I don't mind remakes of movies that came out 50+ years ago. I absolutely hate remakes of nearly anything that came out in the 80's or later. Get over yourselves, Hollywood, and come up with your own crap!
It gets worse in the next couple of years. Now, instead of just refilming an old story, they're just rereleasing them all in 3D. Wonderful attempt at originality.
