Card # 1.02
Bishop Hell def. Lord Nexus* with Hellfire(X2) Bishop Hell's debut was.. explosive. He went straight to his famous finisher, but apparently the referee had never seen it before, as he was too stunned to even call for the bell. Bishop Hell: You were simply the first, Lord Nexus. All things came from the Great Fires, and to the Great Fires they will return. Woe to all those who stand against my holy mission.
Rock Solid(Ricken Prince/Screw*****) def. Wind Riders(Rama/Tano**) when Ricken Prince pinned Tano with a Samoan Drop The Wind Riders once again showed fantastic teamwork, but their high flying offense was not enough to knock the monstrous Screw off his feet. The former slave took an absurd amount of punishment before finally making the hot tag to the Prince, who quickly dispatched Tano.
Backstage, in the Defenders locker room:
Star Warrior is pacing angrily, while Omega sits with almost zen-like stillness. The Code Enforcer is in the corner, lacing his boots in preparation of the match. Star Warrior: Total failure, that's what we were.. not a single victory. How could this happen? Thantos...
Omega: We have no one to blame but ourselves, son. Or perhaps I don't have as many matches left as I thought...
Code Enforcer: One battle does not win a war. Tonight is an opportunity...
Star Warrior: What? To beat on a glorified jobber with delusions of grandeur? I need to win some singles matches to get in line for the 1st title defense, maybe if I defeat...
Omega puts his hand on his son's shoulder to quiet him, then smiles Omega: We'll get there, son... looking to far ahead may well be one of our problems. Let's focus on the match at hand, titles take care of themselves if you win all your matches.
Star Warrior sighs heavily, but then nods. Father and Son walk over to the corner to go over some notes on their opponents with the Code Enforcer. Cronos Legends Title Semi-Finals

Thantos def. Exo-King** with the Masterlock Thantos was very impatient waiting for the King's entrance, and demanded he lie down for him, 'for the common good'. Exo-King thought about it for a few seconds, the got a huge pop as he flattened Thantos with a right cross. That was his only real offense, though. After the match, Thantos helped the big man to his feet and they left together.
Spike def. Hechilles*** with an Atomic Spike The match started out slowly, with both man feeling out the other. Hechilles seemed out of his element when Spike turned the match into a brawl, and slowly claimed control of the pace. Hechilles never really got in any offense. After the match, Exo-King charged the ring and bashed Hechilles in the back of the head with his septre, then locked in the Death Vise. I sickening crack could be heard at ringside as the King squeezed away. Powerhouse hit the ring for the save, but the damage was done.
Hechilles injured for 4 weeks with 2 cracked ribs Executioner def. Wolf with the Headsman Guillotine Wolf continues to struggle.. this one was basically a squash.
Exo-King joins Rex Hunter in the interview area Hunter: I'm here with the self-proclaimed King of Wrestling... why did you attack Hechilles earlier this evening.
Exo-King: I admire your gumption, servant. You will address me properly in the future, or this answer will be your last.
Hechilles and his friends claim to be 'above' the fray. There is no one that is above the fray.. you either support the King's cause, or you are a traitor. I think the lesson was well taught, don't you?
Hunter: You're not concerned with Powerhouse, those two are a match even for your strength.
Exo-King stares long at Hunter, who finally gives in with a roll of his eyes ... Your Grace?
Exo-King: There, was that so difficult? Even servants can be taught to behave in noble company. Powerhouse is strong, that is true. But they are not royalty. They do not have the divine right to rule, and the cleansing fire of the the church at their command. They will fall, as all my enemies do.
The King offers his hand for Hunter to kiss, who does so relcutantly, then leaves Hunter: No one can call that guy boring.... or sane. Back to the action!

Tonight, we're taking those titles, I'm really looking forward to getting off this rock and visiting home while we're touring the galaxy.
Hunter: Most of your countrymen favor Lord Nexus' method to yours and Pit Viper's. Why would you want to go home.
Solar Flare: To remind Titan that we don't need to hide behind a false shield of honor. We've fought off far worse than the likes of Krakan and his freak show. Once tthose back at home see our success, they'll remember their roots.
At that, Lord Nexus and TKO enter the area, and his starts talking to Solar Flare, he tone like that of a professor teaching a lagging student. The Paladins chose not to start a fight this day, but neither did they listen. Solar Flare: Take a long look at how you've done so far Nexus, and how we've done. That's all the answer you need.
After a tense moment, the Paladins head to the ring, while Nexus and TKO return to the locker room Cronos Legends Tag Team Title Match

Solar Flare did his best, but the 2 on 1 situation was too much, Moonstrike made a blind tag to his partner, and dropped Battering Ram on his head with a Titan Drop.... but the collapsed. Ram finished the job to win the title Omega/Star Warrior/Code Enforcer def. Society of Death(Krakan**/Mutant*/Khan) when Omega pins Mutant with a cross body block. The Code Enforcer once again had a scroll with him before the match, and told Krakan that 'the 2nd offense makes the punishment more severe'. While he didn't get a hold of him personally, Star Warrior laid a Nova Launch on him, only to have Mutant make the save. The Defenders dominated the match from the opening bell here, getting a much needed victory. Cronos Legends Title Match
