GWFX Deimos Perennial 01.01.2125 from Deimos Intergalactic Arena
Plethador vs. Scimitar Scimitar defeated Plethador with a DDT outside the ring; countout at 9:53 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: A hard fought match between these two sworn enemies. The enigmatic Animan Superstar (in his own mind) played to the sold out crowd as he gave Scimitar hell throughout the match. Plethador locked on the Suction Claw although he couldnt get a submission out of Scimitar. During the match two unknown aliens appeared at ringside. They seemed to be taking notes on the action in the ring. Scimitar pulls out a hard fought victory leveling the amphibian Animan with a DDT on the floor for a count out.
Rotunda vs. Shann-Ra Shann-Ra defeated Rotunda with a Spear from off the ropes at 10:21 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: The strange Aliens from the previous match stayed at ringside to watch and take note of this match as well.
This was a very entertaining match that started off with Rotunda being accompanied to the ring by her man Gryt. Gryt announced that Rotunda was dieting and getting in shape to become "pound for pound" the best Womens wrestler in the GWFX. Rotunda attempted some jumping jacks that shook the entire ring as Gryt encouraged her shouting "POUND FOR POUND, POUND FOR POUND!"
Shann-Ra took the big lady off her feet early in the match with MACHETE, however, Gryt slid into the ring and clotheslined Shann-Ra to the mat! Gryt tried his hardest to help Rotunda to her feet but Shann-Ra recovered quickly and got back on the attack. Rotunda countered a turnbuckle whip and prepared to hit THE FAT LADY SINGS but she missed! Shann-Ra quickly hit MACHETE in response but only got a two count! The match went on for several minutes and in the end Rotunda whipped Shann-Ra into the ropes and prepared to flatten her but Shann-Ra countered with a vicious spear that put the fat lady's shoulders down for the count!
Mother Superior vs. Sultana for the GWF Women's Championship Mother Superior defeated Sultana with a SERPENTS OF HYDRA at 7:13 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Sultana started with a quick offensive but made the mistake of taking the match outside where the champion nailed her in the face with a thrown chair. From there it was elementary as Mother Superior hit two consecutive SERPENTS OF HYDRA to retain her Womens strap.
Mother Superior won the GWF Women's Championship
Tanck vs. Mantis Mantis defeated Tanck with a "I Can See You" at 11:11 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Excellent match with the veteran Tanck giving the rookie sensation Mantis a hard match. The youngster managed to hang in there though and countered Tanck a couple of times with Prey Snare before finally scoring the victory with "I Can See You"
Leaders of the Pack vs. Frontal Assault Panther Warrior defeated Thraxx with an ANDROMEDA DROP at 8:33 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: This was a wild tag match! Once again the Aliens appeared at ringside in this match (the only match they werent at ringside for so far was the Womens Title Match) Frontal Assualt fought hard but they just couldnt match the Leaders agility in this match. Panther Warrior once again stood out and the crowd loved every moment he was in the ring. The match ended when Panther Warrior hit JUNGLE NIGHTS on Thraxx, Zygon broke up the pin and the ref then escorted him back to his corner. As he was distracted Malkuth and Panther hit the ANDROMEDA DROP on Thraxx to end the match.
- Cosmic Cage - Tricks vs. Payback for the GWF Heavy Metal Championship Payback defeated Tricks with an EXVENGE at 14:22 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: Awesomely brutal match! Both men used the cage to their advantage to batter their opponent. The Aliens watch the match though their attention seemed focused on Tricks alone. The added people watching didnt help Tricks as he pulled out nearly every trick in the book against Payback. Payback answered with brutal moves using tables and the cage itself. Finally after several minutes of bloodletting by both men Payback hits the EXVENGE to become the new GWFX Heavy Metal Champion!
Payback won the GWF Heavy Metal Championship
Bloodline vs. Encubus Encubus defeated Bloodline with a MAFFEI MASTERLOCK at 6:02 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Encubus makes short work of his former partner Bloodline with the MAFFEI MASTERLOCK, after the match a man wearing Thantos' ring gear stood on the entrance ramp seemingly tauting Encubus. Encubus had a look of shock and bewilderment on his face. The man finally walked back through the curtain and Encubus gave chase.
Ensor vs. Vidtek for the GWF Interplanetary Championship Ensor defeated Vidtek with a FDF Defender Drop at 9:43 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: The aliens appeared again this time they were focused on Vidtek as he challenged the Interplanetary Champion Ensor. Vidtek got in little offense as Ensor pretty much dominated the match on his way to a solid title defense.
Ensor won the GWF Interplanetary Championship
Twin Towers Of Doom vs. Titan Energy for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship Paralyze defeated Tristan with a PERMANENTLY PARALYZED at 8:46 Match Rating: 0.10 Match Notes: The Twin Towers of Doom pretty much squashed the Titans in this one. Paralyze manhandled Tristan as Aethran Overmaster watched in approval. The Aliens stood outside watching as well. Paralyze ends this one early with PERMANENTLY PARALYZED.... Nitro doesnt try to break up the pin...instead he just walks away and never looks back.
Twin Towers Of Doom won the Galaxian Tag Team Championship
Sly Drury vs. Swarm for the Galaxian Championship Swarm defeated Sly Drury with a VENOMOUS STINGER at 10:14 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Swarm was on fire in this bout! He came in determined to once again hold the GWFX Galactic Title and tonight he would not be denied. He immediately caught the Champ off guard with a spear from out of nowhere followed by several WASP TRAPS... Patch came in to try to interfere but Swarm caught him and gave him a noggin knocker with Drury! Swarm then hit the VENOMOUS STINGER for the three count to become the NEW GWFX Galactic Champion!
Swarm won the Galaxian Championship
Overall Card Rating: 2.81

Nice Team drafts. I don;t use them, but I'm interested in how Plethador & Scimitar works out, and Choppy Seas is a great name as is Pride and Honor (wish I had though of that for my team of Ensor & Pride).
So if I'm reading the results right, then Drury lost to Swarm correct? The match notes seem to contradict the short results.
Great over all card.
