Revolution 2087 March 30th, 2087
#1 Contenders Tag Team Match: Evil Royals vs Neptunian Space-Croppers
In a high energy opener, the Royals became number 1 contenders to the tag team championship after Exo-King submitted Renegade with the Death Vice. The move seemed to injure Renegade greatly, and he had to be helped back by his partner and other medical team members.
Winners: Evil Royals
Special Attraction: Executioner vs Pulsar
Portions of the crowd took the opportunity to hold up Vanity signs and a Vanity chant was actually started and kept up during most of it. Who knew so many wrestling fans liked cooking shows? Anyway, Executioner beat the newcomer Pulsar pretty easily with a running spear.
Winner: Executioner
Special Attraction: Thantos vs Invincible Krakan
In the battle of 2 men that have been a bit lost in the shuffle the last month or so (though Krakan really has no one but himself to blame after losing to Vanity), Thantos picked up the win with a running clothesline. He promised he would do something to make the GWF take notice. One way or the other....
Winner: Thantos
Galaxian Tag Team Title Match: The Greek Gods (c) vs Gladiators of Aethra
In a very spirited match, the Gladiators were able to finally beat the Gods to win the Galaxian Tag Team Championship! Brute finished off Actagon with a running clothesline, and the Gladiators celebrated their triumph! A GWF representative, fearing interference in the main event, took the opportunity to escort the Gladiators from the arena, by penalty of suspension and stripping of the newly won titles! After a little resistance, Brute and Massacre left claiming "We'll have our chance soon enough, but tonight we celebrate, Aethran style!"
Winners and new Galaxian Tag Team Champions: The Gladiators of Aethra
#1 Contenders Match: Wolf vs Lord Nexus
Wolf (despite his dominance on television) has seemed to choked when it came to the really big matches recently, and sadly, this was no exception. Nexus was able to fight out of a few Savage Face Claw attempts and finished Wolf with the Titan Drop. A clearly very angry Wolf first complained that his tights were pulled on the 3 count, but, again, calmed down after a few moments and showed his respect to the victor....
Winner: Lord Nexus
Galaxian Title Match; Star Warrior (c) vs Massif
As the fans were getting ready for the match, Thantos came out and took a seat at ringside. Both combatants eyed him, perhaps wondering if he was there to help the other. Thantos' hatred of Star Warrior was well known, but...they were partners before and the allure of the title, and keeping the title, may be enough to enlist old friends....
The answer appeared to be given soon enough, as with Massif on the outside of the ring, Thantos taunted the big man, and threw a soda in his face. Star Warrior took advantage, but warned Thantos to stay away (or was it a ruse?). With Massif hurt once again on the outside (but the other side of the ring), Thantos quickly left his seat and attacked...Star Warrior in the ring! This lead to no choice but for the referee to DQ Massif! It was unlikely (but possible) Massif knew what was going on, as the match took a toll on him, but the only thing that mattered as Revolution ended was that it was THANTOS, the overlooked, who was the only one on his feet in the end....
Winner and Still Galaxian Champion: Star Warrior

Awesome stuff. Wolf always had the same problem for me up until he got Amazonia in his corner and he has turned it around since.
Thantos showing why he still is the Evil Gamemaster.

2087 Galaxian Battle Preview Show
Previous Galaxian Battle matches (an 18-man Battle Royal to determine the challenger at WrestleSeries) are shown with the previous winners coming out all bloody and bruised. The final message of the video is "Who Will Survive?"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Story A: Champions, Challengers and Time Limits
Highlights of Revolution are shown, featuring the Gladiators win, Lord Nexus beating Wolf for the #1 contender and Thantos laying out Star Warrior at the end of the show
4/11/87 Interview with Star Warrior and Massif about the events of Revolution: Star Warrior and Massif came out together, and explained that they had a long talk and determined that this was all a plot by Thantos to seed distrust inside the FDF, and they weren't going to fall for it. Thantos came out to interrupt, which put SW and Massif on guard. Thantos said he didn't want a fight "right now", but what he did want was some respect. He demanded a non-title match with Star Warrior on the show and Star Warrior agreed. Thantos went to punch SW in the face, but pulled back and laughed as he headed back to the locker rooms.
