Iceland is to Euro2016, what Leicester City was to the Premier League!
----
The bookies have got to be wondering what the heck is going on...they have to be praying that Iceland go down, every round they advance, more money goes flying out of their pockets!
I for one like an underdog to win every now and then...but Germany is getting stronger and Belgium is rolling. France might just ride the home field advantage to the title like they did with World Cup in 1998. And the sleeper of the bunch just might be the Poland/Portugal winner...bet you never thought you would hear "Portugal" and "sleeper" in the same sentence. These games are getting to be must see TV.

Yeah, but his contract was up anyway. Hodgson resigning was the equivalent of someone quieting during the company's going out of business sale.

Quarter finals
Portugal beat Poland on penalties after 1-1 AET
Shocker Wales beat Belgium 3-1 - Could Wales win the tournament , bigger shock than when Greece won it in 2004

The 2017 MLS season is coming up in a few months and we have two new teams in Atlanta United FC and Minnesota United FC, so I'm amp'd for another season. I actually would love to see the New York Red Bulls go all the way and win the Cup this year...
So 7 bids have been placed from Detroit to San Diego, the San Diego bid is interesting with plans to put the stadium where the Chargers played. So the league has new cities to expand to, plus a second Los Angeles team is coming in 2018...

Day 3 of the 2017 MLS season kickoff and I've enjoyed it so far. I have the MLS LIVE subscription and watching the games is a fun thing. I really enjoyed the Columbus V Chicago game of all the games yesterday, plus Houston getting a solid victory over the defending Champs is a good start to their season. I am looking to watch Atlanta in their debut, but it was a shame Minnesota on Friday got smoked...

What a game in Minnesota the Atlanta United had with a 6-1 drumming of Minnesota United in a early match of the 2017 expansion teams, plus the snow made the game interesting. It is early, but I like seeing the San Jose Quakes at 2-0 and I like Coach Dominic Kinnear...

Minnesota has nothing in their backfield. It's going to be a long season for them.

Talk about the most embarrassing game played in the EPL this season...Arsenal just plain sucked at West Brom today...
The team is just not performing, with or without the managerial situation, they just aren't showing up at all in the League.
