They might be going for the Punk being right. Personally, I think the genius of this is that right now both of them are right. They aren't telling you to cheer either guy. If you're a mainstream fan you probably agree with Cena and think he's right. If you are a net smark you probably agree with Punk. And the storyline works both ways. Add to that some of the heelish, or at least non traditional, tactics Cena has used in his last few matches and neither guy looks like the absolute hero or villain.

The cheers for punk are mostly guys.

The cheers for punk are mostly guys. True, Vidtek. I often wonder what the reaction would be from the women and kids if Cena goes heel at some point. That would be interesting. He's too much of a cash cow for WWE that it would be hard to turn him but "evil" Cena would be a fun change.