4/11/87 - Non-Title Match Gladiators of Aethra vs Flying Titans The Gladiators, still in celebratory mood, made quick work of the Titans with Brute pinning Pit Viper after the Decapitator.
4/11/87 - Non-Title Match Star Warrior vs Thantos In a wild brawl, neither man was able to get the upper-hand on the other. The TV time limit (not for the last time) came into play, and the match was ruled a time-limit draw.
4/18/87 - Non-Title Match Gladiators of Aethra vs The Greek Gods In a non-title rematch from Revolution, The Gods were very nearly able to get revenge (and a title shot) but the time-limit expired with Massacre in the Grecian Sleeper Grip. Another time-limit draw
4/18/87 - Non-Title Rematch Star Warrior vs Thantos This time, the physical and psychological toll Thantos has taken on Star Warrior came into play, as a somewhat off SW fell to the Masterlock! With the win, Thantos had finally earned himself a title opportunity!
4/25/87 - Non-Title Rematch Gladiators of Aethra vs The Greek Gods Another competitive match and another time-limit draw. The fans were becoming quite upset with all the draws and it was decided that the next weeks rematch would be a special no-time-limit match, with the number of matches cut down to make sure there was enough time.
4/25/87 - Galaxian Title Match Star Warrior (c) vs Thantos Though a title match, the time limit was still in effect. With Star Warrior about to finish off Thantos late in the match, the Gamemaster stalled out to the time-limit in a, it must be said, cowardly fashion. Officially, the match was a draw and thus Thantos would "earn" another title match. It was announced that it would also be a no-time-limit match along with the Gladiators/Gods match.
5/2/87 - Non-Title No-Time-Limit Rematch Gladiators of Aethra vs The Greek Gods This time, with no time limit, the Gods were able to overcome the Gladiators when Proteus pinned Massacre after the Overhead Toss! A title match to finally settle matters was made for the next week.
5/2/87 - Galaxian Title Match, No-Time-Limit Star Warrior (c) vs Thantos In a more than 30 minute epic encounter, the Gamemasters plans finally came to fruition, as he pinned Star Warrior after a running clothesline to win the Galaxian Title! Galaxian Battle challenger Lord Nexus was at ringside, and promised to make the Gamemaster's reign "no longer than it has to be". But first.....
5/9/87 - Non-Title Match Thantos vs Massif ....Thantos needed to deal with the other FDF member he messed with: Massif! Thantos was able to escape with a win following another running clothesline (and his feet on the ropes). Though successful, Thantos' championship was looking more than a little shaky.
5/9/87 Lord Nexus vs Executioner Meanwhile, Nexus was rolling. A completely dominant performance over Executioner topped off with a Titan Drop at the 5 minute mark. Thantos looked to be in quite a bit of trouble for Galaxian Battle!
5/9/87 - Galaxian Tag Team Title Match Gladiators of Aethra (c) vs The Greek Gods With both teams having beaten the other recently once (with a few draws thrown in) this was the match to determine this series! With their backs to the wall, the Gladiators did what they do best: slaughter! Massacre pinned Proteus after a vicious atomic knee drop and The Gladiators retain!
5/16/87 Massacre vs Killer Queen Of course, there is no time to rest for the Gladiators (not that they'd want to). The challenge of the Evil Royals was coming at Galaxian Battle, and the teams faced off in singles matches to preview the event. Massacre won this one for the Gladiators defeating Queen after a cross-body block
5/16/87 Brute vs Exo-King The Royals picked up a win too, however, with Exo-King defeating Brute with the Death Vise! This would be no easy picking for the Gladiators come Galaxian Battle!
