What are some of the best and worst single moments for you as a fan of your team?
Being a Lions fan, sadly, I can't really point to any playoff games for my best moment, even though crushing Dallas to advance to the NFC Title game in 91 was pretty sweet.
So my BEST moment (currently) was the moment the Lions drafted Ndamukong Suh. I actually got a tiny little Honolulu Blue and Silver tear in my eye when Roger Goodell announced his name. When he did it instantly removed years of pain and suffering from my soul as a Lions fan. I can honestly say I'm not bothered by anything Millen era anymore. If we had to go through all of that to get Suh, to get where we are today then I'm over it.
My worst was the year they went 0-16, but it came on the 1st play of the 1st game. Matt Ryan (first play!!!!) throws a 75 yard TD bomb. At that moment all my optimism, all my hope, all my loyalty and support for Millen (which was actually very little) went out the window. I called it right then and there that this team would not win another game all year and they didn't. I spent the rest of the year waiting for him to be inevitably fired. Looking back I can't believe it took me that long.
In short -
Best - Ndamukong Suh drafted
Worst - Matt Ryan TD bomb 1st play of 1st game of 0-16 season
Honorable mention for Best - Barry's run when he went over 2,000 yards. Loudest I've ever heard a stadium get for anything ever.
Who else?

Bears fan.
Best moment: Without a doubt the tear the team went on in '85-'86. As far as I'm concerned they are still the standard bearer for all great defenses.
Worst moment: Would have to be the day Walter Payton died. There is a reason that the NFLs Humanitarian award is named after him.

Worst moment #1.
The 98 season when the Vikings went 15-1 and faced The Falcons in the NFC Championship. Gary Anderson hadnt missed a field goal all season, and was automatic from 30+ yards out. Yet on the play that would have put them in the Super Bowl, he shanks an easy 30 yard FG and allows Atlanta to drive down to their end of the field and let Morten Anderson put a 30 yarder through and put Atlanta in the Super Bowl.
Worst Moment #2.
Easily Vikings/Saints NFC Championship. The Vikes killed The Saints in everything, yet Favre was getting his butt handed to him all game long. Then toward the end of the game, on 3rd and whatever Favre takes the hand off and rolls right. Nobody is open and all he has to do is run a couple of yards and slide, then let Longwell put them in the Super Bowl. What does he do, throws across the field into an INT and once again our dream of a Super Bowl goes up in smoke.
Best Moments:
Even though they were all before my time, the 4 Super Bowls the Vikings did go to and eventually lose.
Drafting Randy Moss and the tear he went on before all of his trouble surfaced.

Raiders fan.
I'm not too great with remembering dates but the best for me was their 1983 Super Bowl win over the Washington Redskins. Such a great team with QB Jim Plunkett, Marcus Allen, Lyle Alzado, Lester "stick-um" Hayes, and more.
Easily my worst moment, besides the recent losing years, was their loss to the Patriots in the Playoffs (2001?) following the infamous tuck rule. I'm still calling fumble on Tom Brady, raider recovery, and possible win there. I think I'm fuzzy on the year because I'm still trying to block it out and also I'm too lazy to look it up ;D

HOUSTON TEXANS
Best Moment #1: Easily the very first game of the franchise's existence. Expansion teams just don't win their very first ever game but not only did the Texans win their opener, they beat the Dallas Cowboys 19-10. Beat the Cowboys! Nothing is more satisfying than putting egg on Jerry Jones' face.
Best Moment #2: Last season's opener, blasting the Colts at home after so many close calls and failures...see Worst Moment Ever.
Worst Moment Ever: Rosencopter. The Texans had built a 27-10 lead against the Colts. Indy scores to make it 27-17. The Colts go for an onside kick. Texans recover and start to run out the clock. Sage Rosenfels runs a bootleg, leaps for the first down marker, gets hit and spun in the air, loses the football, Colts pick it up to run it in for a TD to make it 27-24. From there, the Texans fall apart, turning the ball over two more times and end up losing 31-27.

New England Patriots.
Best Moment- Super Bowls aside, going 16-0 in the regular season and making it to the Super Bowl.
Worst Moment (tie) Losing the Super Bowl to the NYG...it was heartbreaking as I wanted to end the Dolphins being the only undefeated champs. Seeing Tom Brady gaining the most TD's in a season and Randy Moss the most TDs in a season for a receiver.
Tom Brady going down in the first game of the year in 2008 vs. the Chiefs to a season-ending knee injury. The bright spot was Matt Cassell coming in and did really well. Ironically, he ended up going to the Chiefs after Pioli left to go there as GM.

Best: Seeing Barry Sanders gain 2,000 yds (in only 14 games as he had 53 yds in the 1st 2 games and finished the season w/2,053).
Worst: SO many to choose from so i will list a few that basically all tie for #1. - Favre throwing that TD pass to S. Sharpe to beat Lions in '93 playoffs. - Mike Utley getting paralyzed on the field. - Erik Andolsek getting struck by a semi truck & killed cuz the driver had fallen asleep. - Matt Millen destroying Detroit football for about a decade. - 0-16.

- Favre throwing that TD pass to S. Sharpe to beat Lions in '93 playoffs. Oh man the worst part of that play is that we were there live (dad's company seats right by the endzone where it happened) and saw that play develop (whereas on TV you wouldn't be able to see that far down the field). The whole stadium saw Sharpe get open and a collective "NOOOO!!" could be heard as Favre released the ball. Everyone knew it was over as soon as he did. Total and absolute heart breaker.

That Packers and Lions playoff game is one of the best games I have seen. That final play Favre to Sharpe was amazing. I still can't believe how open he was.
