POW Insurgence 6

A holo-vid is shown recapping the match between Shylock and Alexander showing Shylock's victory. This is followed by the confrontation between Jack Hood and Alexander and the match that followed hyping the highly anticipated rematch.[/i]

Raze vs Mensar
Mensar hit Raze with a rocking shot to the jaw and followed through with an outside leg whip that bounced Raze's head off the mat knocking him out.

Brymstone Burning vs T & A
Anarchy vs Anarchy -[/color] Anivar bulldozed through Anarchy and KOed him with a full nelson drop.
Tuaran vs Blazing Skull - As Tuaran connected with a hard right hook, left cross combo, Blazing Skull's head suddenly went nova blinding Tuaran. Blazing skull was disqualified after this giving Tuaran the TKO. Anivar checked on Tuaran and then called for medics.

Hanuman vs Tanck
Tanck got an early tap out with a lifting hammerlock.

Tanck, "Is this the best the POW has to offer. Not only have I taken out this ape, I even showed that scum Payback that I was a better fighter than him. No one can beat me."

Raijin vs Rubicon
The Primal Force crushed Raijin in seconds getting the knock out with a belly to belly falling slam. Rubicon was not done as he hit the groggy Raijin with the NO RETURN before exiting the ring.

Backstage Trent Lawless tried to get a word with Rubicon.
Rubicon, "Beware, I am coming for the POW title no matter who wears it!"

Dante vs Vyper
Dante refused to tap to a head and arm choke by Vyper but was unable to escape and passed out after several minutes giving the TKO to Vyper.

Shylock(c) vs Alexander Ubel(ch)
In an incredible rematch, Alexander had Shylock on the ropes and looked to win the bout. Shylock took advantage of a mistake by Alexander and countered the Kill Shot with his own wrestling finisher the FALL OUT, KOing Alexander for sure leaving no doubt that he was unconcious this time. Medics came to the ring to check on Alexander and placed his neck in a brace before taking him from the ring as Shylock celebrated his decisive win.

Injury Update
Thayne suffered minor injuries in his match with Ahnu at POW Revival and will be able to return at POW Insurgence 7.
Ahnu suffered severe internal injuries and broken ribs and a dislocated jaw in the match and will be out a total of 8 cards. (7 remaining)
Jack of Diamonds was re-injured at POW Insurgence 5 and will be out 3 cards.
Matinee Idol also suffered a dislocated elbow but Franco says he is also suffering mental trauma and will not return for 6 cards.
Tuaran suffered injuries resulting from Blazing Skull's head exploding and will be out an indeterminate amount of time.
Alexander Ubel is taking time to rest his neck that was impacted after taking the FALL OUT by Shylock. Alexander will make his return at POW Take Down 1.

Prodigy comes out and announces a four team tournament to determine the POW Doubles Champions. The four teams are The Mercs, Darwin's Legacy, Assassin Guard, and Silent Violence.

Miyamoto vs Jazaki[/u]
Miyamoto countered a hammerfist, took Jazaki to the mat and knocked him out with mounted punches.

Nefarus vs Quetzal[/u]
Nefarus pounded on Quetzal with mounted punches, once Nefarus got Quetzal down he stayed down.

Pendekar vs Buddy Garner[/u]
Pendekar schooled Garner and put him away with a whirling heel kick for the KO.

Dante vs Mad Jester[/u]
Dante choked Jester out with the figure four choke for the TKO as Jester passed out from the hold. Dante celebrated the win and then pulled out a pair of handcuffs and cuffed Jester's hands. Matinee Idol and Franco entered the ring. Dante blasted Jester with kick after kick to the head before Idol locked on a triangle choke. Security cleared the ring after several minutes so that medics could attend to Jester.

The Mercs vs Darwin's Legacy[/u]
Mike Fortune vs Nero -[/color] Nero took Fortune out in record time, knocking him out with an uppercut.
Gunnar vs Hadrian -[/color] Gunnar came out on top of a very long bout and got the TKO after several knees to the ribs.
Gunnar vs Nero -[/color] Gunnar gets the TKO against Nero after he stopped defending himself against mounted punches.

Zed Marlowe vs Saboteur[/u]
There was a loud pop and Zed was KOed with an axe kick by Saboteur giving him an easy win.

Terminus vs Brainstorm[/u]
Brainstorm was all over Terminus and got the submission victory with a triangle choke.

Indigo vs Minotaur[/u]
Indigo landed a few blows, but Minotaur caught a kick and took him to the mat and locked in a rear naked choke for the tap out.

Tournament Round Match[/color]
Silent Violence vs Assassin Guard[/u]
Pendekar vs Sentinel -[/color] Sentinel crushed the much smaller Pendekar and scored a knock out with a hard roundhouse right to the temple.
Stigma vs Assassin X -[/color] Assassin X was able to take Stigma to the mat and lock in a triangle arm bar. Stigma refused to tap, but after it was apparent that he could not escape he ref awarded Assassin X the TKO.

Thayne vs Anarchy[/u]
Thayne beat Anarchy by TKO with frenzied strikes.

Crucible vs Thomas "KO" Keller[/u]
Keller dominated the match and wrenched back on a guillotine choke. The tap out came quickly but the damage was done as Crucible grabbed his neck.

Pegasus vs Guy Andrews[/u]
Andrews overcame Pegasus' offense and got him to tap out to a twisting knee bar in a great bout.

