So I found my CPC notebook the other night and it really inspired me to start playing my CPC fed again. My promotion has been played from 2109 to April of 2112. So pretty early on but it has a nice history to it.
I've been working on trying finding the right number of matches for my Goldmine shows. I started at 6 but that seemed to lead to a lot of repeat matches. So I've dropped down to 4 but I have a feeling it's going to be hard to book everyone consistently. So if worse comes to worse I'll try 5 matches per card.
Before we get to the first show I'll get you updated on the title history and the current feuds going on. I'm not totally sure how much I'll update this. My GWF is still my No. 1 priority but I'd like to maybe throw a CPC show out there once a week. Maybe 2.
My booking style for the CPC is more modern. Feature level matches up all the time. A few title matches on television but the really big matches are saved for PPV.
So hope you all enjoy.

Feuds and Storylines:
Colossus vs. Jack of Diamonds: Jack of Diamonds big moment was short lived as a mere month and 19 days later he was defeated by Colossus for the CPC Heavyweight Championship. Jack of Diamonds has been struggling with the loss and moving on. The rematch clause is in effect and they'll be facing off at the Road to Glory PPV in May. Raven has also been lurking on the outskirts of this feud pointing out that he was never given a rematch for the championship.
the StormTroopers vs. Penthouse Punks This hasn't been a heated feud or anything. The Punks have earned a title shot against the StormTroopers and they've been telling everyone that will listen that they're going to become the 4 time CPC Tag Team Champions. The StormTroopers for their part have been complaining about the lack of attention they've received as the champions. They feel they're playing 4th fiddle to the CPC "golden boy" teams of the Troubleshooters, Espionage and the Penthouse Punks. The fans seem to be resonating with the StormTroopers as they continue to make successful title defenses against the top teams in the CPC.
the Troubleshooters vs. the Lower World About 2 weeks ago these teams had a match that ended in DQ. The Lower World got the better of the Troubleshooters during the post match antics. This led to Death's Head giving Phantasy a piledriver on the concrete floor to the horror of everyone. The Troubleshooters have vowed revenge and have been attacking the Lower World at every opportunity. Phantasy is out for an unknown length of time due to a severe concussion and strained neck muscles.
Mace vs. Grunge Pretty much the standard booklet feud.
the Dominator vs. Grunge Last week Grunge broke a guitar over the head of the Dominator and said he only cares about Mace. The Dominator is said to be looking for revenge.
Angst Has been suffering a losing streak lately and he hasn't been taking it well. Angst is starting to show the stress of his up and down CPC career.

CPC Goldmine #14: 4/3/2112
Hosts are Qualitar and Trent Lawless
The camera zooms in backstage. Grunge is out on the floor and the Dominator is walking away.
Qualitar: Welcome to another episode of CPC Goldmine. We've got a big show for you tonight.
Lawless: That's right! We've got Kati, the Samoan Warrior defending the CPC Special Matches Championship against Mace. If you ask me we're in for a new champion. Kati's had a great run as champion but this is the end of the line. Mace has been on a role since he showed up in the CPC back in January and it's time to taste his first CPC gold!
Qualitar: We've also got the Penthouse Punks vs. the Lower World. The Masked Marvels vs. the Z-Men and Dynamo vs. Indigo.
A video package begins to play.
Jack of Diamonds hits the Jacked Up on Raven and jumps on top. The ref slides into place and counts the 1...2...3!!! The crowd explodes and Jack of Diamonds looks stunned. The ref hands him the CPC Heavyweight Championship and a tear filled Jack clutches the belt to his chest.
Jack: That was the best night of my life. All the injuries, all the setbacks and all the disappointments? They all became worth it in that one moment. I spent all those years in the GWF. Just battling in the opening matches and picking up wins. And no one... no one seemed to care. But now... now I was the CPC Heavyweight Champion. I was at the top of the mountain.
Colossus hits Jack with a flying cross body block and gets the 1...2...3 and wins the CPC Heavyweight Champion.
Jack: Boy, the Royal Rumble was a hard night to take. I had just started my reign as champion and it was over already. 1 month and 19 days. Being the Heavyweight Champion has a way of getting in your blood. You begin to crave it after getting a taste. You feel naked the first time you have to walk out to the ring and you don't have that big title belt around your waist.
The Road to Glory intro plays.
Jack: Road to Glory is my chance to regain the CPC Heavyweight Championship. If I fail... who knows when I'll get another shot. Colossus is a tough man but I know I can beat him. I have to beat him if I ever want to hold the CPC Heavyweight Championship for any length of time. I have no choice but to succeed.