5/16/87 Star Warrior & Lord Nexus vs Thantos & Executioner Thantos, with his newly won title perhaps in jeopardy, showed why he is the Gamemaster once again. Manipulating Executioner into doing 95% of the work in the match, some miscommunication between SW and Nexus led to Executioner hitting the Headsman Guillotine on Nexus. Thantos finally decided to tag in at this point, locked in the Masterlock to get the win over Nexus and score a crucial psychological blow!
2087 Galaxian Battle - Galaxian Title Match: Thantos (c) vs Lord Nexus Galaxian Tag Team Title Match: Gladiators of Aethra (c) vs Evil Royals -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Story B: The Galaxian Battle Match Warm-Up
The unique aspect of Galaxian Battle is, of course, the Galaxian Battle match itself, the winner of which challenges for the Galaxian Title at the Granddaddy of Them All - WrestleSeries!
4/11/87 Omega vs Vanity The chef cult hero took on the original hero and the increase in intensity brought on at this time of year was apparent. The intense battle ended without a winner, and the two men brawled even after the bell rang at the time-limit!
4/18/87 Massif vs Comrade Terror Two of the favorites for Galaxian Battle faced off, and Terror came out on top with the Comrade Neck Clutch in a little over 13 minutes.
4/25/87 Wolf vs Invincible Krakan Another two of the favorites face off, and Wolf's frustration got to him again. An aggressive mistake by Wolf got him caught in the Falling Face Slam to give Krakan the win.
5/2/87 Wolf vs Vanity Wolf took his frustration out on Vanity, destroying him in under 5 minutes after a neckbreaker.
5/9/87 - Rematch Wolf vs Vanity Wolf, despite his win last week, demanded another match with Vanity (perhaps due to Vanity's increase in popularity, coupled with Wolf's starting to wane a bit) and once again, Wolf finished him with Savage Face Claw.
5/16/87 Neptunian Space-Croppers vs Society of Death The tag teams were involved in the Galaxian Battle match as well, and the intensity in their matches picked up as well! In this match, the NSC defeated the SOD when Beast-Rider pinned Mutant after the Bulldog Ride. Executioner and Death Knight came down to attack the NSC, and soon most of the locker room was out brawling around the arena! Just a taste of what the Galaxian Battle Match would be like!

Yeah, I thought it was funny when I saw your comment, knowing what was about to happen! The point (to me) of the time-limit is to differentiate between SuperCard matches and regular tour/TV matches (or other special matches) without having to go overboard on the gimmick-type matches. Sure, you can see Lord Nexus and Krakan face each other for 15 minutes on TV, but they aren't going to be at their best having to battle the clock too. If you want to see them at their best, come to the SuperCard!
With the lack of jobber squashes on TV today, I kind of wish this would be the direction companies would go in in "reality".....

2087 Galaxian Battle May 17th, 2088
Galaxian Tag Team Title Match: Gladiators of Aethra (c) vs Evil Royals
The Gladiators and Royals brawled around and out of the ring in an out-of-control match. The Royal upset the champions to win the belts after Exo-King pinned Massacre with a Flying Body Crusher.
Winners and new Galaxian Tag Team Champions: Evil Royals
Galaxian Title Match: Thantos (c) vs Lord Nexus
In a grueling near 45 minute match, Thantos successfully defended the Galaxian Title after pinning Titan challenger with a spinebuster. It was a struggle, but the Gamemaster came out on top, once again....
Winner and still Galaxian Champion: Thantos
The 2087 Galaxian Battle Match: Actagon vs. Beast-Rider vs. Commander Sam vs. Comrade Terror vs. Death Knight vs. Executioner vs. Ghengis Khan vs. Invincible Krakan vs. Massif vs. Mutant vs. Omega vs. Pit Viper vs. Proteus vs. Pulsar vs. Renegade vs. Star Warrior vs. Vanity vs. Wolf
The no-holds-barred battle was as wild as usual. Highlights included Vanity eliminating Mutant after hitting him with a frying pan, Omega eliminating old friend Commander Sam, The Flying Titans teaming up to eliminate many men....until Executioner took them both out. Finally it came down, somewhat surprising, to Actagon and Renegade. after a handshake, and 5 minutes of intense action, Renegade charged at Actagon with a cross body. Actagon ducked, and Renegade went over the top. Actagon goes to challenge at Wrestle Series!
