I based this poll upon what ESPN listed.
But why isn't Dirk Nowitzki an option?
He just led the Mavs to the NBA Championship.

He would fall under "other", just like Jeter in NY Poll I actually added the "other" option, it is not on the original poll. But I found out the reason why Nowitzki isn't listed by reading over ESPN's criteria: "Note- If they're still active, they're not eligible." So now I see that is why Nowitzki isn't listed for Dallas, Jeter isn't listed for New York, Kobe isn't listed for LA, Brady isn't listed for Boston, etc. But that still does not explain why Ewing isn't listed for New York. |

First off GREAT polls Vegas.
I only voted for people I've actually seen in my lifetime. Not to say others (Landry) don't deserve it, that's just how I feel like doing it.
So I went with Aikman, Jimmy Johnson (I have unrivaled respect for Mr. Jimmy Johnson), and Emmit Smith.
I would have voted for Lance Armstrong is I thought riding a bike was a sport. But I don't. Even funnier is that dude needed to juice up to ride a bike. Uh, ok.
