POW Insurgence 9

Jack Hood was in the ring to make an announcement to start the program concerning Matinee Idol and Dante's actions.
Hood, "The Office has decided against suspending these two as this is the POW not the CPC and violence is encouraged, but in fairness I have booked the two in a match against each other tonight."
Morbid interrupted Hood, "Hood I demand a chance to take the light-heavyweight title of of Euritar."
Hood answered flashing his metallic teeth, "Aye, you'll get yer shot...if ye can go through me."

Matinee Idol vs Dante
Idol tried to talk to Dante, but Dante would have none of it and quickly took Idol down and knocked him out with a solid soccer kick to the head.

Trent Lawless caught up with Dante after the bout.
Dante, "I'm not in the POW to make friends, least of all Franco's latest project. I did what I did for my own reasons, to wake Mad Jester up."

Keepers of the Faith vs The True Way
Absalom vs TK -[/color] TK dominated the bout but Absalom was able to capitalize on a mistake by TK and locked in a sleeper choke for the submission.
Raze vs Crucible -[/color] Having overcome his fear of rucible, Raz completely dominated the match and got the tap out with a keylock. The battle continued after the bout between the four men and they had to be separated by security.

Anivar vs JJ Smooth
Anivar got the tap out with a kneebar and left Smooth writhing in pain on the mat as Olivia checked on him and called the medics for her boy.

Nefarus vs Pegasus
Nefarus was caught in a keylock and after a brief struggle the ref stopped the match awarding Pegasus the TKO.

Jack Hood vs Morbid
During the course of the mach Hood was beating Morbid down and there was a stoppage when Morbid was opened up. The ref was checking on Morbid's condition when out of nowhere Alexander Ubel slid into the ring and hit Jack with the KILL SHOT. The ref restarted the match and saw that Hood was unconscious and unable to continue. Morbid was awarded the TKO.

Alexander was standing up on the stage area smiling at his handiwork mic in hand, "Did that get your attention Jack! Give me Shylock tonight."
Hood stood up and grabbed a mic, "Ye wanted my attention boyo, you got it. If itsa fight ye want its a fight ye'll get."
Alexander laughs, "I've beaten you before Jack, I'll do it again."
Jack, "Oh, we'll meet again you can be sure of that but next week you face Puma"

Amazing Mann vs Zed Marlowe
These men took each other out quickly at Take Down. Tonight would be no different as the match saw many early counters with Mann locking in a keylock for the tapout. Marlowe was visibly upset at the outcome of the match and exiting the ring fuming.

POW Insurgence 10

The show started with a brawl between Thayne and Ahnu backstage. Ahnu opened up with several shots and put Thayne into a vending machine, but Thayne recovered and put Ahnu through a table. Thayne followed though with a kick to Ahnu's head the left him cold before security could pull him off.

Tanck vs Anivar
Anivar came to the ring with new ring attire and a shirt proclaiming him "The Crippler". On the back of the shirt was the name of JJ Smooth - Victim One. As if to prove this new moniker, Anivar injured Tanck with a head and arm choke and got the TKO when Tanck was unable to continue.

Trent got a word with Anivar, "What's with the new attire?"
Anivar, "I have a new attitude for the POW and I plan on adding every POW fighter's name to my shirt. ou can take that to the bank because Anivar "The Crippler" Tek said so."

Stigma vs Buddy Garner
Stigma was caught off guard by an overhand right by Garner that dropped him to the mat giving Garner the KO victory.

Alexander Ubel vs Puma
Before the match could even start, Puma was blindsided by Mensar! Mensar hit him with the HOSTILE TAKEOVER on the rampway before carting his body to the ring and holding him for the KILL SHOT by Alexander. the ref had no choice but to award Alexander the TKO as it was obvious Puma was in no condition to fight. Alexander celebrated with Mensar and Cordanus in the ring.

King's Men vs Brymstone Burning
Jack of Diamonds vs Blazing Skull -[/color] Jack caught Blazing Skull in a knee bar for the submission victory.
Excalibur vs Anachy -[/color] Thi match ended in a TKO victory for Anarchy as Excalibur stopped defending himself from mounted punches by Anarchy.
Jack of Diamonds vs Anarchy -[/color] Jack scored the KO with a right, left, right combo to Anarchy's head.

