***GWFZ TERRITORIES BEGINS***

...At Titan Tower, GWFZ Commissioner Stellar Nexus holds a press conference to lay out how the fed will be run now that the Z has split into the different territories and has promised to announce a gala SUPERCARD to kick the year off. Many reporters from all corners of the galaxy are present and as Stellar enters the room, the reporters all ask questions at the same time, making it impossible for any one of them to be heard. Nexus puts his hands up as if to say “Quiet down,” and it works as the noise dissipates...




Nexus: Good evening ladies and gentlemen. It’s a very exciting time for all of us here involved with the GWFZ. We are looking forward to bringing the great action of our superstars to all corners of the galaxy and the great part is now that we have split the fed into territories, we can run multiple shows at the same time instead of making the fans wait until we travel to their planet.

The first order of business is to establish who is in our Hall of Fame Zone. In the single’s category, we have a few no-brainers. The first inductees are current GWFZ Champion, Scar, O-Zone Champ, G.Q. Stratus, as well as Pride, Morbid, and Assassin Z. On the tag-team side we have selected The GWFZ Tag – Team Champs, The Headliners and Heavy Metal.





...GWFZ Tag Champs, The Headliners appear and say that they will no longer be tagging anymore. They relinquish the belts over to Stellar Nexus, shake his hand and exit...




Stellar Nexus: And now onto the future. Each territory will establish their own single’s champions and possibly tag champs where applicable. G.Q. Stratus is still the O-Zone Champion, which will be defended exclusively on Planet Z.

Scar is the 1st recognized GWFZ Universal Champion. He will also be the co-holder of the Steel Champion in the Danger Zone. The 1st scheduled match in that territory will be Grash vs. Scar to unify that belt.

Jack Rabbid is the Sudden Death Champ which will be defended at random throughout the GWFZT. A teleportation device will transport a randomly selected opponent.

Now to resolve the Universal Tag – Team Title situation, our 1st Supercard of the year will feature tag teams from every territory in the 16–Team NEXUS CUP MegaTournament to crown new champions. The winner of this tournament will also receive the tag titles in their home territory!

...The show opens from the lavish Champions Hall with Commissioner Nexus in the ring. He directs the attention of the crowd and cameras to the north side of the arena where he unveils the banners of the HOF inductees: Scar, G.Q. Stratus, Pride, Morbid, Assassin Z, The Headliners, and Heavy Metal.

He also shows on the other side of the arena, GWFZ Legends banners for Overtime, Ensor, and Strong, as well as Galaxy's Greatest Tag-Team: Pride & Overtime. Nexus then has his assistants bring down the Nexus Cup Trophy and says, “Let the tournament begin and may the best team win!”


...As fitting for a tournament run by a Titan commissioner, the tournament kicks off with a Titan team against a Masked Assassin team...

ROUND 1

---In the opening match of round 1, the Titan Bulldogs take on Assassin’s Creed. Son of Saturn takes a lot of punishment but gets the hot tag to Titan Kid II who starts cleaning house. He hits Akuma with a snap suplex on the floor and Akuma cannot beat the referee’s count, giving the Bulldogs the CO win!


---Bloodlust battles Lucky Day in a hard-hitting match. Lucky Day looks to be taming the wild beasts but Irish Heat is DQ’d when he uses CHEERS! on Pandamonium.


---Paranoia is decimated by the faction and is quickly put down when Fringe is pinned after MOUNTAIN OF ASH by the faction.


---In the final match of the opening round, Bros Before Heroes defeat Taste of Ink when Ceratonin uses a +2 DARK CORNERS on Pariah.

ROUND 2

---Titan Bulldogs take down Bloodlust when Titan Kid II nails Pandamonium with a top rope clothesline! Bulldogs clinch a spot in the Night 1 finals!


---the faction defeats Bros Before Heroes when Bro Gnarly is isolated in the faction’s corner and beat with MOUNTAIN OF ASH.





---In a SISTERS OF THE STARS feature bout, Lone Star battles Miss Black, in her debut. Lone Star goes for her big finisher Dying Star but misses. She is unable to recover from this and Miss Black uses her finisher, ALL ON BLACK, getting the submission from Lone Star.

**NIGHT 1 FINALS**

---the faction and Titan Bulldogs get many oohs and ahhs from the crowd but the end comes when the Bulldogs hit TITAN TOSS on Danger and get the 1, 2, 3 – punching their ticket to the finals on Night 3!

ROUND 1

---The Elitists look great in their match against Titan Turncoats and get the victory when Y2K is pinned after RISE AND FALL by Jupiter and Mars.



---Titan Revenge faceoff with the Andromeda team of Ibex and Markhor. This match has many high spots giving the fans a lot to cheer about! The end comes when Ibex charges Revelation in the turnbuckle but Revelation uses his hearing to sense when to move and Ibex crashes hard into the turnbuckle. As he turns around, Revelation uses a tight small package and gets the 3 count!



