It all begins again with the historic opening ceremonies for GWFZ TERRITORIES!

Witness the lighting of the torch in the Hall of Fame Zone, as it's first inductees are announced, along with a very special fight card featuring in the MAIN EVENT -

GWFZ UNIVERSAL CHAMPION Assassin Z defending vs. Scar!

From there the festivities get into high gear with the First Annual Super Galaxy Lightspeed Invitational! 32 of the fastest and greatest cruiserweights from all the GWFZ Territories will gather for an incredible 3 card event to crown the first ever LIGHTSPEED CHAMPION!

(card # note: With GWFZT being a major launching point, I've decided to start with card #1, but not ignoring any history. So in the GWFZT, all cards on now numbered the following way: current card #/year/GFITG overall card # (in this case, card # 1312)

The historic, inaugural GWFZ TERRITORIES opening night!

Live! From the HALL OF FAME ZONE, Champions Hall, Ceres (56,000)

Hosted by Mot, Kram and Johnny Rocket w special guest host Commissioner Stellar Nexus!

The early evening festivities feature a jam packed Hall of Fame Zone banquet center, where everyone in attendance is dressed to the nines, and the first wave of Hall of Fame inductees are ushered into history!

HALL OF FAME ZONE INDUCTEES 2125 CLASS: Lifetime achievement honors go to Ensor, Overtime and Strong! These three wrestlers are official inductees, but who no longer wrestle for the GWFZ. Other inductees include current GWFZ UNIVERSAL CHAMPION, Assassin Z. former 2 time GWFZ Champion, Morbid former 2 time GWFZ Champion Umagapotamus, Pride and the only tag team to currently earn entry, Overtime and Pride, aka the formerly known Galaxy's Greatest Tag team.

Strong was unable to attend the function due to prior promotional travel duties for the GWF. He accepted his award via space-satellite with a very simple and effective one word acceptance speech: "STRONG!"

Also not attending live was Overtime, who enters the Hall of Fame Zone both as a singles wrestler, and a tag wrestler along with Pride as the Galaxy's Greatest Tag Team! Overtime accepted his induction via space satellite as well.

"I'd thank to thank my fans, all the opponents I defeated to get here, and of course, myself." says OT

"I wish I could have been there live. I know my fans have missed me, and I've missed them. But I've got bigger and better things on the horizon, and soon enough everyone in the COTGalaxy will know what time it is - OVERTIME!"

when asked what he meant by that comment OT only had this to add:

"Get your popcorn ready!"

Ensor was live in attendance, extremely proud and humbled to be inducted, accepting his entry into the H.O.F.Z live on stage. He was soft spoken, brief, even making mention of his end of the year banishment in the GWF at the hands of Havoc. Ensor promised he'd be ready to avenge that loss in 2126! Ensor was inducted into the Hall by both his former ZDF allies, Pride and Morbid!

In turn, Ensor then took the stage again, inducting Morbid. Morbid did not have an acceptance speech. He humbly accepted his induction and simply vowed to win the GWFZ Universal Title.

Pride took the stage next, inducted also by Ensor. Pride accepted his induction with a light-hearted speech where he concentrated more on putting over the entire GWFZ Territories and the ZDF than himself and his Z career.

Umagapotamus was inducted by both of his allies, Saint Bernard and Cardinal Sin (who spent more time throwing Holy doggy dish water on "all the sinners in the crowd" and lam-basting fans and other wrestlers with their righteous mumbo jumbo than actually talking about Umagapotamus). Umagapotamus didn't seem to mind, if he even noticed, gnawing on his H.O.F.Z. ring while Bernard and Sin bored the crowd with their judgmental thoughts and opinions.

The lowlight of the night came when none-other than Big Superstar tried to get on stage to accept his induction - one that doesn't exist (yet, anyways). It was an awkward moment seeing Superstar flabbergasted that he was not being inducted tonight. "WHATCHYA TALKING ABOUT BROTHER!?" Eventually Freak Out showed up in time to pull Superstar away from the stage and back to his seat.