Dynamo d. Indigo w/ the Muscle Ripper Rating: *
CPC Heavyweight Champion Colossus and the Penthouse Punks walk down to the ring. Colossus grabs the mic.
Colossus: Now, I have to say. That was a really touching video we saw at the start of the show. I was so touched I even teared up a little backstage.
Colossus adjusts the CPC Heavyweight Championship belt on his shoulder.
Colossus: Now, let's deal with reality here. Jack of Diamonds, you were the CPC Heavyweight Champion. WERE being the word. You can talk about regaining this belt as much as you want. But the simple fact of the matter is that you can't beat me. I dominated you at the Royal Rumble PPV Jack. I barely broke a sweat when I beat you. All that work just so you could get destroyed by a superior wrestler like me. I would suggest after our rematch that you just resign yourself to wrestling for the InterStellar Championship. This championship belt isn't going anywhere and no one in the CPC is going to take it from me.
The Penthouse Suite music hits and all three members pound fists and head to the back.
the Lower World d. the Penthouse Punks w/ the Funeral March Rating: **1/2
The Troubleshooters come out of the crowd but security is ready for them this week. Security keeps both teams apart and successfully herds them towards the back.
Backstage:
Talisman has set up a pseudo church in the lockerroom. Cassandra's Army wanders into the area by mistake.
Talisman: Welcome brothers and sisters! Welcome to the mobile temple of the True Way!
Powerhouse: Temple? It looks like you stole the shower curtains!
Cassandra, Hammer and Powerhouse burst out laughing. Angst looks less amused.
Talisman: Hahaha! You're a very funny man Powerhouse. Can I interest any of you in a True Way book?
Hammer: Nah. Like all of wrestling's elite I worship Paan, the GOAT GOD!!!
::Hammer makes little horns with his fingers. Powerhouse laughs and slaps him on the back. They walk off. Angst stays for a moment.::
Angst: ... I'll take one...
Talisman: Here you go my good man. If you have any questions about what you read you know where to find me.
Angst: Thanks...
::Angst walks away.::
Z-Men d. the Masked Marvels w/ the Death Be Not Proud
Trent Lawless is in the backstage with Mace.
Lawless: Mace is just moments away from facing off with Kati, the Samoan Warrior for the CPC Special Matches Championship. I just want you to know that I put my money on you!
Mace: Who cares. The facts are simple in my mind. I am a GWF legend. I was in the greatest tag team in GWF history. We wore the belts more times than I can remember. And then that punk Dreggs had to get a big head and I was saddled with that loser Grunge in that stupid Disorder X tag team. I came to the CPC because I was promised opportunity as a singles wrestler. And tonight is a chance for me to realize my dream as a singles wrestler. Now, this Kati guy has been on a real tear as the Special Matches Champion I hear.
Lawless: Since September, 2110 if you must know.
Mace: Whatever. I remember Kati from his GWF days. He was a listless bum who never amounted to anything. I think the winner is very obvious here. GWF Legend or GWF bum? You decide. Now out of my way geek, I've got a belt to win.
Lawless: Hey, the ladies love coming into the Zone of Lawlessness just so you know!
Main Event: CPC Special Matches Championship Match: Mace d. Kati, the Samoan Warrior (c) w/ a slam into cage to win the belt
The show ends with Mace celebrating inside of the cosmic cage with his newly won CPC Special Matches Championship.

CPC Goldmine #15: 4/10/2112
Hosts are Qualitar and Trent Lawless
Qualitar: Welcome to CPC Goldmine. Tonight the Troubleshooters take on Espionage in our main event.
Lawless: There's some bad blood there from Espionage revealing the Troubleshooters gambling debts last year. But this time around the Troubleshooters are more worried with the Lower World and their injured manager Phantasy.
Qualitar: This will be one of the first times that we've seen the Troubleshooters out there without Phantasy. It will be interesting to see how it effects them. We've also got Jack of Diamonds taking on Talisman and Angst facing Talon.
Lawless: I think those are two easy wins for Jack and Angst.
Qualitar: And the CPC Cruiserweight Championship will be on the line as Gila makes his first title defense against Comedy.
Lawless: I think we're looking at two title changes in a row here on the Goldmine. Gila had an amazing run to win the belt but I think his luck runs out tonight.
Qualitar: First up we've got another video looking at Jack of Diamonds as he prepares to face Colossus at our Road to Glory PPV coming up in May.
