I got a voice mail today from someone claiming to be from my bank, Bank of America, and they said there was a problem with my debit card and I needed to call them back right away with the number they provided: 866-459-9195. I got suspicious and called my bank and they said they know nothing about it and that my card is fine. I then Googled the phone number 866-459-9195 and this is what I found out: 800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-866-459-9195So it turns out it was a scam I didn't fall for. I guess it is just smart when someone like that calls you saying there is a problem with your banking, computer, etc, it is a good idea to call them back at a number (not one they give you) where you know you can reach the purported company and verify things.

Yea if I get some unwanted calls (especially if they come to my cell) I usually google it to see if there's any info. There's a pretty big list online of scammer numbers.
