Because of his constant booking in Japan, current PWG World Champion Davey Richards abdicated the PWG World Championship (but he'll be back in PWG in 2011 for a chance to regain the title which nobody actually defeated him for)
the next PWG World Champion will be determined at PWG's next show The Curse of Guerrilla Island which takes place on October 9th.
The next champion will be the winner of a fatal fourway match between the 4 semi-finalists of last month's 2010 Battle of Los Angeles:
Joey Ryan (who won BOLA)
Chris Hero (a former champion who held the pWG World Championship longer than anyone else)
Claudio Castagnoli
Brandon Gatson (who I still think is winning the PWG Wirld Championshio at some point- even if it isn't at this next show)
