That's why I'm starting a new group of only the best in the GWFZ. A group called BIG TIME. And Rush, after the show you just put on, I'm offering you the first slot.

(Rush looked around the ring and out to the crowd.)

OVERTIME: Well? What's it gonna be?

(Rush again paused and then grabbed the microphone.)

RUSH: FINE!

(The crowd went nuts! Rush turned and left while Overtime showed off for the crowd.)

(The show opened with Star Warrior coming down to the ring. He held a velvet bag under his arm. He climbed into the ring to the cheers of the crowd.)

STAR WARRIOR: Well GWFZ fans, I hope you've been enjoying the action here in the GWFZ for the past few months.

(Crowd Cheers.)

STAR WARRIOR: We've seen some interesting feuds develop as well as some over the top personalities come out. But we always want to take things to the next level and that's exactly what we're going to do now. At our June event, we will have a special 2 hour Holovision Broadcast!

(Crowd Cheers.)

STAR WARRIOR: Every wrestler currently under the GWFZ development contract will be in action that night. Including a few guests from the GWF!

(Crowd Cheers.)

STAR WARRIOR: The highlight of the evening though will be a 8 man, single elimination Tournament where the winner of the evening...

(Star Warrior began unzipping the velvet bag.)

STAR WARRIOR: ...will be crowned the first ever GWFZ NEBULA CHAMPION!

(The crowd goes nuts as Star Warrior holds aloft a championship belt.)

STAR WARRIOR: Tonight, stars of the GWFZ, you need to begin working your butts off! Because only the top 8 ranked wrestlers, as determined by the Cetus Committee will be able to participate in the tournament! The road to the belt begins tonight!

(The crowd went nuts as Star Warrior left the ring and we began out first match.)

Match Notes: This was a rematch from two months ago and it ended in the same fashion. One has to think that a special stipulation rematch is in the future for these two.

- BACKSTAGE -
(We're in Rush's locker room. There's a knock on the door. It opens without and answer and in walks Overtime.)

OVERTIME: Rush, my brother, you ready to show these fans what BIG TIME is all about? You ready to go out there and kick some ass?

(Rush, doesn't respond. Overtime, frustrated, gets in Rush's face.)

OVERTIME: Look, it's simple, you and me gotta stick together. We've got to prove to everyone we're capable of making it to the big time. So you don't wanna talk to me, that's fine. You wanna be the silent and brooding guy, that's fine, but you'd better get out there and let your actions speak louder than words by kicking some ass.

(With that, Overtime left the locker room.)

OVERTIME: A DQ win? That's how we're gonna show the Cetus Committe we're ready for the big time? We got a lot of work to do chump.

(Rush just watched Overtime walk off and then followed up the ramp himself.)

Overtime strides to the ring and grabs the microphone.

OVERTIME: Rush! You knew this was coming. Get your Aethran ass out here now.

(A pause. Then Rush's music hits. The Gladiator slwoly walks to ringside and gets up into the ring.)

OVERTIME: You know, as a Gladiator, I'd have thought you'd understand the meaning of the word TEAM! You and I are a team! We're BIG TIME! Now last month, at the special event, I helped you out during your match in the tournament. Unfortunately, the ref saw my 'help' and you got DQ'd. Them's the brakes my friend. But we're still a team. Win or lose, we're a team and your ass was nowhere to be found during my tournament match and what happened? I LOST! How is you deserting me being a team, Rush? How is you being a big crybaby and turning tail and running being a team? It's not. So you've got one question to answer this moment. Are we a team? Are Overtime and Rush still...Big Time? Or does Overtime go look for someone else?

(Rush stands staring at Overtime. Then he turns and begins walking away. Overtime grabs his houlder and spins him back around.)

OVERTIME: YO. I'm talking to you! We a team? Or are we not?

(Rush stares at Overtime and turns again. Overtime backs him up against the turnbuckle.)

OVERTIME: WE A TEAM OR NOT?!