Winner of the 2087 Galaxian Battle: Actagon

A lone, darkened figure sits in a chair and speaks: "Thirteen years ago, it started it all. In that time it has become a place where men become heroes (a spotlight is turned on revealing Lord Nexus), heroes become legends (another light, this time on Star Warrior), legends become immortals (this time the Actagon is shown) and immortals become Gods (finally, Omega comes to stand next to the man in the chair. Tonight, stories will be told that will be told and retold through the Galaxy....." Lord Nexus: "Wrestle Series" Star Warrior: "Wrestle Series" Actagon: "Wrestle Series" Lord Nexus: "It's my turn" Star Warrior: "It's my turn" Actagon: "It's my turn" The man in the chair and Omega say simulatinously: "It's their turn now". The narrator leans forward out of the darkness to reveal....MORPHEUS!
2087 Wrestle Series Pre-show, LIVE from Wrestle Series FanFest
A loud crowd welcomes the audience at home as the host for the afternoon's show can barely talk over the noise! "What a start! Thanks to the winner of the first Wrestle Series, Morpheus, for that stirring intorduction! THIS IS WRESTLE SERIES!!!!!" The crowd, somehow, gets even louder
After a few minutes, the crowd finally quiets down enough for the show to continue "Tonight, 8 of the best wrestlers in the entire Galaxy will battle in a single-elimination tournament to crown the Wrestle Series champion for 2087! Later tonight, we will show exactly how the 8 men qualified, 6 through qualifying matches and the last 2 spots being the reigning Galaxian Tag Team champions. But don't forget, we also have that massive Galaxian Title match, with Actagon challenging. It's been an interesting few weeks for both challenger and champion alike. Let's take a look:"
Story A: Actagon's Galaxian Title Challenge
6/7/87 The Greek Gods vs Society of Death Thantos paid the SOD to soften up the Gods, and Actagon in particular, and it showed in this hard-fought match. The Gods just couldn't put away Khan and Mutant, and the match went the full 15 minutes.
6/14/87 The Greek Gods vs Gladiators of Aethra As if the match against the SOD wasn't bad enough, the Gladiators (always interested in a fight, and a payday) took their licks at the Gods too. The Gladiators didn't seem particularly interested in actually winning the match, focusing instead on weakening Actagon. The time-limit expired again, but the Gladiators didn't care. Thantos (who was at ringside) laughed as Actagon had to be helped back by his partner after the match. Little did he know.....
PAUSE!
Side-Story A2: You're dead, old man!
6/14/87 Interview with Thantos After the match, Thantos requested a warm-up of his own. He offered an open challenge to anyone (knowing the Star Warrior, Wolf, Nexus, etc had all wrestled or were scheduled to wrestle later). He seemed amused when Omega came out. "Alright old man, who do you got for me?" "You're looking at him! I may have taught you everything you know, but not everything I know. You want a challenge? Here it is!" "Are you kidding me? You haven't been relevant in 10 years.....(getting angry) YOU'RE DEAD, OLD MAN!!"
6/14/87 - Non-Title Match Thantos vs Omega Thantos, ever the bully when faced with (what he thought was) a weaker opponent, started quickly hitting Omega with every move in his arsenal, leading up to attempting to lock on the Masterlock. Omega countered into a small package, but only got a 2-count. Thantos was really mad now, but missed a deathjump attempt. Omega hit his Cosmic War Dance, and to the shock and delight of the crowd....scored a 3! OMEGA WINS! He earned himself (perhaps) one last chance at the title! Thantos was in shock (once he recovered) and quickly left the arena with his tail between his legs....
