Nice Team drafts. I don;t use them, but I'm interested in how Plethador & Scimitar works out, and Choppy Seas is a great name as is Pride and Honor (wish I had though of that for my team of Ensor & Pride). So if I'm reading the results right, then Drury lost to Swarm correct? The match notes seem to contradict the short results. Great over all card. Thanks for the kind words. You would be correct Drury lost by disqualification, cant believe I didnt catch that. It happens. |

Great work with your IC...Sly weaseled out of his title match with a DQ- BOOOOO! Things are shaping up here and I like it. I posted my first card of the year earlier and have planned out my 2nd one which the IC begins on!

Rotunda vs. Shann-Ra
Shann-Ra defeated Rotunda with a Snap Snare at 5:21
Match Rating: 0.10
Match Notes: Gryt brought Rotunda and had her do squat thrusts, she tried one and fell flat on her face causing the crowd to roar with laughter. Gryt struggled to help her to her feet. Tired of waiting Shann-Ra went after The Fat Lady and quickly took her down with a spinning leg lariat followed with a Snap Snare to end the match.
Gryt told Rotunda this is a minor setback and that before long she would be "Pound for Pound" The Greatest Female Wrestler In The Galaxy.
- Infinity Challenge Match -
Choppy Seas vs. Frontal Assault
Thraxx defeated Plethador with a powerbomb on the permacrete floor at 9:21
Match Rating: 3.00
Match Notes: This was nothing more than a prolonged torture session. First Zygon tormented Scimitar for a few moments until Plethador finally got tagged in. From there Frontal Assualt decimated Plethy with TRI-CLAW, POWER OF KROLL, and finally a powerbomb on the floor. Scimitar shook his head in disgust and then went to try and revive his dehydrated partner.
- Infinity Challenge Match -
Mantis vs. Gryt
Gryt defeated Mantis with a Muscle Buster at 8:42
Match Rating: 1.50
Match Notes: Mantis looked good in this bout but the more experience Gryt looked better. Gryt battled back from two Prey Snares and wore Mantis down with the STRONGMAN STRETCH before finishing him with the Muscle Buster to score the points for his team.
- Anivar speaks! -
Anivar is in the back talking with Phantasy he sees the floating vidcam hovering near them and begins to speak...
"Paralyze, tonight you will be the first to suffer the full force of my offensive. Your little buddy Rush... what he got was nothing. Tonight big man, you'll know why Im "The Enforcer" when I give you a public execution. The Gladiators new reign of terror is going to end early... I'll catch up with you later doll"
With that Anivar leaves to prepare for his match. Phantasy has a smile on her face like someone with a schoolgirl crush. Something catches her eye and the smile fades to a look of bewilderment. The camera pans over to catch a white/grey mist in the distance. Phantasy begins to walk over to it, she keeps going until she bumps into a man with blonde hair coming out of the mist from the other side.
"OH! Excuse me..."
"No no my dear girl, please pardon me..."
The man eyes glow red for a brief second as he gestures with his hand...the camera instantly goes to static.
- Infinity Challenge Match -
Titan Energy vs. Pride & Honor
Tristan defeated Malkuth with a TITAN POWER at 7:21
Match Rating: 2.50
Match Notes: Malkuth and Bloodline just couldnt get it in gear tonight as Tristan gave them fits. Tristan hits ARCANA on Malkuth but Bloodline comes in to break up the pin. While the ref ushered Bloodline back outside Tristan and Nitro hit Malkuth with TITAN POWER for the victory.
- Infinity Challenge Match -
Panther Warrior vs. Vidtek
Panther Warrior defeated Vidtek with a JUNGLE NIGHTS at 11:35
Match Rating: 3.50
Match Notes: Panther Warrior shows everyone why he is considered to be the top star in the Infinity Challenge. He clearly dominated Vidtek is this match and got the win after several JUNGLE NIGHTS.
Havoc vs. Aethran Overmaster
Havoc defeated Aethran Overmaster with a Whiplash clothesline at 13:22
Match Rating: 3.50
Match Notes: This match was a huge slugfest! Both men beat the living hell out of one another leveling one another with spears and clotheslines. The match spilled outside where both men rammed one another into tables. Finally Havoc manages to catch AOM off guard with the Whiplash clothesline to get the pin.
Anivar vs. Paralyze
This match ended in a disqualification (Anivar rams Paralyze into the post over and over) at 10:09
Match Rating: 1.50
Match Notes: Paralyze dominated most of the match and hit Anivar several times with HEART TRANSPLANT but he would not stay down. The match spilled outside where Anivar rammed Paralyze's head into post over and over prompting the ref to call the disqualifcation.
Two members of Sleeper Cell hit the ring and began to viciously club Paralyze unmercifully. Anivar joined in the assualt pummelling Paralyze as the other two battered him with their crowbars. Anivar and Sleeper Cell raised their arms in victory.
The GalactiTron showed Aethran Overmaster trying to kick down the dressing room door that has been locked with chains and padlocks. Anivar gave a wicked chuckle as he watched. He grabbed the mic...
"One down, two to go..."
- The Strongest Alliance -
Backstage Swarm and Endgame are discussing their tag match tonight, they see the vidcam coming to them...
Endgame: Tonight we align to face the challenge of Commissioner Drury's legion of minions...
Swarm politely interupts Endgame...
Swarm: What my partner is trying to say is that tonight he and I are going to walk into that ring, stand face to face with one big red Jackass from some fed that doesnt matter and another Jackass with arms and legs coming out his head, neck, shoulders, and ass... Drury thinks he has assembled a formidable alliance... well tonight that alliance faces the strongest alliance to ever grace the GWFX. Vapordome get ready to feel the sting!
Endgame & Swarm vs. Paganax & Symbiosis
Endgame defeated Paganax when Bishop Hell interferes and smashes Endgame with a chair. at 14:33
Match Rating: 2.50
Match Notes: Endgame and Swarm indeed stood strong in the match. Endgame dominated Paganax throughout the match and hit the ULTIMA LEAP not once but twice. Symbiosis made the save both times... the ref escorted Symbiosis back to his corner as Swarm hit and assisted VENOMOUS STINGER on Paganax! Endgame went for the cover but was attacked by a man who looked like the legendary Bishop Hell! Paganax recovered and climbed to the top rope and went for a flying cross body but Endgame rolled through and covered Paganax! Paganax kicked out and the match spilled outside where Bishop Hell nailed Endgame in the head with a steel chair! The ref quickly called for the bell! Drury's security guards fired their rifles at the ring allowing his men to retreat to the back.
