…In the weeks and months since the end of 2120, The Ravager Mothership had become all but deserted, save for the Loyalist Ravager Troopers who gladly chose to follow the Ancient One’s genocidal plots. However, on this night the Mothership was inundated with life as both The Pantheon of the White and The Black Gathering had brought along a large amount of steadfast soldiers. On one side of the great-enclosed battlefield sat Loyalist Ravager Troopers and the large portion of Godsend’s Flagellant Fanatics who had not yet been sacrificed for his own selfish goals. And on the other side of the arena sat the greatest alliance of societies, customs, and cultures that Centra had ever seen in New Ravager Army volunteers, combined with the always stalwart Centra Guard, and accompanied by the ferocious yet sacrificially loyal Tribesmen of Primus. Unlike the Battles of 2120, there were no citizens in the stands on this night; only creatures of all sorts ready to fight and die at the drop of a hat. With each faction in charge of keeping itself in check, and tensions running perilously and unprecedentedly high, the perennially calm and sheltering Ravager Mothership suddenly felt as volatile as the core of Planet Primus. Unquestionably, new battle lines had been drawn, and the entire face of the Battle for Centra had changed…

Primus Rising vs. The Horrors of Hell
The high stakes of the night were immediately apparent as Primus Rising took a tremendously monumental beating, but kept fighting back, actually coming only milliseconds away from defeating Darkseed! Nightmare finally ended the battle with the 5th MINDBENDER of the fight on Jakyll.

The Others vs. Zombie Nation
The Others’ alleged seamless tag skills were no where to be found for the first few minutes, but Omni and Odyssey soon began to flow more cohesively, allowing Odyssey to put Noxious down with an imploding senton bomb!

Hustler & Scorch vs. NuBorn Destruction
Hustler and Tekaro brawl right away, with Hustler winning and tagging in Scorch. Scorch gets isolated by Warfare and Tekaro, who hits the RING OF DESTRUCTION! Hustler tries to break the pin, but gets admonished by the ref, allowing Tekaro to bust Scorch open and defeat him with a blast from his shield!
VICTORIOUS: NUBORN DESTRUCTION (ACQUIRE THEIR FOES ESSENCE FRAGMENT AND ADVANCE TO THE FINALS)

…Although supposed to be dressed in the standard New Ravager Army’s faded blue fatigues, Nemean entered the arena wearing a shimmering uniform and a gigantic plumed helmet! Most of the spectators did not take too kindly to this, but a lot of New Ravager Volunteers loved that Nemean would have the nerve to wear such a ridiculous outfit into such a serious battlezone!

Nemean gets carved up by The Possessor, but still manages to put Gheist away with a reverse DDT!

…Shepard seemed to have a mysterious aura about him as he entered the arena. The Vagabond Priest had always been enigmatic, but somehow on this night he seemed altogether…different…

Shepard vs. Hybrid
After an endless war of attrition, Hybrid crashes off the top rope, allowing Shepard to get the quick roll-up!

Murdok © vs. Aspin Northstar
Aspin was able to attempt the FLASH OF BRILLIANCE early, but missed! Murdok took over, giving Aspin a massive beating, but was unable to defeat him, even with a POWER OF THE PLAGUE! The Soldier of Prophecy fired back but was eventually forced to submit to the CENTRA TAKEOVER.
VICTORIOUS: MURDOK (MURDOK’S TOMB RETAINS THE BATTLEFIELD TITLE)

Flatliner won a pitched battle for his squad when he buried Gabriel with a Syndicate Suplex.

The Horrors of Hell vs. The Others vs. NuBorn Destruction
All 3 teams battled back and forth savagely, with The Others predictably baring the brunt of all the punishment. Eventually, Omni and Odyssey had become punching bags, with The Horrors and NuBorn Destruction constantly fighting over a pinfall on them. It wasn’t until the grueling 40-minute mark of the battle that Tekaro pinned Omni with an Antilian Atomic Drop! With The Others laid to waste, NuBorn Destruction handled Darkseed, with Tekaro leveling him with a spear shot and capturing the deciding fall!
VICTORIOUS AND NEW TAG ESSENCE BEARERS: NUBORN DESTRUCTION

…The outcome was unbelievable yet horribly expected. NuBorn Destruction had stood unshakeable in 2120, and were now more determined than ever to bring Nicodemus’ plans to fruition. It only made sense that the most feared of all squads on the battlefield would come out of the chaotic conflict victorious.