Rubicon vs Saboteur
Rubicon knocked Saboteur out with a hard knee to the side of his head in the clinch to end a short but violent bout.

Cypher vs Pendekar (open weight challenge)
Pendekar grabbed his knee after a dragging single leg by Cypher giving him the TKO.

Cypher kicks Pendekar in the head following the bout.
Cypher, "Shylock, I want a rematch tonight and I'm going to beat your friend until I get it."
Cypher kicks Pendekar in the ribs to prove his point. Stigma hit the ring and started to rain blows down on Cypher but he was unable recover after cypher caught him with a heel kick to the kidney's dropping him.
Cypher, "Answer me Shylock!"
Shylock came out onstage, "That's enough Cypher! If you want a match you got it, but if I win you get no more chances as long as I am champion."

POW Heavyweight Title
Shylock(c) vs Cypher(ch)
Shylock blasted a stunned Cypher with an overhand right knocking him out with the opening shot of the bout. The crowd exploded as Shylock beat Cypher in one move to end his title chances.

POW Light-Heavyweight Title
Euritar(c) vs Morbid(c)
Euritar looked to have things locked up with a rear naked choke when Alexander Ubel climbed into the ring. Euritar let go of the hold and went on guard against Alexander. Morbid recovered and started for Euritar and was stopped cold by the KILL SHOT by Alexander. The two men embraced and were joined by none other than Mensar and Cordanus.

Cordanus, "Ladies and Gentleman, meet the Gold Standard of the POW. I'm declaring war on the POW!"

Tauran vs Anarchy
Tauran has made his return with a much darker image, now wearing a black and silver version of his old attire and a mask covering his face, he faces off against the partner of the man who injured him. Tauran made his return a triumphant one as he got the tap out with an armbar. Tauran refused to let the hold go and was about to break Anarchy's arm when he was finally pulled off by security.

Jack Hood came out to the ring, "Alright boyo, ye hav made yer point. Tonight you will face Cypher, get through him and ye get yer chance to face me again to earn your title shot against Shylock."

Raijin vs Mike Fortune (open weight)
Mike Fortune took the smaller man down and knocked him out with a barrage of mounted punches.

JJ Smooth vs Thomas "KO" Keller (open weight)
Keller got the KO with a devastating overhand right putting Smooth on the mat.

Indigo vs Terminus
Terminus scored the KO victory with a Uranage. Terminus completely dominated this match-up.

Cordanus made his way to the ring, "Let me introduce you to the future of the POW and your next POW Doubles Champions."
Mensar's music hit and he started out alone, the audience thought he would try to win without a partner but as he reached the mid point on the ramp, new music blended into his and a huge man was silhouetted in the entranceway and as he stepped out onto the stage it was revealed to be CHAOS! He joined Mensar and they continued to the ring to await the POW Doubles Champions, the Assassin Guard.

POW Doubles Championship
Assassin Guard(c) vs The Elite(ch)
Chaos vs Sentinel -[/color] Chaos destroyed Sentinel and got the tap out with the BOW OF DEFEAT.
Mensar vs Assassin X -[/color] Mensar followed suit and knocked Assassin X out with the HOSTILE TAKEOVER

Jack Hood entered the ring with the title belts but Cordanus snatched them away from him and handed them to his men. Jack let him have this moment but pointed at Cordanus and drew a finger across his throat.

Cypher vs Alexander Ubel
Alexander Ubel wasted no time in putting Cypher away with the KILL SHOT for the knock out.

Jack came to the ring after the bout and delivered a snap kick to Alexander's groin dropping him to his knees.
Jack, "Glad ye won boyo, I'm going to kill ye in tha ring at POW End Days!"

Amazing Mann vs Brainstorm
Brainstorm and Amazing Mann had a great bout, but Mann would come out on top and get the tapout with a reverse crucifix choke.

Prodigy came out to announces some of the matches that would take place at POW End Days.

The Punks wormed their way into this fight by Prodigy's favor. Can the overcome the sheer power of The Elite?

Morbid gets his rematch for the POW Light-Heavyweight Championship after the injustice that occurred last time.

--- Ahnu vs Thayne ---

These two bitter foes once again face off in a match that could end one of their careers.

Hanuman vs Matinee Idol
Hanuman mauled the returning Idol and got a tapout with a wrenching hammerlock on Idol's recently healed arm. Idol escaped the bout without injury though.

