January 7th, Year 1
WWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNEY
Konnan v. Steve Williams Dr. Death is just too strong, and overpowers K-Dog finishing him off with a football tackle. **
Jimmy Snuka v. Ted Dibiase After fighting back and forth, Superfly seemed to have the match in hand dominating the Million Dollar Man with chops. He hit a Piledriver, then went up to the top to finish off Dibiase, but Virgil was able to pull his employer out of the way of the SUPERFLY LEAP. The Million Dollar Man recovered, and slapped on the MILLION DOLLAR DREAM for the win. ****1/2
Diamond Dallas Page v. Justin Credible DDP and Justin Credible have a wild brawl in and out of the ring, but with a distraction by Sensational Sherri, Credible is able to hit DDP wirh a SINGAPORE CANE shot followed by THAT'S INCREDIBLE for the three count. ***1/2
Rick Rude v. The Sandman Another wild brawl erupts as the match takes place more outside the ring then inside the ring. Heenan slips Rude a chair, and distracts the referee, but the Sandman grabs his Singapore Cane, and as the referee turns around strikes Rude in the stomach. The ref calls for the DQ, and Rick Rude gets the victory.***
Ivan Koloff v. Jim Duggan Duggan gets the crowd involved with "USA" chants, but the support of the crowd was not enough. The Russian Bear lives up to his name as he crushes the oxygen out of Duggan's body with the RUSSIAN BEARHUG. **1/2

WWA CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT
ROUND1 CONTINUED
Dan Severn v. The Sheik A very wild match with Severn locking hold, and the Sheik brawling to get out of them. Farouk got the referee's attention at the right time leaving the wild Sheik free to throw a FIREBALL and gain the win.***1/2
Steve Corino v. The Terrible Turk The match started out a bit funny as Nikita had Volkoff come down to sing the Russian national anthem.... The Turk seemed to have no idea what was going on, and could could be seen asking Nikita "Gold?". In the ring the Turk came back from being hit from the OLD SCHOOL EXPULSION, but is DQ'ed for using the STRANGLEHOLD, and refusing to let it go after the 5 count when Corino got to the ropes.***
King Kong Bundy v. Sabu Sabu finds it a tough going vs. the enormous Bundy. Heenan tried to distract the ref, but only led to Sabu hitting an Arabian Facebuster followed up with the TRIPLE JUMP MOONSAULT. Heenan was livid after the match yelling at KKB as the fans chanted "Weasel". ***
WWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 2
Steve Williams v. Ted Dibiase Dibiase took the early advantage, but Jimmy Snuka and Lou Albano came down to the ring, first knoking Virgil out, then distracting the Million $$$ Man so much to give Dr. Death the opening he needed to smash Dibiase with the OK STAMPEDE. ****
Justin Credible v. Rick Rude After a Superkick and THAT'S INCREDIBLE, Rude survives thanks mostly to the interference of the Brain Heenan. Rude is able to hit hit a wicked swinging neckbreaker followed by the RUDE AWAKENING to pin Credible. ****

January 21st, Year 1
WWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 2
Ivan Koloff v. The Sheik Ivan Koloff with Nikita in his corner goes toe to toe with The Sheik who had his manager Farouk accompanying him. It looked like a replay of the Sheik's 1st round match as Farouk distracted the referee allowing the sadistic Syrian to hit his FIREBALL, but Nikita was able to use his distraction skills to keep the ref busy long enough for Koloff to recover. Koloff was able to kick out at 2 & 3/4. The rest turned into a Koloff reversal, and the powerful Russian locked on the RUSSIAN BEAR HUG, but Sheik was able to reach the ropes with help from Farouk. The referee had seen enough, and sent both managers to the back as the Sheik gained his wits launching another FIREBALL into Koloff's face! The Sheik was then finally able to get the 3 count. ******(Best match I've ever played in LOW)
Sabu v. Steve Corino The 2 battled back and forth with Corino hitting OLD SCHOOL EXPULSION, and Sabu landing the TRIPLE JUMP MOONSAULT. The action later spilled outside the ring where Sabu was able to knock Corino over the railing, and into the crowd. Dazed, Corino was unable to make it back into the ring, and was counted out. ***1/2
WWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 3
Rick Rude v. Steve Williams It took Heenan's help, 3 piledrivers, and 4 RUDE AWAKENINGS for "The Ravishing One" to pick up the pin over Dr. Death, and advance to the tournament finals. If Williams would have gotten any offense going this could have been a match for the decades. ***1/2
Sabu v. The Sheik Nephew and Uncle meet up in a crazy back and forth brawl. Sheik proves that family ties mean nothing when he FIREBALLS his nephew. He then followed it up with CAMEL CLUTCH for the win. ****
Captain Lou and Jimmy Snuka where doing an interview when Ted Dibiase and Virgil attacked from behind. Virgil took out Albano with a chair as Dibiase came in from behind, and locked the MILLION DOLLAR DREAM onto Snuka until he was unconscious. "You two cost me my chance at the WWA title.", said Dibiase. "And I'll spend as much as it takes to make you pay jungle boy!" He then clapped his hands together twice, and 2 butlers came out with drinks in coconuts, and umbrella straws. Dibiase and Virgil raised there glasses in a toast, then take a drink, and spit it out on Snuka. "Hahahaha!!"(classic Dibiase laugh)
WWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS
Rick Rude v. The Sheik Both men had been relying heavily on their managers to make it through the tournament, but the referee would have none of it, and demanded that both manager be banned from ringside for this important match. The 2 fought inside and outside the ring with momentum going from one wrestler to the other. The Sheik made the 1st big mistake however, and missed a turnbuckle charge. Rude was unable to get the pin with a quick roll up, but then hit the RUDE AWAKENING winning the WWA Championship. Heenan ran out from the back, and grabbed the title. Holding it up in the air as boos rained down on the new champ. ****

