I've always played my "Z" fed sporatically. My highlight was probably 2121, when Sledgend won a competition for a 6-month contract in my GWF. I've never really run my Z consistently outside of that window. On the one hand, I was okay with that since I viewed the Z as a "training" fed, so results wouldn't be as well known. On the other hand, a ton of great characters were contributed by promoters and the Z staff did a great job putting them all together in a coherent package.
I was recently re-reading my GWFZT booklet and was really struck by the incredible depth of the federation at this point. So I decided to try something new- a Z fed that will have regular visits to all of the territories (except for the Clone Zone). I'm going to try and keep track of all of the titles and territory records as best I can, and basically give it the same treatment as my GWF, CPC/POW and aCe. At least, it's the treatment I would give one of the "big 3" feds if they had 171 wrestlers (plus any I add for my PG territory) and 57 "regular" tag teams (plus any makeshift teams) spread across the 15 territories.
I have no idea if I'll be able to sustain this, but I'm giving it a try!
EDIT: You'll note that I have numbers after the names of the wrestlers. That's the number of fatigue tokens accumulated in the match. If no number's given, you can assume that the wrestler didn't accumulate any.

GWFZT Card # 1: GWFZ Hall of Fame Zone, Champions Hall, Ceres “Revelation” Stellar Nexus comes out and announces that in recognition of the incredible growth in size and popularity of the GWFZ, the federation has been reorganized into different territories and will be conducting cards across the Universe. However, he will still be holding major cards here at Champions Hall and in honor of the new chapter in the history of the GWFZ he will be recognizing new belts: the GWFZ Universal Title and the GWFZ Universal Tag Team Titles. Only the best of the best will compete for these titles. Tonight will mark the beginning of the tournament to crown the first Universal Champion.GWFZ Universal Championship Tournament Quarterfinals1. Xymbiote (3 tokens) COR Akuma the Ninja (0). 2. Dr. Payne (0) SUB Magnifico (0) with KO TEMPLE CLAW in a shocking splat. Sledgend, the first GWFZ star to receive a GWF contract, came out to the ring for the next match. He was followed by another man who had appeared in a GWF ring- Varsity. Varsity was sporting a new look and a new attitude. He had a microphone in his hand.
“Clearly, if Stellar Nexus is serious about this being the ‘best of the best’, he would invite me. But by including you in this charade of a tournament, I doubt that he really means what he says. It appears that I’ll have to contend with no-talent oafs like yourself who denigrate their bodies with ink and piercings while ignoring the basics of your craft. You don’t belong in my ring. So get out, or I’ll make you tap out.”
Sledgend wasn’t impressed, and when the bell sounded, both men gave the fans their money’s worth.3. Sledgend (2) PIN Varsity (2) with SHATTERING DEVASTATION in a four-star match that showcased the true talents and resiliency of both competitors. Varsity appeared to suffer a concussion after going through Mot, Kram and Johnny Rocket’s announce table and needed help from the medical staff to get to the locker room. 4. Pride (1) PIN Hegemony(7) after 4 PRIDE PUMP HANDLE SLAMS, including 3 in a row to close out the match. Hegemony stunned the crowd with his ability to take punishment, and only stayed down after the last PRIDE PUMP HANDLE SLAM appeared to knock him out. 5. Pandamonium (0) PIN Narkotik (0). Narkotik stunned the crowd by appearing to be under the influence when he came down to the ring. 6. Totalis (0) PIN Irish Heat (2) after controlling the entire match. Totalis was clearly comfortable coming back to the Z, and strutted around the ring like a peacock after winning his match. 7. Phenomenal Swift (1) PIN Assassin Z (2) with MIND ERASOR in a battle of two crowd favorites. 8. Morbid (2) SUB Crow (5) with MORBIDLY CRUEL. This match could have gone either way. The crowd was on its feet for nearly the entire match. Both men shockingly kept it “clean” and let their skills in the ring show through. Crow looked like he had the match, but missed DEATHSAULT and Morbid immediately slapped on his finisher. This was the main event and the Match of the Night, narrowly edging out Sledgend and Varsity. Stellar Nexus ended the night by announcing the Semi-Final matchups, which will be held at the next HOFZ card: Phenomenal Swift vs. Pandamonium Morbid vs. Tournament Master Xymbiote vs. Sledgend Pride vs. Doctor Payne

