Was talking to Dark Turkey about this. Seems strikers have a big advantage in POW. Reason being is that they can get back to Level 1 Offense on any "Hurt-2" or "Dazed-1" on Level 3 Defense. In other words it is very hard for a grappler to keep and control a fighter on the ground. In a real fight it is very difficult to get back to your feet after getting taken down. To reflect this, I've come up with an escape chart. Use your Grappling Chart rating for your Escape Chart rating. Use this chart whenever the fight is on the ground (Opponent is on Level 3 Offense) and you roll a "Dazed-1" or "Hurt-2" or a "Reversal-1".

Here's my a beta version of my new KO chart. Use one die as the "tens" and the other as the "ones". EX: you roll a "1" and a "6". The roll would be 16. I added in a knockdown effect as well. EX: you hit your opponent with a "Left Hook-1" and they roll their KO/SUB. If they dont get knocked out they have a chance of being knocked to the ground. This also tends to lead to longer matches (which I like). Just a beta version so let me know your thoughts.

I think you should add something like that to the KO chart.
Add the extra bit of realism.

gotcha Turk. I'll throw some of that in there. I also mentioned on the other board that I will be revising the clinch and grappling chart to eliminate referee breaks on the ground and in the clinch.

Without actually trying them out yet, they look good to me.

Just tried about 3 matches. As far as I can tell it accomplishes what I was hoping. If a fighter is taken down it is pretty hard for him to get beck to his feet unless he reverses or gets a ref stand up. The ground guys can actually take a guy down and control them.
