Very true. It's amusing and at the same time a bit sad.
Then again, Melina has done enough to deserve the abuse she's going to get.

It's pretty much a simple fact those who are using Facebook or Twitter to garner buzz over their comments know it'll work, look we are talking about it as are other boards. I honestly don't care one way or another about what wrestlers tweet, it's the way things are and life moves on...

Unless something changes, Melina has been booked for WSU in Nov. to face Serena Deeb. Like everyone else, I don't think she's finding an indy to pay her three grand if that request is true.

I don't think Steen and Cabana are laughing at Melina herself, I just think they are laughing at what was reported as her booking demands for the Indy circuit. In other words, laughing at the report itself and not her.
The Wrestling Road Diaries DVD featuring Bryan Danielson and Colt Cabana shows that Indy wrestlers don't make thousands of dollars per appearance, fly first class, or always stay in hotels paid for by the promotion that booked them (another report I read said Melina was not just requesting hotel accommodations but requesting a 5 star hotel as part of her deal too.) So I could reasonably see why Steen and Cabana would find that report hilarious.
If those booking demands are indeed accurate, Melina and her agent are clueless.

I think it's different because wrestlers usually look out for each other. Late night TV talk show hosts make a living other people's lives apart. True. But you always here about how wrestling is a cut throat business. I think they view Melina as an outsider in regards to her being in the WWE. "Not one of the boys" Freakshow, I think you are at least somewhat correct. Melina did have a brief Indy career before joining the WWE, but Cabana on his recent podcast with Beth Phoenix said he viewed Phoenix with more respect than most of the female wrestlers during his time with the WWE because Phoenix was someone who put her time in on the Indies and wasn't just a former model, dancer, etc.

In more Melina related news, John Morrison had this to say: "The idea of having more freedom to choose when and where to work is liberating for her. (She is) the most talented diva ever to be employed by WWE. She's got charisma and sex appeal. But the main thing that sets her apart is she makes people feel when she's in the ring ... whether she's angry, happy, surprised or pissed off. Whatever she feels, the audience feels that." To quote Miz, "Really? Really??" The most talented diva ever employed by WWE? Wow. What have I been watching all these years?