(Overtime jabs the microphone in Rush's face.)

OVERTIME: Answer me punk! We a team?

(The crowd is going nuts.)

RUSH: We're a team.

OVERTIME: That's right. That's right. Smart man. We a team. Overtime and Rush. You hear that GWFZ?! We're a team. We're BIG TIME and it's time to take the GWFZ to the BIG TIME.

(Rush bails out of the ring and walks to the back. Overtime follows, showboating all the way.)

OVERTIME: I want you to start bringing that chair with you EVERYWHERE you go. Every time you see Overtime's wrestling, you need to bring that chair and set it ringside and observe the master at work. Got it! Now, take your chair and get back to the locker room so we can look over some of my indie tapes.

(Rush reluctantly folds up the chair as Overtime hops out of the ring. They walk up the ramp, Overtime showboating. Rush just staring at him, clutching the chair in his hands.)

- TURNBUCKLE SHOCK MATCH -

(Doctor Payne comes to rings side and grabs the mic. He's frantic and pacing.)

DOCTOR PAYNE: Surgeon! Surgeon! I know you are somewhere watching me right now and I want to get one thing clear. I don't know where the hell you are or what the hell you are thinking, but i want Nurse Elizabeth let go NOW! Whatever goes on in the ring between us doesn't have anything to do with her! You don't take an innocent person captive! I have contacted the auth--

(Just then the Holovision Screens snap on through the lodge. On screen, a tight close up of Nurse Elizabeth's face.)

NURSE ELIZABETH: Ormand! Ormand! Listen to me...

DOCTOR PAYNE: Elizabeth! Where are you? Where has that monster taken you.

NURSE ELIZABETH: Ormand, listen. He won't let me say where I am. (The camera starts pulling back.) He says he'll let me go but you have to wrestle him and win.

DOCTOR PAYNE: Oh I'm not going to wrestle him, I'm going to destroy him!

NURSE ELIZABETH: Listen, Ormand, on my God listen! (Camera is panned back further and we see Nurse Elizabeth's shoulders are restrained.) Next month, he wants you alone, one on one. If you win he'll release me! If you lose....(The sound of a power tool is heard off screen.) Oh God, oh GOD! If you lose, you have to join him and become his intern for a year, doing his bidding.

DOCTOR PAYNE: I don't care. I'd do anything to make sure you're safe.

NURSE ELIZABETH: He wants a special match though. A match to ensure that it's just you and him and the needs for a doctor afterwards. He wants a...BARBED WIRE COSMIC CAGE MATCH!

DOCTOR PAYNE: Tell him that's fine, but he's got to put up the GWFZ NEBULA CHAMPIONSHIP.

(A power tool scraping against metal is heard. Sparks flash in Nurse Elizabeth's face.)

NURSE ELIZABETH: Oh GOD! N...n....no! He says no. He says I should be prize enough.

DOCTOR PAYNE: If I refuse?

NURSE ELIZABETH: Oh don't say that. Ormand, please don't say that. If you refuse.....(Camera pulls back revealing Nurse Elizabeth strapped to an operating table.) If you refuse he operates!

(Nurse Elizabeth screams as the feed is cut. Doctor Payne stands in silence.)

DOCTOR PAYNE: SURGEON! SURGEON! You're on! Next month! BARBED WIRE COSMIC CAGE!

FADE OUT

- BACKSTAGE - OVERTIME & RUSH -
We see Overtime and Rush entering the locker room. Rush is carrying his bag and the steel chair Overtime has made him carry around.

OVERTIME: Alright dawg, listen up. Tonight you got Morbid one on one and we've got to work on your winning skills. So I talked to Star Warrior and I've made this match a 'Finisher Match'. The only way you can win tonight is if you use the WHAT A RUSH.

RUSH: What?

OVERTIME: Look, it's a powerful move, yo. You need to learn to hit it more and finish off your opponent, so the only way you CAN will tonight is by using it and using it effectively. Got it? Now look, I have to go do some networking for some endorsement deals. You get ready for your match.