6/21/87 - Galaxian Title Match Thantos (c) vs Omega As if to prove last week was no fluke, it was Omega that contolled this, his attempt to turn the clock back and regain the title he once dominated! Finally the action spilled outside the ring, and Thantos whipped Omega into the crowd and barely got back in before the 10 count, defending his title by the slimmest of margins. He took the title and ran out as quick as he could, knowing he was in a fight! The crowd game Omega a standing ovation for his effort. Not the best way to get ready for the challenge of the Greek God..... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Unbelievable action! We almost had a new Galaxian Champion, imagine, Omega defending at Wrestle Series?! Still, a fantastic effort, and one the fans will not soon forget from the legend himself. He will be here later to help with the Wrestle Series draw. Speaking of which, let's see who, and how, the 8 men qualified for the tournament!"
Story B: Wrestle Series Qualifying
5/24/87 - Wrestle Series Qualifier: Wolf vs Mutant This wasn't much of a match, Wolf destorying poor Mutant easily to advance to the tournament with the Savage Face Claw.
5/31/87 - Wrestle Series Qualifier: Massif vs Ghengis Khan Khan tried to do better than his partner yesterday, and in fact, succeeded in pulling off a shocking upset over Massif! He finished the big man with the Twin Thrust to advance to the tournament.
6/7/87 - Wrestle Series Qualifier: Star Warrior vs Beast-Rider This was another one-sided match, Star Warrior getting the easy win with the Nova Launch.
6/14/87 - Wrestle Series Qualifier: Lord Nexus vs Commander Sam The old friends (and occasional rivals) met in a classic match, worthy of the Wrestle Series itself! The back-and-forth encounter had the crowd interested the whole time. Nexus scored the pin after the Titan Drop. The men shook hands after the match, as Sam clapped for Nexus' effort.
6/21/87 - Wrestle Series Qualifier: Massacre vs Pit Viper One of the best parts about Wrestle Series is the inclusion of usual tag wrestlers getting their shot at big time singles action. This match was, well, a massacre really, the Gladiator defeating the Flying Titan in little more than 4 minutes after the Massacre Slam.
6/28/87 - Wrestle Series Qualifier: Invincible Krakan vs Executioner Oh dear, Krakan is really having a rough time of it as of late, and his losing streak continued as he fell to the Headsman Guillotine in a good match. Krakan has fallen a long way since the beginning of the year. How much further can he fall?
6/28/87 - Galaxian Tag Title Match: Evil Royals (c) vs Gladiators of Aethra The Gladiators (besides wanting to get revenge and their titles back of course) were battling to get Brute into the tournament, as Massacre had already qualified himself. Interestingly, most of the locker room was rooting for the Gladiators as well, as one spot would have been up for grab if they won the titles. Unfortunatly, the Royals held out to the time limit, retaining their titles and keeping their spots in Wrestle Series. How far can they go? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Welcome back! As promised, it is now time for the draw. Let's welcome in the man who will draw the names: OMEGA!" The crowd cheers as the Cetus legend makes his way to the stage with the tumbler that contains the names of the 8 men. "And here is the first name: Ghengis Khan! His quarter-final opponent is.....WOLF!!!! That should be an interesting match! In the second match: One hald of the Galaxian Tag Team Champions - Exo-King! And his opponent, the always dangerious Executioner! The thrid quarterfinal will pit the Gladiator Massacre versus....STAR WARRIOR!! That leaves as the final match: Lord Nexus versus the other half of the Galaxian Tag Team Champions Killer Queen! That ends our special live preview show. Thank you all for watching! See you tonight for.....WRESTLE SERIES!!!!" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2087 Wrestle Series Full Card: 1. Wrestle Series Quarterfinal - Ghengis Khan vs Wolf 2. Wrestle Series Quarterfinal - Exo-King vs Executioner 3. Wrestle Series Quarterfinal - Massacre vs Star Warrior 4. Wrestle Series Quarterfinal - Lord Nexus vs Killer Queen 5. Wrestle Series Semifinal - winner match 1 vs winner match 2 6. Wrestle Series Semifinal - winner match 3 vs winner match 4 7.