A video package begins to play.
Various pictures of Magnus Colby cycle.
Jack: Magnus Colby. Of course I've had my problems with the man. Who hasn't in this industry? ... but... Magnus for all his faults... he loves wrestling. When wrestling was banned he fought the system. He ran shows underground and guys like me. We still have our houses and a life because Magnus was giving us a place to earn a paycheck. And he's given all of us a chance to shine in the CPC. He signed a kid that was amounting to nothing in the GWF and then he gave him the chances to blossom into a main eventer. So yeah, I've had my disagreements with Magnus Colby and I still do. But I respect what the man is doing for wrestling and what he's done for me. I intend to make the CPC my home for the rest of my career.
Angst d. Talon w/ a full nelson suplex Rating: **
Talisman and Indigo are backstage in their mobile church.
Talisman: I would like to congratulate Angst on ending his losing streak just a few minutes ago. I hope you see that even just a little bit of reading of the True Way can make a huge difference in anyone.
Talisman puts his arm around Indigo.
Talisman: Now, on to some True Way matters. This new CPC Cruiserweight division is rip for the taking. And you're looking at Indigo. The prototype of what a CPC cruiserweight will be. He's fast, he's young and he's talented. Gila needs to watch out. When we secure that title shot your days as champion are numbered.
Indigo: I can't think of a better way to draw people into the True Way. They will see the kind of man and athlete the True Way produces.
Indigo jingles the donation box.
Indigo: And maybe it'll get some more donations.
CPC Cruiserweight Championship Match: Gila (c) d. Comedy w/ the Gut Check (1st defense) Rating: *3/4
Trent Lawless is backstage with Grunge
Lawless: It looks like you've made another enemy in the CPC. You won't be winning any popularity contests any time soon.
Grunge: Who cares... I'm only here to show that Mace was the one dragging down Disorder X in the GWF. I don't really care about these CPC losers. Most of these guys wouldn't even cut it in the GWF like I did for years.
Lawless: Well, let me inform you of a few things. The Dominator is a 2 time CPC Heavyweight Champion and a former CPC InterStellar Champion. He defended those belts against the likes of Terminus, Janus the Overman, Raven and Holocaust. All men that were more successful in the GWF than you were. So maybe you should be worried that you just got on his bad side.
Grunge: Whatever. I'll deal with this guy whenever I get around to it.
Grunge walks off.
Qualitar: He really got to you.
Lawless: It just burns me. Grunge isn't even doing that well in the CPC and he continues to act like this whole promotion is below him. Maybe he should find some success here before he bad mouths us. Why is he even here taking a paycheck if he's too good for it?
Qualitar: I wish I knew. Well, let's head back to the ring as Jack of Diamonds takes on Talisman.
Jack of Diamonds d. Talisman w/ the Throne Strap Rating: 3/4*
CPC Heavyweight Champion Colossus and the Penthouse Punks come down and surround the ring. Taurine hops up onto the ring apron and Jack knocks him off. Jack fends them off but Romulus manages to get in the ring. Jack pounds on him in the corner but Colossus and Taurine get into the ring. Jack levels Taurine with a flying forearm and hits Colossus with a dropkick. Romulus nails Jack with a double axehandle. Colossus and the Penthouse Punks put the boots to Jack. Colossus climbs to the top rope and hits the Robotic Deathblow. The Penthouse Punks set Jack up for the View From The Top but the Z-Men charge into the ring. Colossus bails to the outside and the Z-Men clear the Punks out of the ring.
The StormTroopers and Cassandra find Angst in the lockerroom.
Hammer: Good job Angst. Glad to see you back on the right track.
Powerhouse: Yeah, what got you to settle down and just focus on destroying your opponent like that?
Angst: It's the strangest thing. I read that little booklet that Talisman gave me last week and it just seemed to help. It just seemed to show me what to do.
Hammer: You aren't falling for that voodoo that Talisman is selling are you?
Powerhouse: It's all a load man. It's just another flavor of the month religion to fleece the stupid.
Angst: No, just got some use out of the booklet is all.
Hammer: Good. Now, let's go celebrate your win.
Main Event: Espionage d. the Troubleshooters by DQ Rating: ***1/2
The arena lights go out and when they come back on the Lower World is in the ring. They go to work on the Troubleshooters. Death's Head hits the Funeral March on Muss and they give the Skullworks to the Bomb. The show fades out with the Lower World standing over their fallen opponents.
