Jonny went on to explain that a limited release gives PHF the option of bringing any of those fighters back to their respective weight class roster should a need arise (such as a fighter being given a full release from his contract), but for all intents and purposes that it'd be best if they looked for another fight promotion to work for full-time. (As you can see, the fighters that took the brunt of the release were those created by Curt Ligot, mostly because of the fact that most of the characters he created weren't formatted correctly (moves with a level 1 potency being placed below either level 2 or level 3 potency moves on any given level, creating a lot of confusion for me), plus the fact that I want to keep a roster of at least 16 fighters in each weight class and I want to give some of those roster slots to either any new fighters I created or other fighters that I find in the future (no offense, Curt). I'm still keeping three of Curt's fighters, Shogun (Who is still the PHF Light Heavyweight champion), Iceman (who is still the PHF Middleweight champion), and Cosmic Crippler.) Akuma and Barnyard Brawler (aka Big Cock Murdock) have since asked for and were given their full release as they've both expressed a desire to return to wrestling full-time in the GWFZ.) |