In the night's final induction, Commissioner Nexus took the stage to usher current GWFZ UNIVERSAL CHAMPION Assassin Z into the H.O.F.Z! A short video package plays highlighting AZ's record-breaking grip on the belt (he defeated Overtime in OT's last Z match for the title and has had it ever since) including big feud victories over G.Q. Stratus and Irish Heat!

Things got uncomfortable when Scar and Necro Butcher showed up unannounced, and tried to storm the stage! Over 50 security guards were needed to keep the peace and carefully remove the Gladiators from the Hall. On his way out, Scar threatened AZ and vowed to take the title in their big Main Event match!

Luckily, the night ended without incident, and fans switched gears, leaving the Banquet Center at Champions Hall and finding their seats in the giant arena, pumped up for card #1 !


GWFZT fight card #1!

The show opens with a bang as the very first man through the curtain is...............CROW!

Fans come unglued when his opponent is revealed.......................in his GWFZ debut, DOGMA!

Kram: OH. MY. GAAAAAAAWD!

Fans remain standing as the two career long rivals are announced...right as the ref calls for the opening bell, he is interrupted by familiar music!



it's...VARSITY!

Varsity storms the ring, grabs the mic and flashes an unimpressed look at both Crow and Dogma. Varsity says it's been years since the fans have had the privilege of seeing "the real Varsity" wrestle! But those times are over! Varsity says "the real deal, Heck on Wheels is here to stay!"

* In the historic first ever GWFZT match in the GFITG, Dogma defeats Crow and Varsity in a TIRION TRIPLE THREAT MATCH.

Varsity almost had the match won with The Twister on Crow, but Dogma breaks up the submission, smashes Crow with his pitchfork and finishes him with THE GRINDER!

The match only touched on what these three are capable of, leaving fans licking their chops in anticipation of future matches involving all three living legends vs. each other!

After the match, Varsity made sure everyone understood that because he was not pinned or submitted in the match, he remains "undefeated!" in GWFZT competition.


Tournament Master walks down the aisle with microphone in hand, draped in championship titles, proudly bragging and telling stories of how he won each one to the dismay of the crowd! TM promises to "sweep the GWFZ" and capture "every single title out there...." including the SOS Title! "A true champion doesn't let a little thing like sexism get in his way" he says.

* Tournament Master stumbles out of the blocks on his road to glory, getting man-handled by Dr. Payne before getting himself disqualified with Title Quest (shot to the skull with one of his many title belts)


In a major highlight, the SUDDEN DEATH TITLE is named an OFFICIAL GWFZ TERRITORIES CHAMPIONSHIP (this will be added to the GWFZT Handbook V2 so listen up!) [/size]

Rules for the SUDDEN DEATH TITLE are as follows:* The title is only defended in the Hall of Fame Zone, and/or in the Zone/Territory of the current champion.

* EVERY FIGHTER IN THE ENTIRE GWFZ TERRITORIES is eligible to challenge for the belt every time it is defended!

* A high-tech teleportation machine is rolled out onto the stage before each defense. The randomizer flashes holo-visions of hundreds of wrestlers at a high rate of speed before eventually slowing down and revealing the SUDDEN DEATH CHALLENGER!

That fighter is the instantly teleported to the arena on the spot! No one knows who the challenger will be until that very moment! The randomizer makes for some pretty intense and exciting moments for the champion, the challenger and most importantly the greatest fans in the galaxy! [/i][/color]


Professor Sudden leads the ominous force known as The Phenomenal Swift (c) to the ring for the his SUDDEN DEATH TITLE defense...

The Sudden Death randomizer begins, the crowd's excitement building as hundreds of popular fighters faces flash across the big screen, any one of them ready to beam to the ring at any moment!

"WELCOME TO Z-IS-KID RUMBLE!"


* Y2K "Kid Rumble" stuns The Phenomenal Swift early, putting two quick tokens on him, but then misses a big deathjump, and getting caught with MIND ERASER!

Y2K impresses big time in his debut, but falls short of taking the belt from The Phenomenal Swift.


* In a dream match come true, Freak Out wins his GWFZ debut, using FLYING ELBOW DROP two consecutive times to beat Pride 1-2-3!