(Overtime leaves. Rush stands still for a second then in one swift move, drops his bag and slams the chair into the lockers, denting them. With that we cut to ringside for our first match.)

Match Notes: The bell rang just as Overtime was taking his seat after showboating before the match. By the time he looked into the ring, the ref was counting three and Rush had DESTROYED Morbid and wrapped him up with his finisher WHAT A RUSH. Three move match. After the match, Overtime was shouting, "See that?! That's because he's listening to Overtime! Now you're learning!" Overtime acted as if he'd won the match as he left ringside, Rush walking slowly behind staring at him holding his chair.

- PROMO - STAR WARRIOR -
As the cage was being fitted for our main event, Star Warrior came to ringside.

STAR WARRIOR:I have a brief announcement before your main event tonight. First off, I would like to say that the GWFZ does not condone the methods used by The Surgeon in kidnapping Nurse Elizabeth. As soon as we learned this had happened, The Cetus Committee was mobilized to take action. However, Doctor Payne refuzed to talk to authorities about the situation, preferring instead to settle this in the ring. While we have no authority to MAKE Payne press charges, we can take a stand against such action. Therefore, even though it has not previously been a stipulation to the main event, the bout is now for the GWFZ NEBULAS CHAMPIONSHIP.

(CROWD CHEER.)

STAR WARRIOR: You see that belt needs to be fended every two events. Since The Surgeon didn't defend it last time, he must defend it tonight. Therefore, if Doctor Payne is victorious tonight, he not only secures the release of Nurse Elizabeth, he will also be the new GWFZ NEBULA CHAMPION!

(CROWD CHEER)

(Star Warrior exits the ring as we get set for the main event.)

- BARBED WIRE COSMIC CAGE - NON TITLE MATCH -
The Surgeon vs. Doctor Payne
for the GWFZ NEBULA CHAMPIONSHIP
The Surgeon defeated Doctor Payne with a via pinfall / escape after THE FINAL CUT
Match Rating: 5.00
Match Notes: The Surgeon came to ringside pushing a wheelchair with a understandable visibly distraught Nurse Elizabeth chained to it.

STIPULATIONS: If Doctor Payne wins, Nurse Elizabeth will be freed. If Payne loses, he must become The Surgeon's 'intern' and do his bidding for one year.

In one of the bloodiest battles in the history of the sport, these two men tore each other apart. At one point, Doctor Payne made it to the side of the cage where Elizabeth slipped him what appeared to be a vial. He drank whatever was in it and seemed to have renewed strength. It didn't last though as The Surgeon took over and was soon grinding Payne's face into the cage. Shortly after, The Surgeon hit the FINAL CUT and escaped the cage.

Payne was taken out of the ring via stretcher and was placed directly into The Surgeon's ambulance cruiser. With Nurse Elizabeth, screaming and pleading from the passenger seat, The Surgeon drove off with Payne, Elizabeth, the blood spattered GWFZ NEBULA TITLE and his undefeated streak intact.

All this as we FADE TO BLACK.

(Overtime opens the door to the lodge and stops. Rush is behind him and nearly bumps into him.)

OVERTIME: Hold up. Hold up, Rushy baby! Wait a moment. You smell that? You smell that smell?

(Rush makes no acknowledgment at all.)

OVERTIME: That smell is pure Overtime. Overtime becoming the #1 contender to the GWFZ belt baby! Tonight...History's gonna be made! Let's go.

(Overtime and Rush enter the arena as we head to the ring for our opening match.

The show opened with Hegemony coming to ringside.

HEGEMONY: Last month. It was just last month, I was participating in a #1 contender's match for the GWFZ NEBULA CHAMPIONSHIP. I was winning that match too, then it was snatched away from me. It was not the man who won the match, Overtime, who snatched that away from me, though I will take care him in due time. No the man who was the culprit behind the pilfering of my shot at the NEBULA CHAMPIONSHIP is Rush. Rush, and now I'm talking directly to you, you are nothing but a mindless drone. Your every action dictated to you by Overtime. Well tonight, I will be dictating your future. That future is, to LOSE. Tonight you will lose, to me, the man clearly superior to you in every way. Get used to that fact as it is your future.

