Incredible. I also like what looks to be the booklet cover. Not sure where you see that. There is a flyer for COTGonline in most pics though.

Love the Tauran pic, but wtf is up with all the tuxedos? Has Massif tried to appease Endgame by instituting a dress code?

There's more spoilers in what I'm about to write, but you should not be here if you don't want to get spoiled....
So about that last picture. No one asked Tom if it was Payback, but that was my first thought when I saw him. He just kept saying "This is Tauran's problem." He didn't (to my knowledge) say one way or another if it's a new character or existing. I got the impression it was a new character, but I could be wrong.
Anyway, about the eye. This guy is missing an eye. Tom didn't say how or why he lost it but he did say the guy refuses to wear an eye patch, so when you look at him you see his horribly disfigured eye socket. He said he debated on whether or not to show the socket but then he decided it'd be better left to imagination. I agree.
--- Now, out of spoilers and into theory....Tom said, something has gone wrong with Tauran's reverse aging. The art for Tauran shows him looking at his hands as if he's done something wrong. Perhaps Tauran was the cause of the loss of the eye? Perhaps IF it IS Payback, maybe that was enough to push Payback over the edge (i mean he was always a little 'out there' as a face guy). But then again it could NOT be. I think it's safe to assume that Tauran is still on Endgame's team and this guy is a heel. Perhaps a stunt friend of Drury's? I don't know. Again, just theorys. ---
- Yes, the Tricks pic is based on the Joker. Tom said he's going to act a lot 'sicker' in the ring. can't wait to see what happens there. How awesome is that pic going to be when it's colored?
- The new guy with the hat. We got very little info about him. Tom did say that this is not the art that will be used (and I do believe Pure Hatred/Periodically Happy went home with this sketch). He did say that when we learn more about him this picture would make sense. A magician?
- In case you missed the reference Swarm will be getting an upgrade and I do believe that Tom hinted (PH, Cman, MrV back me up) that Gryt would get a new card as well.
I was a little disappointed as I had read the name of the new edition wrong. I thought it was Marital Law and that The Betrayer would finally be legally allowed to marry. Oh well.

I am pretty sure Tom said the guy with the bad eye was a new character, but I was half in the bag when he said it. Kidding. PH did sneek out with the drawing for the Top Hat guy whoever that is going to be. Tom did say that Gryt was getting an update with new card which I think will be cool myself.

Just to confirm:
-that is indeed the flyer for COTG Online; Tom gave us some shwag. - Swarm is indeed getting an update to go along with Tricks. Tom hasn't rec'd the art from Darryl yet but he is definitely excited. The Swarm update questionwas one of the first things I asked him and jokingly I said that If swarm wasn't getting an update I was going to punch him in the face and storm out of there. - Gryt is getting an update. The art is done and Tom loves it. -We all thought that was Payback at first, but Tom said it was a new "problem for Tauran to solve." -We guessed a bit and I *believe* we got close to the answer, but it seems as though the reverse aging process is accelerating beyond Tauran's control. He's still on Endgame's side, but he's not operating at 100%. -The top hat and tails drawing is a prelim sketch of an existing character that will be taking on a new look in Martial Law. We threw out about a hundred gueses and Tom shot them down. Keep in mind, we were drinking so the guesses probably sounded like "Tristan! Daimyo! Betrayer! Um..Tristan? Did I say Tristan?"
Anyway, I liked the drawing and Tom generously let me keep it; I'll probably make an alt card with it after the set with the approved art comes out.
FINALLLY SOME MORE SPOILERS THAT GRANT HASN'T MENTIONED (he might not have heard all these actually):
-Tom said he came verrrry close to pulling the trigger on breaking up DWF, but that storyline has more to develop. He asked us what we thought of Mother Superior and then after we answered he said "WROOONG! YOURE ALL WRONG!" j/k -I asked him about downgrades. He said he didn''t think there were any in this set. -He laid out the basic premise of the set, and how each side will be vying hard for the titles; the heroes to prove their principles and the villains to make money and get power. But the MAIN conflict wil be between Endgame and Massif in order to (in Tom's words)" decide who is REALLY in charge of the company." -THE HUGE ONE..and i feel sorta bad saying it ..so I won't...BUT IT'S HUGE AND SHOCKING AND SLY DRURY IS IN SOME DEEP S***

That's jjust the beginning. one of the things we also talked about is that Tom will be able to give more expansive storylines now that PDF is an option for the handbook. (not the cards, just the handbook)

Hopefully regular handbooks will still be an option.......one of the best things about getting the game there is reading the handbook immediately.

Why do I get this feeling that after seeing the new art for Tricks, that Swarm's new art is probably going to resemble the Dark Knight? Well, Daryl Banks was a long time DC artist, so that's not that surprising... that's some very nice art!