Ahnu vs Dante
Ahnu knocked Dante out with a high kick to the head. Thayne assaulted Ahnu after the bout and security once again had to separate the two.

T & A vs Brymstone Burning
While the two Brymstonians showed unity as a team, the later team came out separately and showed no sign of even communicating with each other.
Tauran vs Anarchy - [/color] Tauran got the tap with a rear naked choke.
Anivar vs Blazing Skull -[/color] Anivar powered through Blazing Skull and knocked him out with a right hook.

After the bout Anivar left the ring but Tauran attacked the recovering Blazing Skull. Anarchy hit him from behind and the two began to double team Tauran. Anivar turned his back on the action and continued up the ramp as security rushed down to stop the beating before Tauran could be injured again.

Payback vs Guy Andrews
Payback caught the dominate Andrews off guard and knocked him out with an elbow to the face.

Shylock vs Rage
Rage dominated the champion and got the TKO victory when the ref saw that Shylock was no longer defending himself from Rage's mounted strikes.

Alexander Ubel vs Puma
Alexander proved his dominance and right to challenge by getting Puma to tap out to a cross armbreaker.

POW End Days 1

The show got right into the action with its opening bout pitting Tauran against Blazing Skull.

Tauran vs Blazing Skull
Blazing Skull took down the overly aggressive Tauran and knocked him out with a double leg sweep that bounced Tauran's head off the mat.

Blazing Skull stood over the prone figure of Tauran and laughed before exiting the ring to grab a weapon. Security rushed down and got between Skull and the ring to prevent him from attacking Tauran. Tauran suddenly flew over the top of the men and crashed into Blazing Skull, he recovered the weapon which was a stun rod and blasted Skull right between the eyes with it. Security tried to restrain him but he continued his assault on Skull before finally dropping the stun rod and exiting the arena.

Rubicon vs Saboteur
Saboteur stood cool and collected and ducked Rubicon's incoming attack and dropped him with an immediate kick to the back of the skull. He followed up with two spinning backfists to knock Rubicon out.

Minotaur vs "The Beast" Puma
Minotaur and Puma crashed into each other in brutal combat. Minotaur took Puma to the mat and despite his superior mat skills, Puma was knocked out by mounted punches. Minotaur continued his assault injuring Puma before he was done.

Anivar "The Crippler" Tek vs "The American Badass" Guy Andrews
Both men fought hard, but Anivar came out the victor by KOing Andrews with some hard mounted punches.

Footage is shown of The Punks talking to Prodigy earlier in the week.
Prodigy, "Fine, fine. You boys have a shot at The Elite for the championships. And to be "fair" I'm going down to the ring to ensure you get the chance without interference."

Ahnu vs Thayne (Last Man Standing)
Ahnu pounded on Thayne who refused to fight back for some reason. Thayne who mounted no offense at all took the beating of a lifetime, but refused to stay down. Eventually he was unable to rise again and the ref awarded the win to Ahnu. Ahnu bent down and whispered something in Thayne's ear and he began to weep silently as medics rushed to his aid.

Titan Fury vs The Mercs
Scion Nexus vs Gunnar -[/color] After a few unanswered shots by Gunnar the ref called the match giving the TKO to Gunnar.
Mike Fortune vs Thomas "KO" Keller -[/color] Keller schooled Fortune and knocked him out with an uppercut.
Gunnar vs Thomas "KO" Keller -[/color] Keller knocked Gunnar out with a series of hammerfists. Gunnar took two of them but the third put him on the mat.

Alexander Ubel vs Jack Hood
These two meet once again in a dispute over the POW Heavyweight title. After an incredible bout that saw both men opened up, Alexander was able to score the KO once again after hitting the KILL SHOT to put Jack down.

Alexander rolled from the ring and grabbed a mic and stood over Jack.
Alexander, "You can't beat me Jack so stop trying, I'm taking the POW Heavyweight belt from Shylock, and I'm doing it tonight."
Jack looked up, smiled, and booted Alexander in the crotch again. As Alexander lay on the mat, Hood picked up the mic.
Jack, "Good luck boyo, yer gonna need it."

POW Light-Heavyweight Championship
Euritar(c) vs Morbid(ch)
Euritar out wrestled Morbid and KOed him with a roundhouse kick to the stomach.