A press conference is held a few days before POW Take Down.
Prodigy, "After some consideration, Jack and I have decided to reinstate the weight classes to a degree. The Super-Heavyweights and the Heavyweights division will be merged, and a POW Light-Heavyweight champion will be determined in a new match to be unveiled at POW Take Down."
Jack Hood stands to take the mic,"We are also looking into allowing doubles members being able to hold singles titles."[/i]

POW Take Down 1

Jack Hood is standing on the stage to begin the show.
Hood, "Welcome to the POW's second supercard Take Down! Tonight you will see the crowning of a light-heavyweight champion, and the reigning POW Heavyweight Champion Shylock will be defending his title against the returning Cypher."[/i]

Rage vs Payback[/u]
Payback locked in a guillotine choke on Rage and the ref called the match as Rage lost consciousness.

Tanck vs Mensar[/u]
Mensar, in an incredible show of strength, powered out of Tanck's third attempt at the Iron Man Vise and countered with a HOSTILE TAKEOVER for the knock out.

Guy Andrews vs Alexander Ubel[/u]
Alexander plowed right though Andrews and scored the tap out with a choke sleeper.

The GOB vs The Punks[/u]
These two feuding teams faced off in the rubber match to determine a clear winner a rule variation was used.
Silas vs Taurine -[/color] Taurine took Silas down quickly and knocked him out with mounted elbows.
Gordo vs Romulus -[/color] Gordo caught the smaller Romulus with a belly to belly toss that landed Romulus on his neck giving Gordo the TKO as medics checked on Romulus.
Gordo vs Taurine -[/color] Gordo fought again immediately as Romulus was diagnosed. Taurine KOed Gordo with several elbow strikes.
Silas vs Romulus -[/color] Silas was awarded the TKO after it was determined that Romulus would be unable to compete.
Silas vs Taurine -[/color] Silas gained the victory for his team as he took Taurine down, and after a few exchanges on the mat he locked in a STF for the tap out.

Miyamoto vs Jazaki[/u]
Jazaki gained a measure of revenge for his previous loss to Miyamoto and knocked him out with a scissor kick.

Minotaur vs Hanuman[/u]
Minotaur destroyed Hanuman's face with a barrage of punches to open the match, scoring the knock out and injuring Hanuman.

Puma vs Rubicon[/u]
Puma mauled Rubicon and after a driving leg hook takedown he knocked Rubicon out with mounted palm strikes. Puma stood over the body of Rubicon and roared in triumph.

POW Doubles Championship[/color]

The Mercs vs Assassin Guard[/u]
Mike fortune vs Assassin X -[/color] Assassin X threw a karate thrust at Fortune's neck gaining the TKO.
Gunnar vs Sentinel -[/color] Sentinel and Gunnar competed in a great bout, Sentinel gained the upper hand and forced Gunnar to tap out to a guillotine choke.

Jack Hood enters the ring and awards the POW Doubles titles to the Assassin Guard as Saboteur looked on from the ramp. Assassin X and Sentinel took the titles without a word and joined Saboteur to head to the back.

Prodigy comes out to explain the Iron Man Gauntlet, "Each man will face all other opponents and battle though as many as possible. The two men that get the most victories will then face off for the POW Light-Heavyweight Championship."

Dante vs Raijin -[/color] Dante KOed Raijin with a right high kick to the temple.
Dante vs Euritar -[/color] Euritar ended Dante's run early by knocking him out with a stiff knee to the head.

Amazing Mann vs Zed Marlowe -[/color] Mann went for a keylock, but Zed slipped through and locked on the Marlowe Vise for the TKO as Mann refused to tap but was unable to escape.

Brainstorm vs Morbid -[/color] Brainstorm ducked a combo by Morbid and opened him up with a brutal kick scoring the TKO.
Brainstorm vs Thayne -[/color] Brainstorm used Thayne's aggression to take him to the mat and scored the tap out with a kimura armlock.
Brainstorm vs Euritar -[/color] Brainstorm knocked Euritar out cold with a knee to the head in a great bout.
Brainstorm vs Raijin -[/color] Raijin ended Brainstorm's growing streak and KOed him with a surprise reverse leg sweep.

Zed Marlowe vs Amazing Mann -[/color] Mann was able end Marlowe's run just as quickly as he had ended his after bouncing Marlowe's head off the mat and the ref stopped the fight giving Mann the TKO.

Morbid vs Thayne -[/color] Thayne knocked Morbid cold with frenzied strikes on an already hurt Morbid.

Euritar vs Raijin -[/color] Euritar opened Raijin up with Merciless to get the TKO.
Euritar vs Brainstorm -[/color] Euritar blew through Brainstorm taking him down and making him tap to a rear naked choke.
Euritar vs Dante -[/color] Euritar was shocked by a shot by Dante that knocked him out ending his run.

Raijin vs Brainstorm -[/color] Raijin knocked Brainstorm out with a flying knee.
Raijin vs Dante -[/color] After three consecutive soccer kicks to the head, Dante won the match by KO.

Thayne vs Zed Marlowe -[/color] Zed popped Thayne's knee with a knee bar to win the match by TKO.

POW Light-Heavyweight Championship[/color]
Brainstorm vs Euritar[/u]
Euritar fought off brainstorm and scored the knock out with the Merciless to become the newly crowned light-heavyweight champion. As Jack went to present Euritar with the title Brainstorm snatched the belt and blasted Euritar with it as he turned to face him. Brainstorm stood over Euritar with the title in hand and then dropped it at his feet before exiting the ring.

Shylock(c) vs Cypher(ch)[/u]
Shylock dominated Cypher once again and knocked him out with a right, left, right uppercut combo to retain the title. As Shylock celebrated with Splatter and Rhiannon Alexander Ubel came out on stage and watched in silence.

Man, tough gauntlet you got going there! And Puma's beating Rubicon for everyone lately, myself included. I'm surprised it hasn't been more even.