STAR WARRIOR: So we'll have our regular show as usual and then to close out this banner inaugural year, we' will present THE GWFZ GAUNTLET!

(CROWD CHEER.)

STAR WARRIOR: Every wrestler who is currently under contract, and not injured, will wrestle that night in the first ever GWFZ Ranking Gauntlet and the winner will get a shot at the GWFZ NEBULA CHAMPION that night! This is all because of you, the fans, who have made the GWFZ the fastest growing fed in the galaxy!

(CROWD CHEER.)

(Star Warrior left ringside and it was time for the next match.)

Rush defeated Hegemony with a via DQ when Hegemony started a brawl outside the ring and refused to bring it back inside.

Match Notes: Before this match got out of hand it was a good back and forth battle. At one point Overtime tried to interfere on Rush's behalf and hegemony did a Knoggin' Knocker on them both! Overtime interrupted the announcer as he was announcing Rush's victory and told him to introduce The Surgeon so he could wrestle for the belt. he also told Rush to get his chair and sit and watch as history is made!

Match Notes: After the bell, Morbid refused to let go of the MORBIDLY CRUEL. When they finally got him to break it, Death Knight II was grabbing his arm in pain. Initial medical scans revealed a minor injury. Even though it is minor, he will not be healed in time for the end of the year gauntlet.

After the match, Overtime stormed out of the arena without saying a word to anyone. Even leaving Rush behind.

WRESTLER OF THE YEAR - The Surgeon
Whether you love him or hate him, you cannot deny he dominated this year. Only 1 loss and it was a DQ loss. He's not been pinned. One has to wonder if the rumored new crop of wrestlers coming into the GWFZ in 2122, will have someone who can take down The Surgeon.

MATCH OF THE YEAR
This was a touch call between two excellent matches, but the match with the most drama had to have been the Barbed Wire Cosmic Cage match with everything on the line from Card #009.

009 - GWFZ LIVE! - 09.07.2121
- BARBED WIRE COSMIC CAGE - NON TITLE MATCH -
Surgeon vs. Doctor Payne
for the GWFZ NEBULA CHAMPIONSHIP
Surgeon defeated Doctor Payne with a via pinfall / escape after THE FINAL CUT
Match Rating: 5.00
Match Notes: The Surgeon came to ringside pushing a wheelchair with a understandable visibly distraught Nurse Elizabeth chained to it.

STIPULATIONS: If Doctor Payne wins, Nurse Elizabeth will be freed. If Payne loses, he must become The Surgeon's 'intern' and do his bidding for one year.

In one of the bloodiest battles in the history of the sport, these two men tore each other apart. At one point, Doctor Payne made it to the side of the cage where Elizabeth slipped him what appeared to be a vial. He drank whatever was in it and seemed to have renewed strength. It didn't last though as The Surgeon took over and was soon grinding Payne's face into the cage. Shortly after, The Surgeon hit the FINAL CUT and escaped the cage.

Payne was taken out of the ring via stretcher and was placed directly into The Surgeon's ambulance cruiser. With Nurse Elizabeth, screaming and pleading from the passenger seat, The Surgeon drove off with Payne, Elizabeth, the blood spattered GWFZ NEBULA TITLE and his undefeated streak intact.

All this as we FADE TO BLACK.

(The Pyro went off and the theme hit and STAR WARRIOR made his way down to the ring.)

STAR WARRIOR: Good evening ladies and gentlement and welcome to year two of the GWFZ!

(CROWD CHEER!)

STAR WARRIOR: Over the past few months the GWFZ staff and I have been scouring the galaxy for the very best in up and coming talent to bring here for a shot at glory in the ranks of the GWF! As we do at the beginning of each year, we let this new talent take center stage for a chance to impress us, and you the fan!