The Tag Essence fragments were laid in the center of the ring. Moments later, a bright blue glow swallowed the whole ring save for silhouettes of Warfare and Tekaro. As all of the spectators turned their heads from the radiance the glow began to gradually fade, revealing Tekaro and Warfare standing tall! Tekaro was covered in glowing tribal tattoos, and Warfare’s eyes blazed blue as cobalt smoke geysered from his mask with each heaving breath. With their enemies on this night routed and crushed and the Tag Essence Championships united and around their waists, Tekaro and Warfare had effectively proved themselves as Nicodemus’ most powerful and most dangerous force on the fields yet agan!

…With half of his plan complete and a decisive victory for The Black Gathering already hammered out, Nicodemus stood beside Godsend proudly as they awaited their time to do battle. Out in the arena, the massive Elimination Chamber that had hung over the ring the entire night finally began its descent. Slowly, the great blackness of The Chamber swallowed the ring, and the apathetic chain and steel structure was set in place.

Knowing that their entrance order had been randomly determined, Godsend turned to his ‘compatriot’ with a wicked sneer on his face.

Godsend: We’re allies now, Ancient. But you and I BOTH know of the unfinished business between us. I want there to be no confusion or misunderstanding here…if I get the opportunity, or if it comes down to it, I will not hesitate to take you out, grandpa!

Before Nicodemus could respond, Godsend was beckoned to the ring. It was time for him to be confined to an interior pod.

Godsend: (exiting with a sneer) See you on the battlefield, Ancient.

Godsend entered the mammoth Elimination Chamber and was confined to an interior pod, just as Ventross, Paganax, and Avarice had been. This meant that only two warriors remained to enter, and these men, Nicodemus and Esperanto, would begin the battle. The Ancient One entered The Chamber first, and waited stoically for his foe. Esperanto arrived through The Pantheon entrance, bottle of Elixir tight in hand, and his nerve as solid as steel.

But the Sheriff barely made it ten feet down the aisle when from behind him, out of The Pantheon sector, charged The Painmaster and Mr. Bloat! The Painmaster quickly lassoed Esperanto by the neck as Bloat crashed into him, pinning him to the ground with his girth, producing a despicable homemade razor fork, and carving Esperanto’s face with it! As Painmaster kicked at the Sheriff’s ribs, Bloat jabbed deep gouges into Espo’s face with chilling gusto! Esperanto was helpless beneath the crushing weight of Bloat’s horrific attack until his fellow Regulators chased the House of Pain off, but the damage had been done, and Nicodemus had once again deployed a devious plan successfully.

Enraged, Ventross began banging on the walls of his pod, trying to get at Nicodemus, but it was no use. Esperanto staggered to his feet, already bathed in his own blood, and lucky to have not had his face sliced clean off by the odious Mr. Bloat! With the help of Hustler and Scorch, Esperanto made his way to the steps of the Elimination Chamber. Esperanto looked Nicodemus straight in the eyes, clearly unfit to do battle much less enter The Elimination Chamber, and pounded back his entire bottle of Elixir! Shattering the glass on the Chamber floor with a forceful slam, Esperanto let out a half drunk-half passed out battle cry and charged in, taking the fight right to Nicodemus and beginning the Elimination Chamber Match!

