Heading into 2089 tempers have flared and my tag champs are ready to call it quits. Facing Titan Power and losing by DQ(due to Pit Viper's turn) Comrade Terror was furious he was left out of the loop. Executioner thinks his siding with Darkos is a great move. What do I do with the tag titles?
Also, if you pick Alien Corps vs. Headsmen vs. Titan Power should it by Three Way Dance(Elimination), Triple Threat(non-elimination), or Texas Tornado(Non-Elimination or Elimination with everyone in the ring at one time) style?

Are the Henchmen an official tag team? I'm still in 2087.

I think it should be a split, so vacated titles then Terror and Tongsoon vs Pit Viper and Executioner unless you have plans for someone to go single. Terror had an impressive singles run for me.

It seems to me that Alien Corps vs the Headsmen is the logical choice. If, for some reason, it ends in a DQ or Count Out, put the titles up for grabs in a tournament where both teams get a first round bye.

The Henchmen are indeed an official tag team in 2088, Ray. I don't want to do a title tournament, I think there are only three teams that deserve a chance at these titles currently. If they split, both their respective new teams will be getting a title shot, really I just didn't know if a match between them or including Titan Power would be more exciting.

What do I do with the tag titles? Of the choices I'd force the issue and go with Henchmen (stay together) vs Titan Power. A career in the GWF is serious business and a title represents significant value. Being a champion on any level would mean more money, power and prestige than any period wrestling without that status. Ambitious driven men like Comrade Terror and Executioner aren't going to walk away from that over personal animus. Play up the underlying tension by driving home that the benefits that come from having one half of the tag titles is what this sport is all about. They need each other while at the same time not having trust or respect in their partnership. An alternative booking formula in the event that these two continue to successfully defend but want to divorce would be to build to a high stakes 'all in' singles match. The devastating stipulation could be that the loser dissolves his right to his half of the tag title....and all the benefits that go with it. The winner momentarily lives the life of Riley and has the esteemed privilege of choosing a partner to carry the lineage forward. Could be an interesting moment in a Feds title history.

What I do when a team holds the Tag Titles and then the official storyline calls for the team to split is have the team continue to defend their titles as normal but then when they finally do lose them, then all hell breaks loose ans the partners go their separate ways holding a grudge against each other and blaming each other for the loss.
To make this happen faster you could always stack the deck against the champions by having them defend against their toughest opponents, a Triple Threat Match (like you already mentioned), or a gauntlet-type situation.
Another idea would be to have Darkos have one of the other Masked Assassins don another mask and sneak attack Comrade Terror before a title defense, injuring him in the process. Either CT has to defend while hurt (and probably lose) or the Henchmen have to vacate the titles. When CT returns from inury Executioner has already moved on, so CT starts teaming with Tongsoon and they both go down their own paths.
However, given the choices you listed, I would go with Henchmen vs. TitanPower.

I think I'll go with the triple threat, but have both of their opportunities on the line against Bomb Squad and Greek Gods. We could end up with a three way face match or a two on one either way.
Thanks for your input and votes! Great ideas, more imaginative then my statistical mind usually goes.
