Hopefully regular handbooks will still be an option.......one of the best things about getting the game there is reading the handbook immediately. This is going to be a little controversial about this set I believe. ALso, please note, Tom has not made up his mind 100% about it. But the thought is, when you purchased the set, you'd get the Handbook IMMEDIATELY, via Digital File. Then the cards would be mailed out to you. So you'd be able to read it the moment you purchased it. A huge PLUS side, which anyone will have to agree with, is that a digital file gives Tom as much room as he wants to write whatever he wants! No formatting limits, no restrictions on scenes or dialogue. He can just type and put it out. THink about how much more in depth things will be. I love having handbooks, but I also see the plus of doing it digitally. Again, it's in the planning stages right now so it's not a lock so don't flip out...yet.

I'm all for more story, so digital would be fine with me.

-THE HUGE ONE..and i feel sorta bad saying it ..so I won't...BUT IT'S HUGE AND SHOCKING AND SLY DRURY IS IN SOME DEEP S*** For some reason I have the image of Drury sitting scared in the corner of an empty room while Epoch is breaking through the door with an axe. "Heeeeeeeeeerrrrre's Epoch!"

"Heeeeeeeeeerrrrre's Epoch!" That was my first thought as well. I'm hoping the guy with one eye could be a member of Blue Steele, who has come through the now open portal to Centra. Just a thought...

Well with Epoch's first card, if I were Drury I wouldn't be worried at all about Epoch. I'd send Sectarian after him and that would be the end of Epoch. If Epoch is too come back he better have a card to back it up!

Tom hasn't made up his mind and he's still working out the logisitcs (me personally I would go absolutely nuts if I could dl the manual, see all the new characters, and then have to wait a few days to get the cards). But he did say he loves the freedom it would give him to expand the storylines and characters.

Very cool stuff, so thanks to all the Cali posters here.
I will say I'm still kind of put off by what seems to be a rush to reverse age Tauran, but then again, I'm the guy with the 10-year story arcs, so don't mind me.
I really hope someone comes and does something to Sly Drury, either to make him interesting finally or to get rid of him altogether. He's my least favorite COTG character in recent memory, and not because of the way he's written -- it's the horrible record he has in my fed.
Probably looking forward to Tricks' update the most.

I kind of agree Trent, Im a little surprised. He may set the record for most cards for one person. I still have a funny feeling about the guy. Perhaps this process isn't what Tauran says and maybe their is a darker side and price he has to pay.

I wish Tauran was a little slower on his aging. That's a bit of an irritation. Tricks should be awesome.