POW Doubles Championship
The Elite(c) vs The Punks(ch)
Chaos vs Romulus - Chaos got the tap out quickly with a keylock after the bout went to the mat.
Mensar vs Taurine - Mensar crushed Taurine with a double leg pick up and slam earning the KO.

Mensar and Chaos began to celebrate as Cordanus went to retrieve the belts. Prodigy snatched the belts from Cordanus.
Prodigy, "No, no , no! this is not over yet!" Prodigy stepped into the ring and stood facing Mensar and Chaos. "Gentleman if you please." At that Mensar hit Taurine with the HOSTILE TAKEOVER and CHAOS locked Romulus in the BOW OF DEFEAT for several moments before flinging him to the mat. Cordanus entered the ring and he and Prodigy raised the hands of Mensar and Chaos.
Prodigy, "Grael, I'm taking my federation back, and soon wrestling will be the premier entertainment again. Consider yourself warned, it will not be a pretty, it will be WAR!"

POW Heavyweight Championship
Rage(ch) vs Shylock(c)
Rage took it to Shylock, but was knocked out by a sudden sternum punch by Shylock.

Immediately following his victory Alexander's music hit and he came to the ring. Shylock readied himself for yet another battle to defend his belt.

POW Heavyweight Championship II
Alexander Ubel(ch) vs Shylock(c)
A weary Shylock was unable to fight off Alexander's barrage of strikes and was knocked out by a single leg foot sweep.

Alexander unceremoniously dumped Shylock from the ring as the rest of the Gold Standard came to the ring to join him. The entire Gold Standard are now the holders of all the POW Championship belts giving them a decided advantage in the war against the POW.

POW Insurgence 13[/color]

Video of a press conference held by Fastus Grael before the show was played addressing the actions of Prodigy.
Faustus, "First off, let me tell you the actions of Prodigy will not go unanswered. I am going to concede to his demands and allow wrestling to be prominent again in the POW...."
Prodigy interrupted Grael mid-sentence.
Prodigy, "Tell them the truth Faustus, you have no choice but to allow the return of pro wrestling, you don't actually own all of the POW your just a partner."
Grael, "I own the controlling share so I still make the decisions boy!"
Cordanus came from behind Prodigy, "Well thats not true either, between Prodigy and I we have 50% control, how is it you maintained your 50% when it was decided that the stock would be split four ways?"
Faustus grael was flustered, but Jack hood came to his rescue.
Hood, "Because I hold the other 25% and I'm in full support of MMA crushing Pro Wrestling."
Grael, "Now it seems we have a situation here that needs to be worked out. We should not be airing our dirty laundry for all to see. Trust me I'm sure we can all come to an agreement that will benefit us all.
All four men agreed and the camera faded out.

Faustus is in the ring with Prodigy, Jack Hood, and cordanus to announce the new rules for the POW.
Grael, "First of let me welcome you all the the re-imagined and reformed POW. What follows will be a spectacle to behold as Pro Wrestling goes head to head with MMA to determine who will dominate sports entertainment. now I direct you to the Holo-Screen for the breakdown."

The POW Re-Format
1) The POW is to be split into two brands : POW (wrestling) OFC (MMA)
2) Both wrestling and MMA will have equal time on the cards equaling three matches each.
3) A PPV will be held separately for each brand and titles will only be defended at these PPV's.
4) Wrestling will no longer recognize weight classes. The titles recognized in the POW are : POW Galaxy, POW Ultra, POW Tag, and POW Women's. Tag teams will be barred from competing for singles titles.
5) The OFC will be redivided into three weight classes : Super-Heavyweight, Heavyweight, and Cruiser-weight. Women will not be currently involved in MMA but may be scheduled to change. While do to the nature of wrestling, teams are once again allowed to form, this rule does not include the OFC where it is every man for themselves which will lead to some interesting match-ups.
6) Faustus and Hood have commissioned some exclusive fighters for the OFC as Cordanus and Prodigy have also found talent to be exclusive to the POW.

After the video was played the first match got underway.

Matinee Idol vs Payback
Payback hit Idol with an inside leg kick that caused him to crumple and unable to stand giving Payback the TKO.

Raijin vs Morbid
After a long battle, Morbid was KOed by Raijin with some mounted punches.