January 28th, Year 1
The show opened up with Bobby Heenan and Rick Rude slowly walking to the ring to Rude's trademark music. Heenan held the the WWA title, and talked trash to the fans at rindside on the way down. Rude grabbed a mic:
"What I need right now is all you fat, out of shape, Alabama sweat hogs to keep the noise down while I show your women what a real man looks like!"
To an array of boos Rude stripped off his rope, and Heenan put the WWA title around his waist. During the hoopla the Sheik slowly creeped his way down the aisle, then attacked Rude from behind. The crowd went wild for the Sheik!!(??)
WWA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 1
The Regulators(Orton jr./Hutton) v. The Kangaroos The 2 teams fought back and forth with a lot of frequent tags, but Costello eventually got caught in the Regulator corner, and was finished off by an Orton SUPERPLEX. ***1/2
Diamond Dallas Page v. The Terrible Turk Nikita boasts to start the match about how unbeatable his Turk is, and the match seems to go that way as TT dominates DDP, but the blood hungry Turk uses an illegal version of the STRANGLEHOLD and is DQ'ed. *1/2
WWA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 1
The Armstrongs v. The Midnight Express Brad and Bob work smoothly in the ring together, tagging in and out, and double teaming both Lane and Eaton. It wasn't enough though as Brad is crushed by a VEG-O-MATIC, and the Midnight Express advances. ***
The Flying Reds v. The Regime(Volkoff/I. Sheik) The speed of the Flying Reds wasn't enough to hold off the raw power of Volkoff, and the Iron Sheik. Iron Sheik is able to slap the CAMEL CLUTCH onto Lyons right after Nikolai used his BACKBREAKER DROP to get the submission victory. **1/2
Captain Lou Albano comes out with Jimmy Snuka, and challenges Ted Dibiase to fight Snuka again on the next card. Dibiase comes out with Virgil, and accepts.
"You're nothing but a Tarzan wannabe Snuka... wait let me put it into words you'll understand; You..Tarzan..Me..Ted! Hahaha!"
WWA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 1
Italian Stallions(Dipaolo/Rocca) v. The Road Warriors In the final match of the 1st Round the Road Warriors and the Stallions face off in a wild match that spent as much time outside of the ring as inside. Rocca is pinned, but it takes 3 DOOMSDAY DEVICES to finish him off. ****

February 6th, Year 1
WWA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND2
The Regulators v. The Midnight Express The Regulators reach the Finals as they tough it out over the Express, and the constant distractions and interference of Jim Cornette. The Match ends when Stan Lane is hit with Orton's SUPERPLEX. ***
The Regime v. The Road Warriors The Regime looks to be on their way to a victory as Hawk is locked in the CAMEL CLUTCH, but Paul Ellering interferes, and the momentum of the match switches. Nikolai is eventually caught in the Road Warrior corner, and hit with the DOOMSDAY DEVICE to advance and face the Regulators. ***1/2
Don Muraco v. SD Jones SD Jones comes out a ball of energy, but Muraco's power is too much. After hitting an Asiatic Spike, and the HAWAIIAN HAMMER he picks up the 3 count. ***
Ted Dibiase v. Jimmy Snuka Surviving 2 MILLION DOLLAR DREAMS, and the constant shenanigans of Virgil at ringside Snuka gets a measure of revenge on the "Million Dollar Man" with a SUPERFLY LEAP for the win. ****
WWA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS
The Regulators v. The Road Warriors The 2 teams battle back and forth with constant tags in and out, but the Road Warriors become the first EWA Tag Team Champions as Orton is hit with 2 straight DOOMSDAY DEVICES. ***1/2

