In a dark corner of Cronos, two men in suits are sitting in conference with Solaris, God of Gods and head of the Cronos project
Suit #1: ... but security, sir.
Solaris: These are men of honor, no matter what they fight for. If we have then swear not to leave the arena, and keep a dilligent watch on who enters the stands, there should be no problems.
Suit #2: There is a more.. stable solution, sir. The young techinican pushes a small device across the desk, it resembles an ear piece for a telephone This device can be programmed with the indivuals bio-signature. If the wrestler's future self comes with a mile, a Jumpgate activates and brings the wrestlers back to Cronos.
Solaris: And the danger?
Suit #2: Just some discomfort. Alcor Technologies assures us the jump gates are 100% safe. They've been using this technology in dimension X for years.
Solaris: I see.. in that case, we have some planning to do, gentlemen. Cronos has just joined the Cosmic Wrestling Alliance.

Two days before Timeslip, in the trans-time portal facility on Cronos. The technician on duty if focused on his computer terminal when he nearly jumped out of his skin as Thantos touches him on the shoulder.
Tech: Cos.. Thantos, is it? yes, I see the scar, must be Thantos.
Thantos: Don't presume to know my mind, peon... but yes, I am Thantos. Cosmos died in a GWF ring a several months ago... well, apparently that's many years now... I admit this time travel is not... easy to grasp.
Tech: Yes, well, that's why you should be in the orientation center. I assure you the our Psy-therapists are the best in the galaxy....
Thantos grabs the tech by the throat, but then composes himself quickly. Still, the techs eyes are very wide, and a small puddle forms on the floor. Both men ingore it
Thantos: I need no more small men attempting to 'fix' my mind.. it is clear for the first time in many years. I have come to ensure you bring the rest of the roster forward correctly...
Tech: You don't have to worry there, sir, I've got everything here the tech points to the holo-display in front of him I'll be summoning Omega next..
Thantos: .. and that is why I am here. You have the wrong time. If you want to serve this facility properly, you'll need to correct that...
Tech: Now sir, I'm sure Omega is supposed to be summoned...
Thantos: Of course he is, peon! Only the best are required to battle the likes of Thantos. I came to insure you use the Omega from the proper time period. The information you have there is faulty.
Tech: I beg your pardon, sir, but I've went over Solaris' instructions several times The glare Thantos imparts upon the hapless tech was enough to melt the courage of many brave men... the tech was not a brave man I mean, what is the correct time, Sir.
Thantos: 2083. You WILL do this. No need to change your reports, just be sure you summon him from the... proper... time.
The tech gulps, then looks from Thantos to the screen, weighing his options. he then proceeds to tap on his keyboard for a minute, as Thantos waits.
Tech: It's all set, sir, Omega and Morpheus will be pulled from 2083.. would you like to wait for them to arrive?
Thantos: I said nothing of Morpheus? Why...
Tech: Surely, sir, you understand that the two biggest rivals of their era come as a package? Much like you and Star Warrior... it helps for a smooth transition.
Thantos seems agitated, but then, after a moment's thought, smiles
Thantos: I see... very well. You may want to summon a house cleaning bot before they arrive. Something seems a bit... foul in here.
with that, the Thantos turns and leaves... leaving the poor tech to his own devices.
Tech: It sure does, 'sir'. The tech picks up the phone to call Solaris, but then remembers the glare of Thantos, and puts it down, instead summoning the house cleaning bot, before heading off to his living space for a change of clothes.

Timeslip, Day 1 Card #1.01 Space Croppers(Renegade/Natural Man**) def. Wind Riders(Rama*/Tano*) when Renegade pinned Rama after the Cropper Slam The crowd was electric for this, the opening match of Cronos Classic Combat. The 'local hero' tag of the Wind Riders seems to have followed them here, and they received a HUGE pop. Natural Man seemed pretty upset by it, and really struggle early on. The Wind Riders were very impressive with their lightning tags and high flying offense, but Rama got caught playing to the crowd, and allowed Natural Man to escape and make the hot tag that lead to the loss. Backstage: C 3 interviewer Rex Hunter was with Omega and Star Warrior: Hunter: Welcome to the C 3, gentlemen. I have to ask you though, why form a team to defend a code that says there should be no teams? The question makes Star Warrior look a little uncomfortable, but Omega just chuckles Omega: You don't pull any punches, do you, Rex. The Code was more than a set of rules, it was a concept of noble combat in a setting where no one would get hurt. I know an awful lot has happened since my day, but one thing never changes.. the best competitions are fair ones. Hunter: True, but how do you get men like Thantos and Krakan to obey your rules? Omega: That's where he comes in. Omega points to the Code Enforcer, who just joined them It's a new day, and we need to change with the times. I still think wrestling can serve it's place as an outlet for aggression, and even an alternative to war, but only if the contests in the ring are fairly contested. Hunter: What do you think, Star Warrior? Warrior: I stand by my father 100%, and plan to show the world his philosphy works by winning not just the C 3 title, but the CWA title as well. Spike, Thantos, Morpheus... no one will stand in my way. After all, I had the best teacher in the Galaxy. The two men share a warm laugh Hunter: Well, it's a tough field, but if anyone can overcome that rogue's gallery using honor and fair play, it's these men standing behind me. Let's get back to the action. Cronos Legends Title Tournament, Quarter finals Spike def. Star Warrior with the Super Destroyer Not much to this match, Star Warrior sent Spike off the ropes, and the big Gladiator