Have any of you ever really gave a thought to how long the GWF will last? What would you do if Tom said 2130 was the final game edition? I often wonder these thoughts. Do you see the GWF ever being handed off? Do you see another twenty five years? I mean, it's already pretty damn epic as it is. I honestly hope the game never fades out. Discuss.

However, I can see Tom either ending it totally or handing it off to someone when the time came. Hopefully that will not be in my lifetime!

Oh man, I'm not sure what I'd do. I wouldn't start over as I'm happy with what I have. I'd hope that there'd be some sort of takeover to keep it going. I know we have some talented writers and stuff with Osk, Rob and Mark, so I'd hope something still came out. If not, wow...that's just a hard question to ask. Pure evil

What I wonder is, if Tom has in a will what to do with COTG and/or Filsinger games just in case the unfortunate happened. I know, morbid, but it is a part of life as we know it.

It is a tough question. I'm not going to let 'the end' ruin my fun now. It's just something to think about.

I don't think Tom will ever stop writing the game, and here's why: Tom isn't so much a game creator anymore as he is a professional writer. He's evolved so far beyond simple game creator. Great writers don't just stop writing. They write their whole lives. So Tom will always write the GWF and have playing cards drawn up to go along with his ideas and visions. On the flip side, if he ever did stop, Alex would do a great job with it. People don't realize how involved Alex is because he isn't on the boards, but he is. Alex is the one who inspired the transition to full color. And dude is wise beyond his years, already an impressive writer and philosopher himself. The game is like Wolf. It's eternal.

Yeah, I figured Alex might take over someday. He definitely has an interest in the game and I figured some of the ideas were from a younger mind. Good to know the game will remain in good hands no matter what.