(CROWD CHEER!)

STAR WARRIOR: Tonight you're going to see 4 incredible matches and each match will feature brand new talent that you will have never seen before. And for the first time in GWFZ history you will get...a tag team match!

(CROWD CHEER!)

STAR WARRIOR: One last thing before we start, our ratings have increased amazingly over our first year. Because of that, we're doing our best to make sure those watching on Holovision across the Galaxy have the best viewing experience. To improve that even more I'd like to introduce your new announce team for the GWFZ, Johnny Rocket and Mot and Kram!

Match Notes: ARES looked impressive in his opening match. MOTOR PSYCHO will have to step up his game if he wants to compete here in the GWFZ.

Harm vs. Narcotik
Harm defeated Narcotik with a via submission with HARM'S WAY

Match Notes: Though Harm was able to pull off the win in his debut match, it looked as if his knee gave out during the bout. Initial reports after the match are that he'll miss one card due to this injury.

DUPLOS vs. HIBERNATION DOMINATION
This match ended in a draw (via double DQ due to brawling.)
Match Rating: 2.50
Match Notes: If tonight's match is any indication as to what we can expect from the new GWFZ Tag Team division, we're in for a wild year. Both Gemin and Xiongmao tore into each other and didn't let up. The action soon spilled out of the ring and Gemello got involved pummeling the giant panda. Soon officials were able to break up the melee and order was restored. Both teams found themselves disqualified however due to the brawling. Cuddley Claw slept through the entire match.

Tournament Master vs. Strong
Tournament Master defeated Strong with a via pinfall with the FINAL ROUND

Match Notes: Tournament Master made surprisingly short work of the the giant new powerhouse Strong in this debut match.

- JOHNNY ROCKET'S LAUNCHING PAD -
WITH GUEST: OVERTIME

(JOHNNY ROCKET welcomed OVERTIME to the ring and started by asking the cocky athlete what he thought of the new talent.)

OVERTIME: Yo. That's it? The Championship Committee 'scours the galaxy' and this is all they find? Chumps with busted knees? Big scary bears? A so called God? Pft. Check it. The GWFZ might as well just fold right now. Overtime is the future and they can just stop looking.

ROCKET: You certainly do talk a tough game, but last we saw you, you were laid out, by your 'protege' Rush.

OVERTIME: Look I took that chump to the finals of the Ranking Gauntlet and what does he do? He chokes. He's nothing, just like everyone else here in the GWFZ. He's nothing.

ROCKET: But he beat you.

OVERTIME: He got in a cheap shot! You hear me? A cheap shot. I wasn't ready for the match to begin and he attacks me? That's bull!

ROCKET: So it's safe to say you and Rush are no longer on speaking terms?

OVERTIME: Rush who? Look, that's the past. Overtime doesn't look to the past. I'm all about the future. And the future here in the GWFZ is Tag Teams. I proved myself as a singles star last year and this year, I aim to show how versatile I am by competing in the Tag Team division.

ROCKET: Is that so?

OVERTIME: Yeah, yeah. Listen up Rocket, I got myself a tag partner I can trust. A tag partner who's got Overtime's back. A tag partner who is the only other person in this fed who is worthy to join by my side in creating the GALAXY'S GREATEST TAG TEAM. Pride!

(PRIDE comes to the ring and shakes hands with OVERTIME.)

PRIDE: This is the future of the GWFZ Tag Team division right here! You're looking at the future champs!

OVERTIME: That's right, Star Warrior might as well just come on out here and hand us the belts now.

ROCKET: Well, he just can't do that. There's other teams in the fed you know?

OVERTIME: What? The zoo escapees? The freak and his identical twin? Give me a break!

ROCKET: There's other teams as well, word is that Doctor Payne and Assasin X have formed a team called X-TREME PAYNE.