came off with a vicious low blow.. which got by the referee, who was screen by Star Warrior. Spike quickly planted him with the Super Destroyer and that was all she wrote. Spike: There is no 'fair' is combat. One man wins, and one man loses. And if one of those men is a Gladiator of Aethra, well, there's no question. Spike gave the booing crowd an Aethran military salute and departed. Thantos Vs. Lord Nexus* with the Masterlock Nexus did what he could, but he was clearly no match for the Evil Gamemaster. No contest, really Exo-King def. Omega**** with an atomic drop. Exo-King made quite an entrance, with dancers, jugglers, and even a lutist leading his litter to the ring. Omega seemed to underestimate him due to the pomp, and paid for it. The King to the fight right to the GWF's living legend. It took some time, but there was never any doubt as to the outcome. Hechilles* def. Morpheus** by DQ Morpheus came out with something to prove, insiders say he's not happy that Thantos is the presumptive leader of the Gamemasters, and started the match one fire. Hechilles weathered the storm, though, and the big man started to wear down. Sensing the momentum has shifted, Morpheus resorted to attempting to use a chair outside the ring, but was caught and disqualified. Rex Hunter was on hand to talk to the victor. Hunter: It has to feel good to be the only man on the hero side to move on to the semi-finals. Hechilles: I'm just here to win matches and bring home the gold. Feuds and politics don't interest me. If they did, I'd have accepted Omega's offer. Hunter: You declined joining the Defenders? Even with your former partner and rival on the other side. Hechilles: Caiman no longer interests me, only the title does. The Grappler's Guild is the very best in wrestling today, yesterday or an time... you'll see that once the C 3 wins the championships. Hechilles shakes Hunter's hand, then leaves. Hunter: So much for a big hero. I've received word that Hechilles will face off against Spike in the semi-finals, while Thantos will battle Exo-King. Hunter cocks his head, listening to something There's a commotion down at ringside.. back to the ring! The Code Enforcer stood in the center of the ring, with a long parchment in hand. His opponent for the evening, Krakan, looked bored as he stood in the corner, his lackeys Mutant and Ghenghis Khan behind him outside the ring. Code Enforcer: For your dispicable acts against the Flying Titans, and Dragon Fighter in particular, I hearby decree you have broken the wrestling Code. Prepare to be diciplined. Code Enforcer** def. Krakan by DQ Surprisingly, the match started out very cleanly, with some impressive mat work by Krakan. It didn't last long, though, as the action spilled outside. The Code Enforcer pulled a crowbar from under the ring and attempted to hit Krakan with it, but the invincible one was able to pull Mutant in front of him to take the blow. Khan took that as a signal and jumped the Enforcer from behind, causing the DQ. Krakan grabbed the crow bar and was poised to give his downed opponent a scar to match Pit Vipers when Omega and Star Warrior hit the ring for the save. Krakan and his men scattered, escaping punishment, but not able to secure the victory. TKO(KO Keller/Billy Jo Boxer**) Vs. Ghengis Khan/Mutant – No Contest The Society of Death had Billy Jo Boxer cut off, but Boxer refused to stay down. Finally, when Ghenghis Khan seemed to pull something out of his tights, KO Keller had seen enough. All four men brawled all over the ring side area. The referee completely lost control and had to call for the bell. Backstage: TKO walked past Pit Viper as he headed down to the ring for his match against Wolf. Keller: Dragon..Dragon... fine... 'Pit Viper' Viper smirks at the small victory and stops to turn and face Keller Viper: It doesn't look like you two got the best of the fight... how's Nexus' sanctomonius drivel sounding now? Keller: That was just one little fight in a big war, Viper... and I think we gave as good as we got. Billy Jo Boxer attempts to nod his agreement, but winces in pain from the brawl Viper: Yeah, you guys got off clean. When you tire of the load of #$( #$# Nexus and Omega are selling, come see me, you were a hell of a fighter once. Keller gets up nose to nose with Viper Keller: I still am, punk, and don't you forget. Friend of Nexus or no, if you need a beating, I'd gladly give it to you. Viper: Any time, old man, any time. Viper heads out to the ring smiling, as Keller storms off Pit Viper def. Wolf with a Venom Blast Wolf was somewhere far away for this one.. he was unable to muster any offense at all, and fell quickly the already pumped up Pit Viper.
Cronos Legends Tag Team Title Tournament, Quarter finals Paladin Power(Moonstrike/Solar Flare*) def. Greek Gods(Actagon*****/Proteus) by DQ The Titans dominated from the opening bell in this one, throwing everything they had at Actagon. Proteus was able to make the save after a Paladin Missile, but argued with the referee after a 2nd save and shoved him, causing the DQ. Animal Pack(Badger/Battering Ram) def. Gladiator Legends(Brute/Massacre*) by DQ After an intense first few minutes, the action spilled outside and Massacre drove his cigar butt (still lit) into Battering Ram's forehead. The referee was actually on the other side of the ring separating Brute and Badger, but the scream from Ram could broker no argument. Powerhouse(Massif/Mighty Grogan) def. Alien Domination(Caiman***/Comrade Terror) when Massif got Caiman to tap to a grinding bear Thantos' hand picked team didn't use their brains in this one, attempting to out muscle two of the strongest men in the C3 Polarity(Sin/Salvation**) def. Rock Solid(Screw/Ricken Prince*) when Sin flattened Ricken Prince with a Knuckle Sandwich Rock Solid dominated early, but the Prince got too caught up trying to play to the crowd, and Salvation rolled him up for a near fall. While the Prince was arguing to the referee that Salvation had a hand full of tights (he didn't), Sin slipped on his flesh-colored brass knuckles and too care of business.
