I just started watching tna and it seems like every match ends is a roll up cause someone is distracted. After watching 2 cards and seeing that finish at least 5 times I done. Even aj styles and Kurt angle can't save me from that This past week was the week of 1 million roll ups.

Fun Fact: TNA draws the same ratings every week despite constantly telling us that "next week" they have an announcement that will "change wrestling forever." Fun Fact: That rating is actually lower than Deadliest Warrior. And UFC. And Auction Hunters. And 1000 Ways to Die... Fun Fact: Hulk Hogan has had more on screen time then 90% of the TNA roster. Fun Fact: More people watch WWE Superstars on the internet than watch Impact Wrestling on Spike TV. Wow...this is fun... Vidtek, You're doing it wrong! Find a way to work in a fact that includes a pic of Tara (the entire reason behind starting the thread) and you will be forgiven. Actually Mark, I think Vidtek is doing it right. He certainly hit the nail on the head with his fun fact #1. You don't need to post a picture of Tara to find fun in this ;D (at least I don't)

Hey, I started the thread, I make the rules!
Seriously, I figured the TNA thread would become a bash thread in a hurry and I wanted to do something different. I should have known the result.

Sorry to make jokes in what was attempted to be positive. Here's a fun fact that I know even Vidtek will appreciate. Lance Hoyt made his first national TV appearence on TNA. I actually liked the way he was used on TNA better until they did the stupid Guitar Hero / Rockband Gimmick with him.

Okay, Lance Hoyt.
Lance Hoyt was part of a team with Jimmy Rave and Christy Hemme known as the "Rock And Rave Infection". TNA, in a bit of "marketing genius", changed his name to "Lance Rock" to make this work. In doing so, they forced fans to ask the timeless question, "If Lance if the 'rock', and Jimmy's the 'rave', does that make Christy the 'infection'?"
Furthermore, most parents will recognize the name "Lance Rock" from the Nick Jr show "Yo Gabba Gabba". This makes a google image search for that name more than a little amusing, as anyone looking for images of Hoyt will get instead hundreds of photos of a black man decked from head to toe in orange. Conversely, people searching for images of the guy in orange will no doubt wonder why there's a shirtless surly guy in leather pants amid the pics of the dude from Yo Gabba Gabba.

Yeah, I would like to see Hoyt get a run somewhere.. he seemed like he could be good if given a chance.
I actually had no idea they changed his name for that angle, and I was actually watching at the time... one of their worst ideas, IMO. They would have been better off scraping up Van Hammer or something.

The Beautiful People did the paper bag over the head gimmick before Cody Rhodes did.

Here's a take on the earlier "fact":
Some people think being a featured performer on a nationally televised weekly wrestling broadcast automatically means fame and fortune. While fame is certain to a degree, fortune is not so guaranteed. Especially for the infamously underpaid TNA "Knockouts". An illustration of this fact comes in the form of former Knockouts champion Taylor Wilde, who actually had to take a part-time job at Sunglasses Hut to support herself while Knockouts champion and had to turn down touring with the company as champion because the low pay would have resulted in her losing money, as she would have had to cover her own travel expenses.
