I don't know how to embed videos, but this is an awesome promo from Crusher about Bruno: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULHvxEtkoO0I have endless love for this absolutely ridiculous promo.

This may be cheesy now, but back in the day when I was a kid, this was one of those "WOW" angles that I thought was awesome. Sting being tormented by this Black Scorpion for months, then it turns out to be Flair. I found it to be gold.

The debut of Animal as The Road Warrior in Georgia Championship Wrestling circa 9/82 (with a touch of Sonny King at the top)

This was a teaser from Memphis circa '79. A 26 year old Terry 'The Hulk' Boulder performs a series of intense poses, buffered by a laudatory announcer voice over. Before seeing this, I never knew The Hulkster once was touted to have 26 inch biceps!

From the 'one and done' failed gimmicks department. A make up wearing Harry Del Rios received his big break on an episode of Wrestling Challenge as magic prankster Phantasio. After the taping, an unimpressed Vince quickly changed his mind on the character, and Rios would never work WWF TV again. Tough break!
Phantasio WWF TV Debut/Exit circa 7/16/95

There wasn't much I liked about Bret's WCW run, but this was a great angle. Nitro circa 3/29/99

Florida circa '85: A series of fun segments on the arrival of the 'Bossman' Percy Pringle III. The Pringle Dynasty (Rick Rude, Missing Link and Pretty Young Things) was an impressive 'inject new life into the territory' attempt...but in the end, nothing would stop Vince from taking over. The close out includes a Ric Flair/Buddy Colt interview and a few words from Sweet Brown Sugar, Buddy Roberts and even Uncle Zeb!
