I have the Series on DVD and it is one of my favorite shows from the mid-70's and it really still stands the test of time. My favorite episodes are at the beginning with The Ripper, The Zombie and The Vampire. But the full run was really good, too bad the remake wasn't that good...

I think I'm only missing a few episodes. I even made stats for Kolchak in the Marvel Superheroes RPG.

The original movie and series is truly awesome. I hsve tried to get my wife into the show, but I think that even though she liked the Night Stalker movie, the show was too hit or miss for her. The plus for me is Darren McGavin, who I just love as an actor.

Thats Cool & Funny, I had a older friend that watched those episodes first airing create Kolchak for the Call of Cthulhu RPG that he GM'd... I had the films on VHS as the whole series but I no longer have them or a VCR, but I didnt find the films to be that good, the Series for sure I thought was Solid till the end... |

I remember seeing some episodes of this when I was really young. I thought the show was pretty cool. I'm going to have to check out the dvds.