ONE ESSENCE CHAMPIONSHIP
ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCH
Nicodemus vs. Ventross vs. Avarice vs. Esperanto vs. Paganax vs. Godsend
-Esperanto stood toe-to-toe with Nicodemus, even producing a hidden bottle of elixir from his boot and taking a swig in the hopes of recovering, but was eventually felled by a Commander Clothesline and eliminated at 4:30!
-PAGANAX, powered up by the tremendous suffering of Primus Rising earlier in the night, storms into the fray at the 5:00 minute mark and bulldozes the awaiting Nicodemus!
-GODSEND enters the fight at the 10:00 minute mark and rescues Nicodemus, attacking the powered up Heathen Chief!
-VENTROSS enters the battle at the 15:00 minute mark, joining Paganax in an attack on Nicodemus!
-All four soldiers brawl in the center of the ring, with Godsend and Paganax pairing off. Paganax charges Godsend, but the demon ducks and sends Paganax into the steel floor outside! Godsend follows Paganax, but the Heathen Chief outsmarts the serpent, hooking his legs and catapulting him through a glass retaining pod, shattering both the pod and Godsend into bits!
-Nicodemus sees Godsend go through the pod and charges Paganax as he climbs into the ring. But Paganax launches Nicodemus in the air out of nowhere and brings him down with a PAGAN VOID, eliminating Nicodemus at the 16:43 mark of the battle!
-AVARICE enters the battle at the 20:00 minute mark as the last entrant, and goes right for Godsend, attempting to take advantage of The Pantheon’s 1 on 3 advantage and shut The Gathering out completely!
-The severely beaten Godsend makes a mistake very quickly and Avarice capitalizes, grinding his spiked armband into Godsend’s face, tearing him open, and forcing the demon to submit at 20:41! The Gathering has been shut out! The One Essence WILL go to The Pantheon of the White! But who will be the standard bearer?
-All 3 Warriors of the White battle ferociously for the Essence, and Paganax eventually catches Avarice in the Face Smothering! Avarice looks to be fading but elbows himself out and hits the ropes. But The Blackheart comes charging right back into a Roaring Elbow from the Heathen Chief and gets knocked totally unconscious! Avarice is eliminated at the 25:50 mark!
-ONLY PAGANAX AND VENTROSS REMAIN!
-Although allies now, there is no love lost between the Heathen Chief and Ventross, and so both soldiers tear each other apart! The chain walls and steel floors of The Chamber are put to extremely good use by both combatants, as either tried desperately to gain an edge over the other! At one point, both men were busted open badly and leaning up against the same portion of chain wall, taking turns slamming each others heads into the steel, seeing who would go down first! Eventually, it was Ventross who faltered first, allowing Paganax to hit him with a Devastating Chokeslam on the steel outside and eliminating Ventross at 33:24! Although Paganax was the victor and Ventross had succumbed, neither soldier had any right to be proud or ashamed. It was a bloody conflict of endurance, and both men had endured!
VICTORIOUS AND NEW ONE ESSENCE BEARER: PAGANAX

…The Tribesmen in attendance went absolutely berserk as Paganax was declared the victor! The Ravager Referee quickly handed Paganax all the fragments of the Essence and helped a still hurting Ventross from The Chamber. Covered from head to toe in his and others blood, the Heathen Chief placed all of the Essence fragments before him in the center of the ring and let out a thunderous roar as the entire Elimination Chamber was consumed in a blinding orange light! As the glow subsided, Paganax was revealed to be completely recharged and healed already, not to mention twice as large as usual!
With another thunderous roar, Paganax threw his arms into the air, put his head back, and filled the entire Chamber with soot, smoke and fire! As his brethren went wild, and his allies let out a sigh of relief, the Heathen Chief stood tall in the center of the Elimination Chamber, geysering smoke, belching flames, and wearing the united One Essence Championship!

THE SCENE: MOUNT RAGNAROK, PLANET PRIMUS

Standing tall, high above the thousands of his gathered brethren, the Heathen Chief let out a mighty and almost majestic roar and stretched his massive arm forward, holding the intact One Essence Championship before him.

[glow=orange,2,300]Paganax:[/glow](roaring at the title) Show to me those who would challenge for the One Essence!

Asthe volcanic winds of Primus picked up heavily, the faceplate of the One Essence began to glow, and like an illuminated crystal ball, began to show the Fire Beast what he desired. But the Heathen Chief was surprised, as the hazy kaleidoscopic images began to form into two separate figures! With new found interest, Paganax glared into the faceplate deeper, as the faces of both Nicodemus and Godsend appeared out of the fog!

Immediately realizing the task he faced, Paganax dropped his arm back to his side, pointed his face to the orange ashy sky and let out a roar. As his Tribesmen buzzed curiously far beneath him, the Heathen King stretched his arms out wide, ignited, and erupted into a gigantic, crimson, Essence-fueled fireball!

THE SCENE: THE ROC HEADQUARTERS, CENTRA PRIME

His heavy metal and leather boots trod forcefully across the steel and linoleum of the hallway. The bright and surgical lights above him glared brilliantly across his steadfastly moving feet, seeming to give the old and worn leggings new and glorious life. The reflections on the boots might have been a reflection of the man wearing them.

