Does anyone else here watch NWA Hollywood? in California they have a weekly TV broadcast. Although here in Las Vegas we get alot of California stuff (i.e. Angels, Dodgers, Padres, Lakers, Clippers, LA Kings, and Anaheim Ducks games) on our local TV, we don't get NWA Hollywood, so I watch it through their website where they post all their TV broadcasts: nwahollywood.com/main/So far I am all the way through Episode 45 and I may watch Episode 46 (which aired last weekend) later tonight. although NWA Hollywood is not as good as PWG, it is a good Indy fed to check out for free. The recent series of matches between Scorpio Sky and Austin Aries were particularly good. NWA Hollywood (which has its tapings in Hollywood about 15 minutes away from where PWG runs their shows in Reseda) includes alot of the non-ROH PWG talent such as Excalibur, Joey Ryan, Scorpio Sky, the RockNES Monsters, Willie Mack, Candice LeRae, Ryan Taylor, Brian Cage, and referee Rick Knox (who recently appeared on Smackdown as Christian's "lawyer.") Some of the non PWG wrestlers in NWA Hollywood include Joey Kaos and LOTF's Adam Pearce (who earlier this year was the NWA Champion.) Austin Aries recently left for TNA and Colt Cabana was also a regular in NWA Hollywood but was part of an injury angle in Episode 45 and it is widely speculated that he may be leaving for the WWE. Right now in NWA Hollywood, they are finishing a tournament to determine their TV champion and Natural Selection (Brian Cage and Shaun Rickers, managed by Percy Pringle) are the current Heritage Tag Team Champions.

As I am starting to watch Episode 46 before Smackdown starts, I see there are now new Heritage Tag Team Champions- the Tribe.

Hey Mr. Vegas, since you're an NWA Hollywood and PWG fan like myself, did you read about Joey Ryan? It really has me wondering what happened, but here's the story:
Joey Ryan issued a statement to PWInsider.com announcing he had left NWA Championship Wrestling from Hollywood, where he had been working as both a wrestler and the booker. The promotion confirmed Ryan's release to PWInsider.com, but noted that had no comment on the matter beyond wishing Ryan "all the best." Ryan's statement reads as follows:
On the afternoon of August 4th, I was informed that due to internal conflicts between myself and the company, I was being relieved of my duties as Senior Producer of NWA Championship Wrestling From Hollywood.
I wanted to take a moment to thank all of the cast and crew who worked so hard for me during my tenure there. I also wanted to thank the fans because without them, there is no show. Lastly, thank you to the NWA and KDOC-TV Los Angeles for the opportunity they provided me.
I was also informed that I would no longer be utilized as talent for the program. I wish everybody remaining there the best of luck and hope you as fans will continue to support the brand.
I hope I can count on your continued support for me as well. You can keep up with me by following me on Twitter at twitter.com/JoeyRyanOnline or on Facebook at Facebook.com/JoeyRyanOnline and promoters looking for booking info can contact me at joeyryan@hotmail.com as well.
Thank you,
Joey Ryan

Thank you, Joey Ryan No, I hadn't heard that about Joey Ryan. That's too bad because I thought Ryan did a good job booking NWA Hollywood and I will miss watching him on the NWA Hollywood broadcasts. At least he is still in PWG though. I remember being one of the only people in the building cheering for Joey Ryan when he won the Battle of Los Angeles last year.

Congrats Grant! That's awesome news. I record and watch the show every week, so this'll make it even better. That said, Grant, does that mean you can sign yourself for LOTF now for a SE Announcer card?

I am working on getting caught up on the NWA Hollywood episodes on their website (I think I am two behind right now) so I am current when Grant makes his on screen debut interviewing Stu and the Family Stone. I think it would be really cool if NWA Hollywood someday has a full time commentary team of PWG's Excalibur and Toasterboy! hopefully Grant managed to talk himself into signing for an LOTF card. Vegas Wrestling Guerrilla could use another commentator and interviewer.

It would be funny as hell, incredibly fun, and perfect to bring in more people.

Excalibur is already arguably IMO the greatest commentator in all of Indy wrestling ( especially when he commentates for PWG) and Grant has undeniable potential talent as a commentator which I witnessed again live last January at Wrestle Reunion 5 when Grant interacted really well with Piper during his video promo.