GWFZT Card # 2: Planet Z Solar Flare Stadium, Mercury The crowd on Mercury is abuzz with anticipation for tonight’s card. While they are into all of the matches, their reactions are muted as they wait for the main event. It’s not that they don’t appreciate the wrestling… they are just apprehensive as they look forward to seeing their avatar, the Phenomenal Swift, take on the infamous Hegemony. The winner takes home the prestigious O-Zone title. The Phenomenal Swift literally has the weight of a world riding on his shoulders tonight.1. Galactic Defender PIN Mr. Psycho after a missed deathjump. Mr. Psycho appeared to waste a lot of time on the top rope in an argument with the turnbuckle. 2. The Ace COR Blindside in a match that was more fight that sport. 3. Venusian Guard (Shukra, 3) DQ Bros Before Heroes (Gnarly, 3) after DON’T TASE ME, BRO. The Mercurians got into this match a bit more and let Gnarly and Ceratonin hear their jeers for taking liberties with their planet’s staunchest allies. 4. Mr. Vega PIN Illustrious with LET IT RIDE in an elite performance by the gambling mogul. 5. More Beautiful & Beastly (Vain) PIN Rhythm & Bruise (Darth Pelvis, 1) with SMOTHERED AND GLAZED. O-Zone Title Match6. The Phenomenal Swift (0) came out like a house afire and got the PIN on Hegemony (1) with MIND ERASOR before the ornery orator could even get his ring jacket off to become NEW O-ZONE CHAMPION! The Phenomenal Swift’s home crowd explodes as he stoically takes the O-Zone belt and raises it in his right arm. He shows it to each side of the crowd before calmly walking to the back with a clearly elated Professor Sudden.
As the new champ leaves, Hegemony complains bitterly to the official that he was never ready for the start of the bout and demands that the referee call the Phenomenal Swift back immediately and restart the match now that he is ready. The Mercury crowd boos mercilessly as the referee throws up his hands and Hegemony continues to berate him as the show ends.

GWFZT Card # 3: All-Earth Zone GWFZ Lunar Arena, Earth’s Moon Atlas comes to the All-Earth Zone from another federation on Earth. He brings with him the Earth World Title, which traces its lineage back to a line of champions for over 175 years. A brief video montage plays, detailing the history of the championship. Atlas is then shown and he speaks to the camera.
"I am the Earth World Title holder. I have earned the right to carry this belt. But I'm also new to the 'Z' and I understand that this means that some might resent me carrying the gold. In the interest of fairness, I am willing to prove my championship mettle by holding a four-man tournament with the title on the line. If I retain the title without winning the tournament, I promise to give the winner a shot at his title at the next card. But don't worry... I don't plan on losing."Atlas Challenge Semi-Finals- Earth World Title on the Line 1. Ares (2) PIN Atlas (6) with SPARTAN SPEAR to become NEW EARTH WORLD CHAMPION! Atlas is stunned to lose his first-ever match in the territory (along with his title!). Ares is clearly pumped to be champion and hears the cheers of the crowd. Atlas Challenge Semi-Finals- Earth World Title on the Line 2. Pride (3) PIN Grillz(3) to advance and earn a title shot against new champion Ares in the finals. 3. Deftone made quick work of Rottweiler Dan with a PIN 4. “Natural Man” Bobby Roberts (3) PIN Joe Olson (1) after a back-and-forth matchup between the two newcomers. The crowd was entertained, but was disappointed when the steady Olson lost control of the match and took the loss.5. Godspeed (Ajax, 1) DQ Lucky Day (Irish Heat) after Irish Heat attempted CHEERS! (Achilles, 1). Things were looking real bad for Ajax, but Irish Heat took to celebrating a bit early. He grabbed his trademark mug, took a mighty gulp and went for the cover. When Ajax kicked out, Irish Heat smashed his mug over Ajax’s head, right in front of the official. Needless to say, that was that.Atlas Challenge Finals- Earth World Title on the Line6. Pride DQ Ares (2), but Ares retains the title after an uncharacteristic (for this territory) donnybrook outside the ring between the two allies. After the match, it was clear that Pride felt cheated out of the title by his teammate. On the other hand, Ares was livid with the referee. It was a wild brawl and Ares felt that the official should have let things go or disqualify both of them. Ares went further and accused the ref of being biased, which Pride took exception to and lead to a major stare down between Pride and Ares as the show ended.