* In classic Big Superstar fashion, the living legend takes a serious beating from Umagapotamus before making a big comeback, hitting the big boot and SUPERSTAR DROP for the pin!

After the match Big Superstar said his immediate goal is to enter the chance to become the first ever EARTH WORLD CHAMPION and "re-gain my belt, brother!"


* In a classic match-up of former tag team partners and H.O.F.Z . inductees, Ensor needs ERUPTION OF THARSIS' and a 450 splash two times in a row to keep Morbid down for the pin.

After the match the two career long allies shake hands to the delight of the crowd.


and in the MAIN EVENT...


* GWFZ UNIVERSAL CHAMPION Assassin Z successfully defends his title vs. Scar, proving too much for the giant Aethran, using ROLLING OLYMPIC HELL to tap the monster in the middle of the ring!

The show ends with AZ standing triumphant on the turnbuckle, holding the GWFZ UNIVERSAL TITLE high up over his head...

* In the historic opening match, newcomer Hoodlum (6 tokens) beats the slowest cruiser in the tournament, Shell Shocker 9 tokens). Hoodlum wins a great match where SS kept kicking out of everything.


* Mike Quackenbush makes his futuristic debut, dominating Jack Rabbid! Quack wins with QUACKENDRIVER II.


* Carson P. Century is too much for Dread Pirate of M83, putting him down with an Asian Spike.


* Jupiter impresses, winning an exciting fight vs. Manic, forcing his masked rival to tap to GORDIAN KNOT


The crowd comes unglued with boos as the next man out of the curtain is...

VARSITY!

Varsity enters the ring, grabs the mic and runs down his opponent, Narcotik! Varsity brings up Narcotik's long battle with drug abuse, openly questioning why Stellar Nexus would even allow Narcotik in the tournament...Varsity rips into the crowd for continuing to cheer for Narcotik...

"...when my opponent's music begins, and he stumbles out here in a drugged up stupor, make sure to cheer him like you always do! (Varsity begins pointing to different people in the crowd) ENABLER! ENABLER! ENABLER! You're ALL ENABLERS!"

Narcotik's music begins and............................

he comes out completely sober! Varsity kicks the bottom rope with frustration!


* It matters not, as Varsity out-wrestles Narcotik, softening him up with The Twister before submitting him with a beautifully executed BY THE BOOK!

After the match Varsity celebrates big time, gloating endlessly about his victory.


* Torque wins big in a match featuring two Speed Zone rivals against Shiitake Jr. after his TORQUE SALT DROP!


* In the most anticipated match of the day 1 following the random draws, Mr. Vega (4 tokens) defeats his arch-rival Illustrious (7 tokens) in an amazing match. Vega catches Illustrious coming off the top rope with a small package for win!


* In the first big upset of round 1, Undercover Alien beats Chronoking when Chronocharge backfires!

GWFZ TERRITORIES SUMMER SCHEDULE!

Here is a sneak-peak at this summers HOT GWFZT schedule as we tour the galaxy one at a time!

Following the inaugural Hall of Fame opening ceremonies, and the historic 1st ever LIGHTSPEED INVITATIONAL, the GWFZ embarks on a full-scale tour of the galaxy this summer! Here is the tentative line-up:

* Plans are in place for the PG-WRESTLING season 1 reality TV show to begin soon. The show features wrestlers vying for fame and fortune, where the winner advances on to the territory of his choice.


* UFZ #1/ MMA UPRISING - The UFZ is currently working out a deal with Mr. Vega to host their inaugural event at his Vega Hotel and Casino! The event is rumored to feature a one night tournament to crown the first ever UFZ ULTIMATE CHAMPION! There are no weight classes, so fighters of all sizes will compete with each other. The biggest news so far seems to be that Titan MMA star, Stryker has inked a deal to enter the tournament!


* ORIGINAL SIN: HARDCORE HOMECOMING - The original, old school, underground hardcore fighters will be featured in an event dedicated solely to them! Varsity, Crow, Dogma, Y2K, Hardcore Jim Steel, Ace, Scorpio, Crooked Heels, Grindhouse, Cardiak and more!