Although moving with a slight but noticeable limp, the man in the boots was now finding new hope and new life in the early cycles of 2121. Finally approaching his destined heavy and steel door, the man punched a familiar yet somehow refreshing code into the panel beside the portal and watched as the frame slowly slid open.

With the opening of the door, all of the faces on the other side looked towards him. He strode confidently into chrome room, looking around as if it were the first time he had ever seen its contents. Finally, his eyes settled to the one figure in the room he was not expecting to see...Ventross. For a few moments, as he took account of Ventross, Nemean, The Others, The Regulators, The Cathedral, Aspin Northstar, Avarice, and Lance At-Las, all of the assembled members of The Pantheon of the White also took account of him. It had been a few cycles since they had seen him out of a hospital bed. Finally, after a few moments of unexpectedly awkward silence, it was the Vagabond Priest, Shepard, who stepped forward to greet him first.

Shepard: Welcome back...we've been waiting for you, Aegis.

THE SCENE: A SMALL AND DARK CHAMBER RIGHT OFF THE COMMAND DECK, THE RAVAGER MOTHERSHIP

Illuminated eerily by the single, buzzing, wide screen in front of him, Nicodemus waited patiently for his most trusted and most destructive soldiers to arrive on the scene. He did not wait long as Tekaro and Warfare, carrying the Tag Essence Championships, and Hybrid, following behind them, soon joined him within the chamber.

Nicodemus: (not turning from the screen) Thank you all for being so prompt, as usual. I have completed it. I was able to delve deeply into the powers of your Tag Essence, and as such, it is literally a piece of the Essence of Centra, Fate Incarnate. It is inextricably connected to the powers of the Essence, and is inextricably connected to all of us.

[glow=navy,2,300]Warfare:[/glow] (gasp) May we (gasp) see it?

Nicodemus: Indeed you may.

Nicodemus pressed a button beneath the screen and waited for it to buzz to life.

Nicodemus: When it strikes 12, The Final Battle will be upon us. Right now, it is reading 4. (as the image finally comes into view) I present...The Doomsday Clock.

…Readying themselves for battle within their designated Staging Area, the Pantheon of the White gathered around, solemnly discussing and warily planning. For, with every single possible odd placed against them, and most importantly the One Essence Bearer, all of the brave warriors consisting of the Pantheon save one could not possibly imagine how they would stop the Black Gathering from obtaining the One Essence and dominating the Battle for Centra However, where there is hope there is a way. The Heathen King still held hope, and he most certainly had planned a way…

Aspin Northstar vs. Hybrid
Aspin used his agility to overcome a brutal beating and defeat Hybrid with a backflip bicycle kick!

In a pitched battle, The Horrors reign supreme once more after Nightmare’s MIND BENDER on Exodus.

Hustler and Scorch come out overly aggressive, eventually being disqualified when The Gathering portion of the arena began to get hostile at Hustler’s overtly unnecessary brawling tactics!
VICTORIOUS: THE SHOCK SYNDICATE BY DQ

…Shepard waits unwillingly for Aegis, but Aegis appears with Primus Rising, explaining that Murdok declared that the only way to win the First Blood Battle was to spill blood, but that he did not specify WHOSE blood had to be spilled! Shepard is in disbelief as Aegis explains that Primus Rising, in order to sacrifice for their Chief AND aid the ROC and Cathedral, had volunteered to fight with both he and Shepard!

Before Shepard could consent, Paganax himself made the decision by appearing at ringside and ordering Primus Rising to attack! In a flash, primus Rising leapt upon their own allies, and the First Blood Battle was underway, though not how Murdok could have ever intended!

FIRST BLOOD BATTLE
Aegis vs. Shepard
In a chaotic, strange, and brutal battle that saw the Pantheon soldiers unsure of whom to cheer for, except for the Tribesmen in the audience who just cheered for the bloodshed in general, Aegis delivered a Centra Spinebuster to Jakyll through a table! The table shattered and splintered, slicing Jakyll and spilling his blood!
VICTORIOUS: AEGIS

…As Mr. Bloat and The Painmaster made their way to the ring with disgusting and arrogant grins on their faces, Hustler and Scorch charged out from the Black Gathering sector up behind them and attacked! Getting Bloat and Painmaster back for their actions at the last battle and evening up the odds a bit, Hustler delivered a Curb Jaw to Bloat on the steel arena floor as Scorch leveled Painmaster with THE TRAILBLAZER! Their work done, Hustler & Scorch dragged the House of Pain to the ring, tossed them inside, and let Esperanto go to work!