---Nightmare Nikki leads perhaps the most frightening team in all GWFZT to the ring – Evilution. They battle Godspeed of the All Earth Zone. Achilles and Ajax are one step ahead the whole match and get the win when ACHILLES’ HEEL is applied to Xymbiote and Leviathan’s pin save is thwarted by Ajax.



---In the final match of round 1, Grindhouse battles Venusian Guard. This match ends in a quick DQ when Xaphan and Astro Creep ignore the ref’s 5 count and unleash a brutal double team beating of Apollo in the corner. Shukra eventually cleans house but Apollo is a little shaken up.





...A video package is shown hyping the next big GWFZT show – the LIGHT SPEED INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT. The video shows highlights of many of the high flying superstars like Torque, Shiitake Jr., Death Knight III, Blue Tornado, La Vuelta, and Chalupacabra...

ROUND 2

---Titan Revenge keep things rolling when they are victorious over The Elitists when Revelation uses BLIND JUSTICE on Jupiter. Titan Revenge earns a spot in the finals of Night 2!



---Godspeed battles Venusian Guard where the winner faces Titan Revenge in the Night 2 Finals! Shukra does most of the wrestling in this one for VG as Apollo took a beating in their 1st round match. Achilles is trapped in the VG corner and Shukra beats him with ONSLAUGHT for the win!

---Kevin starts out like a house of fire (so he thought) with some big chops to the chest, which had no effect on Blade. He tries to do a running shoulder block but trips on his way off the ropes! Blade picks him up and kicks him in the gut. He then grabs the toothpick from behind his ear and flicks it in Kevin’s face! Then he executes a perfect Super Fall Away Slam for the easy 3 count.


...Following his win Blade Machismo picks up Kevin and continues his assault with many clotheslines and body slams. He pummels him in the corner and looks to hit him with the BLADE BOMB but he is frozen in his tracks when we hear the music of FREAK OUT! He runs down the ramp and Blade high tails it out of there! Freak Out helps Kevin Butcher to his feet and raises Kevin’s hand as the crowd cheers...

NIGHT 2 FINALS

---In the final match of the evening, Titan Revenge battle hard against Venusian Guard but Apollo hits MERCILESS on Stryker for the win. The 2 teams shake hands as the crowd gives both teams a big ovation.

...The show opens with a video recap featuring the course of the great action of the NEXUS CUP MEGATOURNAMENT. It ends with many shots of the 2 teams in the finals tonight – Titan Bulldogs and Venusian Guard...

---The opening match is a PLANET Z SHOWDOWN pitting Mercury Rising against newcomers more Beautiful & Beastly. After Vain is almost pinned immediately by Prof. Sudden, he tags to Buffet. The Phenomenal Swift runs circles around Buffet and puts him down with MIND ERASER for the win as Prof. Sudden thwarts Vain’s pin save attempt.



---In a match featuring the S.O.S. Territory, the ominous Diva..of Doom battles arch rival Amaranth. Diva of Doom doesn’t get much offense in and meets her doom when Amaranth uses JAM SESSION for the win.



---Next up, from the rafters comes the UFZ Octagon ring and it sets on top of the GWFZ ring and secured in place by the ring crew. Mot and Kram hype the next bout, the UFZ MMA Match with 2 household names Dr. Payne and Tournament Master hitting the octagon. Tournament Master is totally dominant and puts Dr. Payne away with 1:15 left in Rd. 1 with FINAL ROUND.

The champ hits the ring with Necro Butcher, Motor Psycho, and Morbid as they are representing the New School Hardcore Fighters from the Danger Zone.

The Original Underground Classics team of Crow, ACE, Cardiak, and “Hardcore” Jim Steel hit the ring to a big pop...


---In the Danger Zone Elimination Tag Match, Morbid and Crow go to town on each other but Morbid is DQ’d for a knee to the crotch of Crow.

-“Hardcore” Jim Steel puts the Originals team up 4-2 when he eliminates Motor Psycho with STEEL TRAP. The 2 Gladiators now face the entire Originals team.

-Necro Butcher gets the New School on track when he puts ACE down with CHOOSE DEATH.

-The next fall is controversial when Necro looked down and out after Cardiak hit him with Cardiak Killer but Scar enters the ring with a big pin save. Cardiak is distracted and Necro seizes the moment and uses Aethran Spike on Cardiak and gets the 1, 2, 3 evening the teams.

-Crow looks to have Scar beat but Necro returns the favor to his teammate with a big pin save. Crow chases Necro around the ring and follows him up the ramp and the ref reaches the 10 count with Crow still on the outside! Crow must not have realized the Danger Zone No Countout rule is not in effect in Champions Hall.

