We're back for 2088! The schedule is set and the field is larger. Can Wolf and the Greek Gods repeat, or will we have new champions at the conclusion of this season?
This season, there are 20 singles wrestlers and they will be divided into four five-man divisions. As for tag teams, there are eight teams which will be divided into two four-team divisions.
In the singles group, the four division winners along with two wildcards will make the post season. In the tag team group, the two division winners along with four wildcards will make it. The top two division winners will receive first round byes.
The singles season will last thirteen weeks, with the tag season lasting ten weeks. In the singles group, each wrestler in a division will face each other twice, and all of the wrestlers in another division once each. For example, the wrestlers in Deimos will all face each other twice, and then face everyone in the Earth division. As for tag teams, they will face each team in their own division twice each and all four teams from the opposite division as well.
The wrestlers (singles) in the Deimos division will face off against those in the Earth division. Those in the Aethra division will face those in the Ceres division.
So here are the divisions!
Deimos Division: Star Warrior Thantos Mesmer Bishop Hell Killer Queen
Earth Division: Massif Exo-King Omega Death Knight Reptillo
Aethra Division: Wolf Spike Lord Nexus Invincible Krakan Pulsar
Ceres Division: Billy Jo Boxer Splatter Pit Viper Ghengis Khan The Mutant
And tag teams!
Deimos Division: The Bomb Squad (Adam Blast & Commander Sam) The Henchmen (The Executioner & Comrade Terror) The Neptunian Space-Croppers (Beast-Rider & Renegade) Beauty and the Beast (Vanity & The Creeper)
Aethra Division: The Ani-Men of Andromeda (Incredible Badger & Battering Ram) The Gladiators (Brute & Massacre) The Greek Gods (Proteus & Actagon) The Norse Gods (Lightening & Man-Mountain)

The Singles Divisions are going to be very interesting this year. Aethra and Ceres look like they might end up as wild toss-ups!
The Deimos Tag also looks to be a toss-up, but that Aethra Tag Division, WOW! There is going to be some very tough going in that bracket!
Looks great already! Killer Queen is in for a loooong year!

Week 1 Results:
- Invincible Krakan pinned Pulsar after a powerslam. - Gheghis Khan pinned the Mutant after a deadly throat chop. - Beauty & the Beast defeated The Norse Gods when Vanity pinned Lightening after the PULVERIZER. - Lord Nexus pinned Pit Viper after a karate chop. - Spike pinned Splatter after an atomic spike. - The Greek Gods defeated The Neptunian Space-Croppers when Proteus pinned Beast-Rider after the OVERHEAD TOSS. - Wolf made Billy Jo Boxer submit to the SAVAGE FACE CLAW. - Reptillo pinned Death Knight with a flying cross body block. - The Gladiators defeated the Henchmen when Brute pinned Comrade Terror after a Gladiator piledriver. - Killer Queen pinned Bishop Hell with a sunset flip. - Mesmer pinned Omega after a standing dropkick. - The Ani-Men of Andromeda defeated the Bomb Squad when Incredible Badger pinned Adam Blast after the ANDROMEDA DROP. - Thantos made Exo-King submit to the MASTERLOCK. - Star Warrior pinned Massif after the NOVA LAUNCH.
Observations: * Both champions from last year were victorious, but it wasn't easier for either. Billy Jo Boxer had Wolf "on the ropes" with an offensive flurry before Wolf was able to turn it around, and the Space-Croppers were in control for most of their match against the Greek Gods before Proteus was able to win the match for his team. * More of the same from Star Warrior and Thantos. Those two should be neck and neck all season long. They'll meet in Week 8, and again during Week 12. * Next week's biggest matches include Spike taking on Billy Jo Boxer and Thantos going up against Massif.

Killer Queen surprises big time! Actually, Queen is pretty hit-or-miss as he always seemed to be able to make a rough time for anyone, but very rarely went anywhere.
Massif vs. Thantos next week should be good, apart from Wolf, Massif has caused the most trouble for Thantos in my 2087.
It would be cool if during the playoffs this year, some non-tournament bouts could take place between rivals from over the season and things like that.