PRIDE: Payne's been injured for how long? Yeah he's no threat. We're the best. We're number one.

ROCKET: There's one more tag team as well. A new team. Just signed. I hear they are generating a lot of buzz.

OVERTIME: Yeah that buzz is the flies, because any tag team that isn't us? Is nothing but a pile of--

(Suddenly loud music hits and out come DARTH BROOKS and GRILLZ. They play up to the crowd and climb into the ring, getting into OVERTIME and PRIDE'S faces.)

OVERTIME: Yo, yo, yo, hold up. What they hell is this? This ain't the Galaxy Music Awards! What, you think this is Songs In The Key Of GWFZ? Oh hell no. No disrespect or nothing, but you chumps gotta go back to the studio.

ROCKET: Oh i don't think you understand Overtime, this is the new tag team.

OVERTIME: This? This? A washed up country star and a no name rapper? BWA HA HA HA HAAAAA! Oh that's sweet. Pride my man, we've got it locked up.

ROCKET: I wouldn't judge too quickly OT, I hear these guys are good?

OVERTIME: Oh you do huh? you think these guys are the next big things? The next headliners of the GWFZ. Why you so sweet on these two? Think they can get you backstage passes?

ROCKET: No. I'm 'sweet' on them because, I'm their manager.

(WIth that THE HEADLINERS attack OVERTIME and PRIDE. A HUGE brawl breaks out and several officials need to run to ringside to try and stop the mayhem. The brawl is still going strong as we...)

(The PYRO hits as does the theme and we're live with the GWFZ! Standing in the ring is the tattooed MORBID.)

MORBID: Year 2. It's the beginning of the second year here in the GWFZ and we've had an influx of talent. While this is great for you, the fans. This ain't good news for me. See for the past year I've been so distracted because I'd finally got my shot at the 'Big Time' I've been losing matches. Matches that I SHOULDN'T have been losing and as a result I'm at the ass end of the rankings. And now we've got a whole new influx of talent who are eager to climb to the top of the heap. So tonight, the new mission begins for me. A mission of destroying all the other competition in the GWFZ. Trust me, by the end of the year, I'm going to be at the top of the heap and at my feet will the the bodies of the rest of the GWFZ! So ring that bell and let's get some trouble started!

Morbid vs. Symbiote
Symbiote defeated Morbid with a DQ after Morbid repeatedly slammed Symbiote into the guardrails at ringside

Match Notes: After the match MORBID slapped the MORBIDLY CRUEL on SYMBIOTE and refused to let go. SYMBIOTE was screaming in pain. Finally officials had to pry MORBID off. SYMBIOTE was carried from ringside on a stretcher and STAR WARRIOR announced that for his actions MORBID would be suspended for one card.

Irish Heat vs. Dark Star Creature
Dark Star Creature defeated Irish Heat with a pinfall after hitting the PRIMAL RAGE

Match Notes: This match lasted only minutes and IRISH HEAT mounted no defense at all. It was all DARK STAR CREATURE.

- BACKSTAGE -
(We see MORBID leaving the arena to begin his suspension. As he's exiting, he bumps into DARK STAR CREATURE who is being led out by his handlers. MORBID shoves DARK STAR CREATURE hard.)

MORBID: Get out of my way idiot!

(DARK STAR CREATURE lets out a deafening roar and tosses his handlers aside and lunges at MORBID who was still angered at his suspension started pounding away. The two destroyed the portion of the loading dock they were on and when they could finally be separated, MORBID was screaming.)

MORBID: YOU'RE NEXT! YOU HEAR ME! YOU'RE NEXT!!!

Pride defeated Grillz with a pinfall after PRIDE AND PREJUDICE

Match Notes: THE HEADLINERS looked like fools in this match. They came to the ring showboating and grandstanding. GREATEST TEAM IN THE GALAXY, however was determined and focused and PRIDE secured the win in only THREE moves! JOHNNY ROCKET hadn't even made it ringside yet when he had to turn back because the match was over!