-“Hardcore” Jim Steel fights valiantly against the 2 Glads but is finally overwhelmed by Scar with a Gladiator Piledriver and is pinned.

---In a PG-CLONE ZONE Tag Bout, fan favorites Freak Out and Kevin Butcher put a whipping on Blade Machismo and Rottweiler Dan but Blade ends up in the ring with Kevin Butcher and takes a beating. Freak Out makes a pin save and as the ref puts Freak Out on the apron, Rottweiler Dan nails Kevin with the chain from his choke collar and Blade uses a Super Fall Away Slam for the easy win.




---In a Pictor 4 Corners Match, Magnifico got a sober Narcotik to fight! Amazing 5 star match with many 3 corner successes but failed on the 4th corner. Narcotik hits NEEDLE AND THE SPOON and touches all 4 corners for the big win!

---In the 1st Speed Zone Bout of the year, Chalupacabra dominates La Vuelta for the entire match, putting 4 tokens on him. But La Vuelta won’t stay down. He hits CHOKE TRASERO de DESNUDO and gets the amazing come-from-behind win!




---In a 6 Man Tag Match featuring the GWFZoo, the team of Andromeda Dragon, Ram Jam, and Chuck the Roo defeat Jack Rabbid, Cernunnos, and Tortalis when Dragon taps out Tortalis with LIZARD LOCK. Chuck and AD tried not to tag in Ram Jam to try and protect him but he got in there and rolled a 9 when he hit Ram Jam. Close call fans.


...After the match, POWERSLAM comes down and does an interview with Andromeda Dragon...

Powerslam: Dragon, how come you are being forced to wear a Starfish costume?

---In a 2-Out-Of-3 Falls Match, Pride and Assassin Z put on a classic! Fall 1 sees Pride dominate AZ like nobody ever has before. He puts 7 tokens on AZ and beats him with PRIDE PUMP HANDLE SLAM!

Fall 2 sees an almost reversal from the beginning of the match and AZ puts 6 tokens on Pride (all on Kudome Valentines). Pride refuses to stay down and hits a big PATRIOT MISSILE and wins the match!! 2-0






MAIN EVENT




...Stellar Nexus comes down to sit at ringside for the finals of the NEXUS CUP MEGATOURNAMENT and with the GWFZ UNIVERSAL TAG-TEAM TITLES in his hands. Both teams come out to a big ovation. All 4 competitors shake hands and the match begins...


---In the GWFZ UNIVERSAL TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH, a definite M.O.T.Y. candidate is seen as each wrestler gets 5 tokens or more and each team uses both pin saves. The match finally ends when Titan Kid II hits an amazing top rope Superplex on Shukra and gets the 1, 2, 3!

**ASSASSIN ISLAND**

..A capacity crowd of 1,950 anxiously awaits the show and come to their feet as Master Assassin comes down to the ring. He steps over the bottom rope and takes the mic. He announces that the most important card in history is about to take place. He points to the entrance ramp and out comes two men carrying a display case which holds the prestigious DEATH MASQUE!


Master Assassin also directs the audience’s attention to the rafters and lights illuminate the rafters containing banners of Masked Assassin GWF legends such as Death Masque, Darkos, the Demons of Hydra, and Whiplash. Master Assassin says whoever wins the Death Masque tonight will take their first step to possibly having their banner displayed on Assassin Island..

*MATCH 1*

---Exzcutioner cleans house against both Surgeon and Akuma throughout most of the match. Akuma finally fends him off and sends him to the floor with a thrust kick. Surgeon is down and Akuma goes for a flying leap off the top! Surgeon was playing possum and lifts the knees on Akuma, then rolls him up for the quick pin! Surgeon advances to the Finale!

*MATCH 2*

---Hoodlum looked to get the victory when he hit Dogma with CHAOS THEORY, but Dread Pirate of M83 low blows Hoodlum and throws him shoulder first into the ring post! Dread Pirate hits the weakened dogma with Buccaneer Blast and gets the shocking upset win!

*MATCH 3*

---Death Knight III takes big punishment from both Harm and Kanazawa. Harm looked to have it won when he hit DROP ZONE on DK III but Kanazawa breaks up the pin. Kanazawa then hits Harm with HELL’S RUN and punches his ticket to the Finale!

~INTERMISSION~

***TRIPLE THREAT FINALE MATCH FOR THE DEATH MASQUE***

---Great action between all 3 finalists, Surgeon, Dread Pirate, and Kanazawa. Dread Pirate gets thrown from the ring and Surgeon goes for Lethal Injection, but special ref Eradicator stops him. As Surgeon barks at eradicator, Kanazawa rolls him up and gets a 2 count! Surgeon then reverse a whip into the ropes and then kicks Kanazawa in the gut and then hits Precision Piledriver and Eradicator counts 1, 2, 3!
