Many of us are probably in the same age range, started playing when we were teens and now have kids.
I have a 5 1/2 (boy) and almost 2 year old (girl). The other day, I had laminated a bunch of my cards and was on our deck/patio c utting them out while he was playing outside.
Now right now, he is on a big Star Wars/Sci Fi kick, and really started to want to look at the pics on the cards. He was asking who they were, etc
Granted, he may be a bit young to grasp the mechanics, but it was neat to see him take an interest.
Any of you out there, with younger ones, have they began taking an interest in it?

Given that wrestling today is decided NOT for kids, I sorta feel like my 8 year old daughter isn't old enough...
I don't think it'd be fair for me to get her into it, but then tell her she can't watch it on TV, ya know?

My daughter is 3½ years old, and her experience in COTG is to look at the cards and ask, "Is he a mean guy or a nice guy?"
She likes all the nice guys.

Like the other's post, he just likes to know if the character is cool or not One day, I may break out some old 80s wrestling DVDs. I've always liken that to hockey or boxing anyways.

Actually my 3 year old watched the Royal Rumble anthology with me, her favorite was Rikishi, because he dances.
As far as COTG goes, she acknowledges them when I have them on the computer screen, and says "he's a cool wrestler, daddy." That's about the extent of it though.

I gave my little boy (he's 10) the original 2087 set for Christmas this past year and he liked the drawings but so far has not shown an interest in playing. He doesn't live with me, so he never sees me play so that may be a reason why he hasn't bother to play.

I would probably do the same thing, get my kid the game... hoping to have someone play with on occassion and they blow it off...lol. You think he would be into COTGonline more T?
