P.O.W. Apocalypse 10
Trent Lawless: Welcome ladies, gentlemen and lower life forms to another edition of Apocalypse. Tonight we get to see the long awaited debut of Team Burning Fist as Marcus Griffin and Vos Aurilliae make their POW debuts. Another big team announcement is that former women’s champion Morgana has officially joined the Fighting Titan Dojo, along with Scion Nexus and Tomas Keller the three look to put Titan on the MMA map. Tonight’s main event pits TK who has looked good in his win and loss and Stigma who rebounded from the knockout loss he suffered to Euritar with a good win last time out. Both men are looking to get into position for a shot at Euritar at the upcoming PPV in a little over a month.
1. Desdemona (3-1) vs. Doro Hemlich (0-1) (w) Double leg takedown into a heel hook and Doro tapped out. WINNER – Desdemona by submission (heel hook) (Desdemona 0 – Doro 0)
2. The Regal Marcus Griffin (3-0, POW debut) vs. J.J. Smooth (0-2) (sh) Smooth was totally out classed and thankfully Griffin was able to end it relatively fast sinking in a rear naked choke for the tap out. WINNER – Marcus Griffin by submission (rear naked choke) (Griffin 0 – Smooth 0)
3. Jack of Diamonds Cardashian (1-1) vs. Matinee Idol Zak Polter (1-1) (h) Jack came out a house a fire leveling Zak to start things off then working good submissions from the ground but soon he started to tire while Zak got his second wind and started working over the arm of Jack, and it was while he had an arm bar locked in that it broke causing the ref stoppage do to injury. WINNER – Zak Polter by TKO injury (arm bar) (JoD 2 – Zak 4)
4. Romulus (1-1) vs. Vos Aurilliae (1-1, POW debut) (c) This was supposed to be a coming out party for Team Burning Fist and Vos but instead Romulus hit a kick to the stomach that must have hit something right as Vos doubled over in pain and the ref jumped in to stop any more action. WINNER – Romulus by TKO injury (strike) (Rom 0 – Vos 0)
5. Raze (1-1) vs. Karah Nero Wednis (1-1) (h) Eh fight as Raze took it the ground fast and then sank in a deep rear naked choke that Nero had no choice but to tap out to. WINNER – Raze by submission (rear naked choke) (Raze 0 – Nero 0)
6. Serpentine (1-2) vs. Morgana (2-1) (w) Solid fight that surprisingly both women came out striking to start. Once Morgana got into a groove she took Serpentine to the mat where she got a loco plata locked on and it wasn’t released until the ref stopped the fight due to Serpentine failing to respond. WINNER – Morgana by ref stoppage (loco plata) (Serpentine 1 – Morgana 3)
7. Stigma (1-1) vs. Thad T.K. Killian (1-1) (c) TK showed good skill both standing and on the mat but it was the ground skills of Stigma that shone through tonight as he was able to whittle away at the defense of T.K. and finally gain mount and rain down elbows until the ref stopped Stigma from doing anymore damage. WINNER – Stigma by TKO (mounted elbows) (Stigma 2 – TK 1)
Trent Lawless: Well fans it was another injury plagued night as Doro who has looked helpless in her first two losses sustained a heel injury while Jack of Diamonds suffered a serious arm injury that will likely keep him out of action for up to three months, and finally Vos suffered some sort of stomach injury that doctors are still looking at but early reports are he could be out for up to two months. On the bright side for Team Burning Fist is that Marcus Griffin won his debut match and though it was against a severely outclassed JJ Smooth it is a start. Morgana is back on the winning track after losing her Women’s Title and hopes to be back into contention for Rhiannon’s title soon. Be here next week as Latasha and Nero continue the war that no one is watching and Pendekar tries to win his first match against Talon.