GWFZT Card # 4: Danger Zone Kobe Battledome, Neo-Kobe Asteroid The show opens with Hardcore Commissioner Jim Steel in the ring. He announces that he's doing things HIS way. Since this is the first Danger Zone card, he's making sure that all three factions are represented on the card. To keep things simple, there will be three Titan Death matches featuring a member of the Original Underground against a member of the New School. The rest of the matches will feature members of the UFZ in a series of standard-rules wrestling matches (to the dismay of the crowd) to qualify for the title tournament. Sensing that he might be losing the fans, Jim changed gears announcing that the first match would feature the King of Hardcore battling the one and only... CROW! The Battledome crowd burst into frenzy, chanting the name of the most famous wrestler in the territory.Titan Death Match1. King of Hardcore (3) PIN Crow(3) Titan Death Match2. Hardcore Jim Steel (1) PIN Sledgend (1) UFZ Title Tournament Qualifier3. Pullos (3) SUB Chuck the Roo (3) with wakigatame to qualify for the UFZ Tournament 4. Maul quickly PIN Castaway with MAULING to advance. 5. Ripper COR Pi (5) after a dominating performance 6. Totalis (1) PIN Dr. Payne (0) with FINAL ROUND (snake eyes roll). After the bell, Totalis screamed "NO ONE CAN BEAT TOTALIS! I AM THE GREATEST FIGHTER OF ALL TIME! THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS TO WANNABE HACKS THAT FOLLOW ME AROUND FROM FED TO FED!" He then proceeded to beat down Dr. Payne, injuring him and putting his scheduled appearance at the upcoming Milky Way Galaxy card into doubt.Varsity came down to the ring next. He enraged the crowd by stating "the Kobe Battledome is filled with the lowest imbeciles of the universe. All you are looking for is high spots and gore without any thought to the real goal of the sport: winning. Sledgend may have gotten lucky against me once at Champions Hall on Ceres, but it took the crude use of a table for him even have a chance against me. Man-on-man, he could never hope to defeat me. Sledgend showed tonight why he will never be a champion. By relying on cheap props, he constrains his own abilities. I have no such constraints. I defeat my opponents for a simple reason. I... am... better. I don't need to grab the best weapon. I don't need my 'signature' match. I... am... better. It doesn't matter who walks down that aisle. I... AM... BETTER... and I will prove it to whoever comes out next."
It appeared that Varsity wasn't done with his diatribe, but before he could go any further he was interrupted by MORBID! Morbid didn't waste any time with a promo. He answered Varsity's challenge with a viscous gouge to the eyes!Titan Death Match7. Varsity (1) SUB Morbid (4) with BY THE BOOK in a clinical dissection of the GWFZ icon. The crowd definitely did not go home happy. All of their favorites (Crow, Sledgend and Morbid) were defeated- except for Hardcore Jim Steel and Pullos. Even Steel's win didn't make everyone happy since it came at the expense of Sledgend. The Commish's decision to go with "old school" matches for the UFZ fighters didn't go over so well either- even with Maul and Ripper showing well. The fact is, the only person who seemed truly happy at the end of the night was Varsity... and that probably soured everyone's mood as much as anything. The trademark smirk on Varsity's face was the last image seen as the show faded out.

You'll note that I have numbers after the names of the wrestlers. That's the number of fatigue tokens accumulated in the match. If no number's given, you can assume that the wrestler didn't accumulate any. Very interesting notation. In practical terms, this tells the reader more about the flow of the match than using 'time' or 'star ratings'. I could also imagine creative ways that such a measure could be used cumulatively (ie. calculating tendencies toward injury, a rankings component, as a Wrestler of the Month/Year award showcasing competitive dominance, etc). It could open up a lot of unique territory. Good stuff!

I love Mr. Psycho wasting time arguing with the turnbuckle...
I bet Crow, Sledgend, and Morbid will rebound in their next appearances, although with the amount of air time Varsity managed to secure for himself I guess it would have been a letdown had he lost to Morbid as well. Would love to see Varsity recruit a moral majority tag partner to feud with Sledgend and Morbid..

GWFZT Card # 5: Milky Way Galaxy Area Fire Island, Mercury
The Milky Way Galaxy area events are equally co-promoted by the All-Earth Zone, Planet Z and the Rings of Saturn. They regularly cooperate to share talent across territories in addition to running their combined events on a periodic basis.
Fire Island is one of the largest arenas used in the Milky Way Galaxy area. It’s a suitable site for a big card, and this event certainly qualifies. The Titan Tag Team Tournament begins here and the Main Event features long-time allies Ares and Pride facing off for the Earth World Title. However, much of the crowd is buzzing with anticipation of the O-Zone Title Match featuring the “hometown hero”, the Phenomenal Swift.1. More Beautiful and Beastly (Vain) PIN Lucky Day (Daisuke) with SMOTHERED AND GLAZED 2. Mr. Vega PIN “Natural Man” Bobby Roberts Titan Tag Team Tournament Semifinals3. Titan Revenge (Revelation) PIN Serpent & the Rainbow (Dragonlord) in a stunningly fast match (2 moves). Titan Tag Team Tournament Semifinals4. Arial Foundation (Turbo, 4) made a great comeback to SUB Titan Bulldogs (Son of Saturn) with LIGHT SPEEED. O-Zone Title Match5. Showing amazing intestinal fortitude, The Phenomenal Swift (7) absorbed a tremendous amount of punishment and turned things around to PIN Hegemony (4) with the MIND ERASER to retain his title. After the match, Hegemony looked absolutely stunned at first, and then frustrated. He didn't even bother grabbing a microphone to engage in one of his trademark rants. However, he still wasn't a gracious loser. He took time out to berate a small child wearing a “Phenomenal Phan” t-shirt in the front row as he left the ring area. Earth World Title Match 6. Before this match, Pride and Ares shared an uneasy handshake. Things got more uneasy when this match ended prematurely as Pride (2) DQ Ares (1). Ares obviously retains his title. This card ends in a bit of controversy, as Ares can be seen arguing with the referee at ringside while Pride is clearly unhappy with Ares. The referee’s decision marred an otherwise clean night. Despite the early end to the main event, the crowd buzzed about the quality of the matches, especially the Phenomenal Swift’s comeback win in his title defense against Hegemony

I'll always be comfortable describing matches that as short or long, but I never liked counting moves (or even just looking at the clock). I agree that there are tons of options with the token counting "method". I'm going to keep this up, and see where it takes me.