February 13th, Year 1
Harker Dirge v. Cousin Luke Harker comes out a house of fire attacking Cousin Luke before the bell. Luke is able to turn it around however, and hits the HILLBILLY DROP, but Dirge kicks out at 2. Harker regains the momentum, and puts Luke out with a DIRT NAP. ***1/2
Bobby Heenan comes out, and introduces his tag team named: Very Bad Things. "First you have "The Hammer" Greg Valentine, and then there's "The Crippler" Ray Stevens, and I promise you they'll do Very Bad Things to every team in the WWA!!"
"So if there is anyone out there who would like to try their luck come on out. This is an open invitation to all you stupid idiots in the back."
On that Captain Lou Albano comes out with Samu and Alofa, The Wild Somoans!!
Very Bad Things v. The Wild Somoans The two teams fight back and forth in a very physical match with action outside and inside the ring, but it finally ended when Valentine was able to lock the FIGURE FOUR on Alofa as Stevens took care of Samu, forcing Alofa to submit. ***1/2
Ivan Koloff v. SD Jones Koloff made very short work of "Special Delivery", and made him submit to the RUSSIAN BEARHUG.*1/2 After the match Koloff's manager Nikita Breznikov ranted on and on about Russian dominance until Dr. Death came out: "Shut your *bleep* Commie mouth! You think your boy can handle Dr. Death?" Nikita shook his head yes: "Of course you are inferior!" - "Fine you little wannabe Dictator, next week I'll put him and you in your place!!"
Konnan v. The Sheik Farouk grabbed a mic before the match started. "Heenan thinks he can walk all over me. Makes me put Sheik in match to prove he can fight the Rick Rude. Fine. We destroy him then destroy Rude!" The fans went crazy at the announcement that Rude would soon take a beating. The match itself was dominated by the Sheik who forced K-Dog to submit to the CAMEL CLUTCH, but Farouk made the Sheik continue the hold yelling at Konnan: "How you like that Rude-boy?!" Finally Justin Credible and Steve Corino came to Konnan's aid, but the damage had been done. **1/2
The BodyDonnas v. The Killer Bees Both teams make their EWA debuts with the Donnas in control for most of the match, but the sneaky Bees use a little bit of "masked confusion" to swing the tide. Brunzell hits 3 straight KILLER DROPKICKS on Candido, but it was Blair's SLEEPER that finally put him out. ***1/2
The arena goes dark as a video is played on the big screen: Lighting flashes as thunder shakes the arena. Then a high-flying montage of Jushin Lyger plays with the words: FROM JAPAN TO THE WWA THE THUNDER IS COMING!!
Rude does his usual taunting of the crowd, and strip tease after getting into the ring, but he adds something for Farouk and the Sheik: "You really think your little savage can beat me Farouk? I'm the definition of "Real Man" while Sheik is nothing more than a little sniveling boy trapped in a man's body because his daddy hit him too much. Since I'm taking next week off to show your wife what sand looks like without camel droppings everywhere on a romantic beach getaway on the coast. I'll let you know that I have a ready made contract for a match on the 28th for you to sign so I'll see you then."
WWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP NON-TITLE Rick Rude(c) v. Koko B. Ware Rude seems to just be toying with Koko to open up the match rotating his hips after every move, allowing "The Birdman" to get to his feet. With the crowd behind him however Koko rallied and hit the GHOSTBUSTER only getting a 2 count though. Heenan seized the opportunity as Koko continued to get the crowd riled up to distract the referee and Koko allowing Rude to come up from behind, and schoolboy B. Ware for the 3 count. ****

The Kangaroos v. The Flying Reds The 'Roos are able to ground the high flying skills of the Flying Reds, and are able to finish them off with a BOOMERANG on Bastien. **
The Jushin Lyger promo is played again.
Harker Dirge v. The Sandman Dirge and the Sandman brawl back and forth in a very physical match. Harker survives a SINGAPORE CANE shot to come back and hit a wicked swinging neckbreaker for the win. ***
Ted Dibiase and Virgil come out, and Dibiase grabs a mic.
"Albano! You and your little Fiji Monkey Boy have gotten lucky. I may have had a setback, but I'm on my way to the top. I have the cash to make it. You don't have the coconuts to come down here."
Capt. Lou and Snuka quickly make their appearance, and Lou challenges Dibiase to take on Snuka right now. Dibiase quickly accepts, but on Virgil's behalf.
Jimmy Snuka v. Virgil Virgil does rather well with the constant help of Dibiase at ringside. Snuka's skill is just too much though, and wins after a piledriver.***
Dibiase attacks Snuka after the match while he's celebrating, then throws Albano out of the ring. Virgil and Dibiase continue their attack on Snuka until Albano gestures to the back, and the Wild Somoans come down to help. Dibiase escapes using Virgil as a shield. Both Somoans hit Virgil with Somoan Drops.
Ivan Koloff v. Dr. Death Nikita brings down Nikolai Volkoff down with him and Koloff to sing the Russian national anthem, but after Dr. Death hits the OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE Volkoff attempts to interfere. Dr. Death gives the two Russian's a noggin' knocker. Nikita then tries to distact Williams, but gets a clotheline for his trouble. Another OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE later and Dr. D picks up the win.***1/2
Farouk and The Sheik come out. "Now I know why these people call you weasel. We got contract, but it's a non-title match. That was not deal."
Suddenly Rude and Heenan come out laughing at the two, but it's just a distraction as Very Bad Things attack from behind. The Sheik is left in a bloody heap, as Rude holds his WWA title over him to boos from the fans.
WWA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The Road Warriors(c) v. The Regulators The 2 teams battle back and forth, but the Roadies are able to trap Orton in their corner, and keep him away from tagging Hutton. Two DOOMSDAY DEVICES, and a 3 count later they had successfully defended their belts. ***