HANDICAP MATCH
Esperanto vs. Mr. Bloat & The Painmaster
Esperanto capitalizes on his shaken opponents, putting Bloat in trouble, but the numbers game is too much and Esperanto is nearly suffocated by Bloat’s CRUEL AND UNUSUAL submission choke.
VICTORIOUS: MR. BLOAT & THE PAINMASTER

The NRA started off well by easily disposing of Rotwurm, but Murdok hit the ring, and together with Gheist’s trickery, was able to eliminate Odyssey and Ventross! Nemean bravely and grandly stormed the ring, putting Gheist in serious trouble, but eventually succumbed to a SOUL SLAYER, leaving only an outnumbered Omni to be submitted to Murdok’s devastating CENTRA TAKEOVER!
VICTORIOUS: MURDOK’S TOMB (RETAINS THE BATTLEFIELD TITLE)
--Nemean’s neck appeared to once again be injured as he rolled from the ring

…As both General Rankor and Avarice stood in the ring, the Traitorous One looked a bit more miserable than usual, giving Avarice dirty looks. But as Avarice put his hood down and locked eyes with the General, he shrugged, smirked, and wryly said “No money…no Blackheart.”

Avarice vs. General Rankor
Both warriors had no problems tearing into each other as their furious battle raged back and forth all over the ringside area. Both soldiers were busted open, but Avarice had no chance to become enraged as Rankor stayed on him, eventually making the Blackheart pass out by declaring him GUILTY OF TREASON!
VICTORIOUS: GENERAL RANKOR

…Paganax stood isolated, glaring across the ring at both Godsend and Nicodemus. But as the Heathen Chief handed off his Essence Championship, he couldn’t help but notice the wary glances that his opponents, alleged ‘allies’, gave each other. He recognized the looks well from his long alliance with General Rankor. Much more intelligent than anyone gave him credit for, the savage Molten King knew that if he wanted to leave this battlefield with the One Essence, his only hope was to drive the rift between his opponents into full-blown war…

The bell rang and neither Nicodemus nor Godsend charged. Immediately, both men began trying to convine the other to charge first, but once again Paganax made the decision as he charged them, knocking Nicodemus from the ring with a gigantic charging boot and basically taking him out of the rest of the battle! In an unreal display of dominance, Paganax shrugged of all of Godsend’s offense and spiked him headfirst into the canavs with a crushing PAGAN VOID for the glorious victory!
VICTORIOUS AND STILL ONE ESSENCE BEARER: PAGANAX

…The Tribesmen in the arena began tearing up the stands with excitement as the entirety of the crowd stood in disbelief! The most shocked man in the arena was Nicodemus as he crawled back into the ring and stood, his yellow eyes wide within his fishbowl helmet. The Heathen Chief raised his arms into the air and sneered, and quickly Nicodemus exited the ring, knowing what was about to come. No sooner had Nicodemus escaped the ring before Paganax erupted into flames and smoke, letting out a majestic roar, and firmly establishing his place as not only Heathen Chief, but One Essence Bearer!

Barely escaping the glorious fireball that was now Paganax, a groggy and disoriented Godsend stumbled his way up the Black Gathering deployment aisle, bumping into Nicodemus. With a threatening hiss and a slight ripple of Nuclear energy, the Ancient One grabbed Godsend by the shoulder and brought his ear close.

Nicodemus: (venomously) We need to talk!

With that, Nicodemus pushed Godsend away and, taking one final glance at the seemingly unstoppable Molten King, headed back into the Black Gathering staging area. With all of the odds stacked in their favor, the Gathering had still failed their most important mission on this night. And Nicodemus was furious because of it…

Great win for Paganax!

That was a pretty sly move on Aegis' part, getting Primus Rising involved. Murdok retained Battlefield control though so it could prove to be a bad thing for Aegis.