Mr. Hyde, that's a great idea. Those last few cards are so short, I think it would make sense to include some "exhibition" matches - maybe even bring back some tag teams for it. This might be a good time to use six-man and eight-man tag matches and special rules bouts.

This might be a good time to use six-man and eight-man tag matches and special rules bouts. Exactly. This fed has an excellent format to it, but it doesn't leave too much room for you to have fun with all the cool specialty matches and feuds and things. But if you take advantage of the open card space in the playoffs, I'm sure you will have much more fun with your fed and I already know I'm greatly looking forward to reading it!

Week 2 Results:
- Splatter pinned the Mutant after the HATCHET JOB. - Invincible Krakan pinned Pit Viper after the FALLING FACE SLAM. - The Greek Gods defeated Beauty & the Beast when Proteus pinned the Creeper after a full power slam. - Lord Nexus pinned Ghengis Khan after the TITAN DROP. - Billy Jo Boxer pinned Spike after a Titan Drop. - The Neptunian Space-Croppers defeated the Norse Gods when Renegade made Lightening submit to the SPINECRACKER. - Wolf made Pulsar submit to the SAVAGE FACE CLAW. - Exo-King pinned Reptillo after a Flying Body Crusher. - The Ani-Men of Andromeda defeated the Henchmen when Incredible Badger pinned the Executioner after the ANDROMEDA DROP. - Bishop Hell pinned Omega after the Bishop Blast. - Mesmer made Death Knight submit to the BLACKOUT. - The Gladiators defeated the Bomb Squad when Brute pinned Commander Sam after the DECAPITATOR. - Massif pinned Thantos after a head butt. - Star Warrior pinned Killer Queen after the NOVA LAUNCH.
Observations: * Star Warrior takes the early lead over Thantos with Thantos losing to Massif. Will it hold? * Looks lik the Aethra tag team division is going to be a tough one to come out of. We should see separation once those teams start facing one another. * Billy Jo Boxer is a force to be reckoned with. He picked up a big win over Spike this week. * Matches to watch for next week include Star Warrior v. Exo-King, Mesmer v. Massif, and Wolf v. Splatter.

So here are the divisions! Deimos Division: Star Warrior Thantos Mesmer Bishop Hell Killer Queen Earth Division: Massif Exo-King Omega Death Knight Reptillo Aethra Division: Wolf Spike Lord Nexus Invincible Krakan Pulsar Ceres Division: Billy Jo Boxer Splatter Pit Viper Ghengis Khan The Mutant And tag teams! Deimos Division: The Bomb Squad (Adam Blast & Commander Sam) The Henchmen (The Executioner & Comrade Terror) The Neptunian Space-Croppers (Beast-Rider & Renegade) Beauty and the Beast (Vanity & The Creeper) Aethra Division: The Ani-Men of Andromeda (Incredible Badger & Battering Ram) The Gladiators (Brute & Massacre) The Greek Gods (Proteus & Actagon) The Norse Gods (Lightening & Man-Mountain) I will predict Division Winners, but not Wildcards. Deimos Division looks INTENSE. Star Warrior and Thantos are obviously men to watch...Bishop Hell can easily take himself out of the game...Mesmer will be the spoiler here...I am gonna say Thantos takes the division this year. Earth Division Exo-King has lighter competition this go around...look for him to gain a berth into the playoffs, as Massif is the only other threat here, and I believe Massif will prove more prone to defeat overall. Aethra Division Wolf may find himself hoping for a Wild Card...Spike will do a ton of damage, though Nexus may prove to be a spoiler here, like Mesmer in Deimos. Calling it for Spike. Ceres Division The Divisions this year are going to cost some very deserving guys some berths and set up some weak playoffs. Look for Splatter to take this crown. Deimos Tag Sam and Blast are surprisingly good...I don't think Execution and Terror can keep up. Sam and Blast take the crown. Aethra Tag Brute and Massacre will not make up for last year, but neither will The Greeks win here...Battering Ram and Incredible Badger take the crown in this division, though The Greeks and Gladiators could easily gain a Wildcard.