* LEADER OF THE PACK #1 - In this event, it's all Animen in the kick off to the Leader of the Pack finals at the end of the season! Rumors are this event will feature all the Animan in one giant Gauntlet Match.


* NEXUS CUP - The biggest event of the summer. 32 tag teams competing over 3 days. Rumor is the GWFZ UNIVERSAL TAG TEAM TITLES (currently held by the Headliners) will be on the line in the tournament!


* WRESTLEMANIA REVIVAL - The All-Earth Zone is bringing back the most well known super card name in Earth's history! WRESTLEMANIA REVIVAL will feature a crowing of the new EARTH WORLD CHAMPION!

* In the historic first ever GFITG MMA match, Chuck the Roo (7 tokens) and Pullos (8 tokens) bring the house down!

Chuck barely escapes the 1st round, locked in CHICKEN CHOKE at the bell!

Round 2 is the total opposite! Chuck comes back, battering Pullos and locking him in REAR NAKED CHOKE, but Pullos survives...

Round 3 goes to Chuck again, as he dominates Pullos putting several tokens on him but cannot keep him down

It ends at the end of round 4 when Pullos slips in CHICKEN CHOKE tight, forcing Chuck to pass out with only ten seconds left in the round...

WINNER BY TAP OUT 4th round: Pullos


* La Vuelta (2 tokens) dominates Stryker (5 tokens) for 4 1/2 rounds before finally finishing him with CHOKE TRASERO de DESNUDO

La Vuelta kept Stryker down the whole fight with various chokes and tons of knee strikes. Stryker took a lot of punishment and only came close to hurting La Vuelta near the end of round 3 with a quick flurry...tough night for the Titan. La Vuelta was simply better at the ground game and didn't allow Stryker to stand and bang

WINNER BY TAP OUT 4th round: La Vuelta submission


Doctor Payne gets a huge ovation from the crowd coming out. The ladies love him. Maul is a virtual unknown who's been riding the media wave upon entering GWFZ Territories...

* Overhand right by Maul catches DP out of nowhere and he goes down. Maul with MAULING! Maul grabs the cage as he pounds DP wth everything he's got and it's over in 18 seconds!

Winner by KO 18 seconds into the 1st round: Maul


* Pi vs. Ripper is next

Round 1 is a draw as both men size each other up...

Round 2 is all Pi! His two finisher s destroy Ripper the whole round but Ripper holds on...

Things slow down in round 3 with only Pi getting in any real offense right at the end...

The first round comes to an end in the opening seconds of Round 4 when Pi locks in TRANSCENDENTAL PLANE

Round 2 begins, Pullos is running around like a chicken with his head cut off...he shoots for a double leg takedown and gets caught with a guillotine choke. He's in trouble. CHOKE TRASENDO de DESNUDO and the ref stops it! Pullos is out.

* Maul is quickly becoming super over in the UFZ, earning his 2nd straight 1st round KO with MAULING! Maul takes Pi down early and often, showing relentless fury. He ends it with only a few seconds left in the 1st round

Mr. Vega enters the ring to thank everyone for showing up tonight. He hypes the finals and plugs his new slot machines. All of a sudden Mr. Vega is interrupted by...Tournament Master! Tournament Master tells Mr. Vega to "get out of MY ring" TM proceeds to challenge the winner of tonight Main Event when Vega interrupts him with a super kick to the jaw! Mr. Vega will have none of that!

Mr. Vega challenges Tournament Master to fight on the spot!

* Mr. Vega lays waste to Tournament Master in no time, pinning him with 24/7. TM was clearly unprepared, no match for a fiery Mr. Vega in his home town.

The arena is amazing. It's literally a giant pit in the middle of the jungle, with seats rising up like a coliseum. The ring is the middle of the pit and a tons of space around is is roped off where the fighters are legally allowed to fight outside the ring.

Rules: No DQ's and no count outs. After each fall the next wrestler comes out through the jungle...last man standing is the new LEADER OF THE PACK!
