I just started getting back into Boxing about three weeks ago with ESPN Friday Night Fights and they've been entertaining bouts so far. Last Friday Mikey Faragon from Albany defeated Ira Terry in a good fight where Faragon is now 16-0 with 7 KO's and the featured bout saw Detroit's Vernon Paris take out Tim Coleman and these two have a very heated rivalry that saw plenty of post-fight trash talking but this was a good fight and at the end of the day both men did atleast paid each other a little respect...

With MMA around (which in itself have been pretty stale for awhile now) I have zero interest in boxing. Boxing forever died when Tyson's career ended.

Boxing is dead. They did it to themselves, but MMA did help give them a kick in the head.

I'm not much for MMA, it never really interested me but I'll agree Boxing is far beyond the Tyson days and before, but the lower level Boxers have put on some really entertaining bouts...

I am sure those guys fight their butts off, but the golden days seem like forever ago.