POW Apocalypse 11 Line-up Nano (1-3) vs. Latasha (0-4) Absalom (0-2) vs. Excalibur (0-2) Pendekar (0-2) vs. Talon (0-2) Crucible (0-1) vs. Zed Marlowe (2-1) Mad Jester (0-2) vs. Shylock (2-1) Rubicon (2-1) vs. Silas (1-2) Hadrian (1-2) vs. Mensar (3-1)

P.O.W. Apocalypse 11
Trent Lawless: Welcome ladies, gentlemen and lower life forms of all ages to another addition of Apocalypse. Tonight we see two former champs in their first matches since dropping the titles in Rubicon and Shylock and it will be interesting to see how well they rebound. We also get to see the great (rolls eyes) rivalry between Nano and Latasha continue tonight. Also on the…
(With that out comes Dr. Barnabas followed by Hadrian and Nero.)
Dr. Barnabas: Lawless I got a bone to pick with you. TL: Me? You got the wrong guy doc, I just work here, I’m sure you mean Hood or President Prodigy. DrB: Whatever the case may be, someone will pay for the affront perpetrated on my boy Nero here last week, he no longer goes by the name Karah Wednis, and will never be called that again do I make myself clear? TL: Fine by me doc, listen take it up with the boys in the truck, the run the onscreen credits, and as far as I know Commish Hood is the one that wanted to use real names and such, why don’t you go talk to him again, we know you took care of him once already. DrB: (smirks) Your right Lawless maybe it’s time to get a new bottle opener.
(Barnabas turns and Nero and Hadrian follow wringing their hands as they walk to the back)
TL: Lets get to the first match shall we.
1. Nano (1-3) vs. Latasha (0-4) (w) Nano came out striking and opened up a light cut on the head of Latasha that seemed to send the diva into a spastic rage, pounding Nano till “it” dropped to the mat and then she was able to lock in a keylock for the submission. WINNER – Latasha by submission (keylock) (Nano 2 – Latasha 1)
2. Excalibur (0-2) vs. Absalom (0-2) (h) Decent match though Absalom was able to control things on the feet and knock out Excalibur after a round house kick to the melon. WINNER – Absalom by knockout (roundhouse kick) (Excalibur 1 – Absalom 0)
3. Pendekar (0-2) vs. Talon (0-2) (c) Very good hard hitting match, both men were bleeding, Pendekar after a nice punch from Talon and Talon while he was in Pendekars vicious clinch with a knee. It was that vicious clinch game that Pendekar employed tonight that wore down Talon to where he was caught in a juji gateme on the mat that caused him to tap out and finally give Pendekar his first win in POW. WINNER – Pendekar by submission (juji gateme) (Pendekar 3 – Talon 7)
4. Zed Marlowe (2-1) vs. Crucible (0-2) (c) Solid match both men worked hard on their feet and the ground but it was Zed who locked in a very tight rear choke lock for the submission. WINNER – Zed Marlowe by submission (rear choke lock) (Zed 2 – Crucible 2)
5. Mad Jester (0-2) vs. Shylock (2-1) (h) In his first fight since losing the Heavyweight Title to arch enemy Saboteur, Shylock looked none the worse has he blasted a knockout victory after a right jab, left hook, right knee combo. WINNER – Shylock by knockout (right knee) (MJ 0 – Shylock 0)
6. Rubicon (2-1) vs. The Russian Redneck Silas (1-2) (s) Both men played touch and go early on but it was Rubicon who grounded Silas and was able to pound out a TKO by strikes after a barrage of knees and elbows to the ribcage. WINNER – Rubicon by TKO (strikes) (Rubicon 0 – Silas 0)
7. Mensar (3-1) vs. Hadrian (1-2) (s) Dr. Barnabas had Hadrian raring to go and he took the advantage from the start beating Mensar in the striking game but one mistake on the ground and Mensar took over and from the grounded out a TKO thanks to undefended elbows to the head and knees to the ribs. WINNER – Mensar by TKO (strikes) (Mensar 2 – Hadrian 0)
