Hi
I am in the process of converting some rules for interviews/angles that I have from an old wrestling game I designed years ago. The end result should hopefully provide promoters with almost every outcome imaginable from an interview or angle segment. I know....this sounds ambitious, but believe me I spent a lot of time designing my interview/angle system for my last game - literally months on end were spent thinking up angle/interview cards.....I am converting over 300 cut out cardboard cards I made into chart format. I think I may have Wrestling Game Obsessive Compulsive Disorder!!!! Does anyone else suffer from that?
Anyway I wanted to make a system out of the angles and interview segments, as part of this new system I would like to include previously made rules and charts from the open-source content rules......Would it be acceptable if I adapted a few of the charts that are there to fit into this system? There is no point in trying to re-invent the wheel, when someone else has already done a very good job. Obviously I would give acknowledgments to the makers of each chart included in my system...I am specifically interested in the "Interview Interference Chart" by Doc.
Im pretty new to COTG but definately loving it!
Cheers

It's natural that people will relate to CotG concepts dynamically. Static approaches wouldn't be healthy for the game or those who play it. If you are willing to take the time to offer a reinterpretation, enhancement or alternative approach to any previously posted content, it can only serve to benefit the community by creating more options for people to gage and consider. Crediting and acknowledging influences from others is a nice (and in my view important) way to show respect and appreciation, but this doesn't preclude anyone from using their own imagination and talents when publicly addressing the same or similar areas of interest. I look forward to reading about your system.
