Yeah, I bet that stinks. I would probably do the same thing, get my kid the game... hoping to have someone play with on occassion and they blow it off...lol. You think he would be into COTGonline more T? It's something I thought about. I figured that he and I could maybe play together online or something, but it's something that has never gotten past the good idea stage.

I took my oldest two (both boys now 15 and 13) to G-Con for about 5 years, but neither caught the COTG fever for long past a few weeks after getting home. They are definitely more the "x-box" generation and throwing dice just doesn't do it for them.
My youngest (daughter, 9) wants to roll the dice for me for every match...I don't think she understands what the moves being performed are, but she has the COTG mechanics down pretty good. I am pretty sure she just wants to hang out with me and play, so i let her.
I don't think any of them will play the game on their own as they aren't wrestling fans or into the sci-fi or comic genres that the COTG-verse encompasses.

Sophia is 18 months, so she likes to hold the die and look at it. I tell her that she is giving me good luck by holding the die before I roll it, and then I give her a "high five" after a good roll against Josh (her God-father), which she loves. She actually has a favorite character (well 2 actually), the Jungle Warriors, who she points at and says "kitty". It's hysterically cute. Sophie has an interest in CotG, and absolutely LOVES baseball, so she may be the perfect daughter.

I am nine years old and I am writing this post (with my dad's help). I love this game. I have a GWF fed, an aCe fed, a legends fed and a bootleg fed. I also cant wait about another week when the Future set comes out. I roll the dice about an hour each night with my dad's permission. My favorite match so far has been a Cell match between Disaster and Endgame. Disaster and Endgame were on top of the cage and Disaster slammed Endgame through the cage and to the mat with a wicked Rampage to win the match! I love COTG and I will be a fan for life.
