Who should be Wrestler of the Year?

all my other awards had straight up winners except this one.

Brazil (11-2 record, spent 15 cards as World champion)

Gotch (21-5 record, most wins, current TV champion)

Baba (15-2, won Royal Rumble and King of the Ring, current US champion, only losses - DQ loss to Brazil & countout loss to Mad Dog Vachon)

Snuka (15-5, lost King of the Ring finals to Baba)

Liger (10-2, 13 cards as Light Heavyweight champion, both losses to Tiger Mask)

DiBiase (11-5, current Heavyweight champion)

Tiger Mask (9-0, current Light Heavyweight Champion)

Antonio Inoki (9-4)

I'd go with Baba, not beign Pinned all year and winning to big events sounds like a good year to me.


I have to say when I do year end awards, though, I try to make who wins (or doesn't) useful to an angle if there's not a clear cut winner, which may lead you to one of the other guys.

Assuming Bobo was the longest reigning world champ, I voted for him. The Baba 17 match streak without a pinfall loss is hard to pass up though.