The Elite vs SkyFire
This match was over in record time as Quetzal delivered an ineffective back kick and then attempted a reverse neck-breaker, but the much larger Mensar devastated Quetzal with a G-Force DDT and immediately followed through with the HOSTILE TAKEOVER for the pin. Chaos prevented Talon form making the save and the two men began to double team Talon. Scion Nexus and Thomas Keller made the save and chased Mensar and chaos from the ring with chairs at the ready. Nexus challenged the Elite for the titles on next weeks card. Cordanus laughed and then responded for his team, "Now gentlemen, I don't know where you learned to read, or if you even did learn, but titles are only to be defended at PPV's from now on. So no you can't have a shot."
Hood appeared on the Holo-Tron, "That's where ye be wrong Cordanus, I am still the commissioner and I make match decisions. So I'm making a non-title match between these tow teams for next week and Nexus, if ye anyer boy can win you'll get yer shot at the next POW PPV."
Cordanus seethed but said nothing and went to the back with The Elite.

Dante vs Amazing Mann
Amazing Mann took four massive shots back to back from Dante (+4 to KO/Sub on Strike chart) and looked to be out on his feet. Dante's overconfidence became his downfall as he took the fight to the mat where Amazing Mann locked in a leglock and forced the tap for the submission victory.

Indigo vs JJ Smooth
Indigo was able to finally keep Smooth down with Colors of the Rainbow for the pin after a long match.

Alexander Ubel vs Saboteur
Alexander was all offense and did not allow Saboteur to get a move in knowing how deadly the assassin was in the ring. Alexander ended the match with the KILL SHOT for the pin.

After the match Alexander wasn't done and blasted Saboteur with the POW title belt. Alexander then went outside the ring and grabbed a chair, he placed the chair around Saboteur's neck intent on injuring him and possibly taking him out for good. Before he could accomplish this though Saboteur was saved by the most unlikely of people as Shylock rushed the ring and began to brawl with Alexander. The crowd was stunned but recovered quickly and cheered for Shylock as the men battled up the ramp. Security was able to finally separate the two as Saboteur watched from the ring with a mix of confusion and hatred in his eyes.

POW Insurgence 14[/color][/b]

Faustus Grael released a memo detailing the status of the titles since the brand split. The members of the Gold Standard now represent the POW Galaxy, POW Ultra, & the POW Tag Champions. At the newly named joint PPV Total Anarchy an OFC Super-heavyweight, OFC Heavyweight, & an OFC Cruiser-weight champion will be decided as well as a POW Women's champion. All POW titles will be defended at Total Anarchy against opponents hand selected by Jack Hood.

Mad Jester vs Dante
Jester looked to get retribution for the attack that Dante helped orchestrate a few weeks ago, but reverted to his usual antics and got put away quickly as Dante hit HELL for the pin fall.

Vyper vs Pegasus
Vyper ended this one early, getting the knock out with a left hook that sent Pegasus crashing to the mat.

Quetzal vs Assassin X
Assassin X locked Quetzal into a key lock and wrenched back until everyone heard a loud snap as Quetzal's wrist was broken giving Assassin X the TKO. Medics attended to Quetzal who looks to be out for about a month.

Nano vs Latasha
Latasha dominated Nano until she was caught in a face first pile-driver that gave Nano the chance to hit PLAYTIME and go for the pin. The ref counted three and Nano celebrated her win. Franco jumped into the ring and showed the ref some of the match footage and determined that the match should continue. Latasha hit the unaware Nano with the DIVA DEVASTATION and quickly covered her for the three-count. Latasha bailed form the ring and her and Franco retreated to the back after stealing the match.

Zed Marlowe vs Ahnu
After a very long battle that saw neither man gain a clear advantage, Marlowe caught Ahnu with an outside leg reap that bounced Ahnu's head off the mat with tremendous force for the knock out. Medics came in to check on Ahnu who looks to have suffered a mild concussion and will need to rest for the next couple of weeks.

The Elite vs Titan Force (non-title)
Mensar dominated Scion Nexus keeping him away from tagging in Keller. Mensar tagged in Chaos who applied the BOW OF DEFEAT on Nexus with deadly force cracking ribs in the process and picking up the submission win as Mensar charged across the ring and hit Keller with a devastating boot to the head that sent him to the floor and prevented the save. The Elite showed the crowd that they truly are the most dominate team in the POW o this night.
