I get the opportunity to demolish another demon, destroy another devil, and maul another monster. My Father called me to perform my task, and through His power, that's what I'll do."
An off-screen voice asks about this evening's match against Corp. Tek.
Shepard fingers a home-made, sharpened cross as he answers: "Yeah, well, the Corporal is Murdock's right-hand man, so to speak. His job is to control & direct Murdock's plague-infested troops. My job is to put a stop to their advance. What better way to accomplish that, than slow up Corporal Tek?"
"And what if you lose?" asks the voice.
Shepard sheaths the cross in a backpack as he answers. "That will not happen..."
~ Shepard defeats Murdok's right-hand man in a classic matchup!
4) Special Challenge Match! Lance At-las vs. Murdok (Trisis at ring-side)
~ Murdok defeated Lance At-Las with a Centra Takeover submission at 12:52 ~ Match Rating: 5.00
~ With his deadly Queen helping from ringside, Murdok pounded Lance At-las mercilessly!
~ At-las was a very game opponent, but Murdok dished out too much firepower this evening.
~ At one point, Aegis ran down to the ring to help his teammate, but to no avail, as Murdok won via his cross-armed submission finisher.
~ After the bout, Aegis pleaded with his wife to come back home, as she silently slipped away, arm-in-arm with her creepy "king".

Other than a badly bruised ego, along with some soreness, Nemean checked out OK at an area hospital following his loss to Paganax last evening.
Various unnamed sources are reporting that due to the savage beating that he received during the non-title bout, the young, outspoken Ravager is rethinking his choice of employment. Some say that he has mentioned entertainment, even movies or theatre.
We'll stay on top of this developing story.

aCe Superstars Program #000012 10/17/2119
Beamed live from the Antilia Ruins Arena
Opening Segment - Video of Press Conference
A video-taped clip opens tonight's show, featuring Murdock & aCe Essence Champ Nicodemus announcing the match taking place at the Ruins of Antilia.
While Murdock is addressing the press, Lance At-las suddenly rushes in out of no where swinging a chair! Security is called in to drag Lance At-las away.
The press conference continues, as Murdock explains that At-las should be punished for his behavior.
The aCe board met with Lance At-las, and since such brutish behavior is rare from him, it is agreed to issue a warning and give him the night off.
1) The Specialists (Shepard/Scorch) vs. Resurrection (Corp Tek/Cremator)
~ Resurrection won by disqualification at the 4:24 mark. ~ Cremator is injured for 5 cards. ~ Scorch is suspended for 6 cards. ~ Match rating: 2.75
Corp. Tek and Shepard never entered into this bout. From the opening bell, Scorch continuously hammered away on Cremator with a loaded glove, despite the orders from the referee to cease
After the bout, the Ramparts, Specialist team chased the Corporal back to the lockers.
Meanwhile, Cremator was carted away by the Medics. He is out for 5 cards.
2) Special Challenge! Warfare vs. Gen. Rankor (w/Jakyll at ringside)
~ Warfare won by pinfall after nailing Gen. Rankor with a shoulder breaker in 8:46. ~ Match rating: 4.00
The General has been verbally attacking Warfare in several interviews, stating that it is his opinion that the Ravager Warrior is overrated & one-dimensional.
Warfare tore into the Primus Leader with a vengeance! Despite a sneak attack by Jakyll, Warfare won this bout by pinall.
After the match, Jakyll climbed in to attack the winning Ravager with a Primus flagpole.
That prompted Warfare's teammate, Flatliner, to charge the ring, chasing away Jakyll.
3) Krypt (w/Paganax at ringside) vs. Nemean
~ Krypt defeated Nemean with a Kryptic Crackback at 7:58. ~ Match Rating: 4.75
Following a commercial break, Nemean comes out to announce that he has been seriously reconsidering his future in the wrestling ring. He has been looking at possibly going into the entertainment field.
Paganax's tribal music heralds the approach of the big Heathen Chief, with Krypt in tow, for a confrontation.
Nemean obviously believes that the Holovision Champ is going to wrestle him again, (Paganax whupped Nemean last card).
Instead, Paganax mumbled some unintelligible words, and pointed to Krypt. Krypt stepped up to shove Nemean. When Nemean's only response was to question this, Krypt slapped Nemean's face. The proud Ravager exploded, nailing the monster with a big right-hand!
After separating the combatants, it was agreed to book this match immediately. A ref enters - we've got a match!
After this match, Krypt held down Nemean, allowing Paganax to dump a vase of blood over him.
4) Aegis vs. Godsend
~ Godsend defeated Aegis with an Eternal Realm at 7:43 ~ Match Rating: 3.75
A video precedes this bout, showing Godsend standing in an ominous, shadowy area, chanting a prayer before a bonfire, with disgusting zombies dancing around him.
After the big win, Godsend called for a run-in. Someone came crawling from under the ring: it's Noxious!
Just when the Rampart leader was about to be doubled-teamed, out ran Shepard with Rouser. While the mysterious disciple chased Godsend out through the crowd, Rouser ran Noxious away with his big club.
5) aCe Essence Title Championship
Nicodemus (Champion) vs. Murdock (Trisis at ringside)
~ Nicodemus got the pinfall win via his Nuclear Winter finisher at 12:35 to retain the aCe Championship. ~ Match Rating: 5.00
What a bout! At one point, Trisis jumped in to help Murdock. Out of no where, Lance At-las ran in to chase the wicked Queen back out.
After the bout, Trisis slipped in to attempt another plague attack, but once again, Lance At-las charged the ring to hold off the evil Queen!
Suddenly - Noxious (AKA Meteor) snuck in to challenge his former ally, Lance At-las. The plague-ridden member of Murdock's Crusade rained down a barrage of powerful blows, chasing At-las off through the crowd.
While back in the ring, the champion Nicodemus grabbed his Essence belt, and swung it around like a deadly weapon, chasing away Murdock, Trisis & Noxious!
The show ends with Nicodemus standing tall in the center of the ring, hoisting the Championship Strap high above his helmeted head.
