I really like how Gabriel breaks down the fourth wall and addresses the reader. That is an awesome perspective. I look forward to interacting with him as things progress.

I'm glad to see The Messenger win his first contest against a game opponent. Looking forward to the tournament as it progresses...

I thought Vega would be a favorite to win...too bad Shang Tsung ate his soul...that was great stuff by the way! Nice FATALITY!!

It seems like each show produces more angles to work with; I told you the dice would shape the story for you.

[Dark Justice]

At the campgrounds

Gabriel walks with you through the Campgrounds as he surveys the fighters without their knowledge. He nods to a new tent. “The final members of the tourney have arrived. I granted them special permission to be here late. They will fight today as part of the campground show. I can’t wait for this group to do battle.” Gabriel waves his hand and a giant gong rings in the middle of camp. The combatants come out from the tents and notice the 3 new fighters. Gabriel appears before the fighters. “Today we have three new fighters amongst us. Dark Justice, The Unwanted and the Reaper, I hope they make an impact. They will be competing today. As will all of you who are still in the title tournament. The following match will finish out the first round. The matches are…”

1. Dark Justice vs. Judgement
2. The Unwanted vs. Reckoning
3. Reaper vs. Resolution

“After these matches are decided we will move immediately along to the next round. Good luck fighters.”

Dark Justice vs Judgement

Judgement starts the match with the last rites and then hits the devastating PENTENT DRIVER. As the battle continues it move to the mouth a cave, the fighters are both blinded by darkness where Justice is the first to recover. Justice hurls two bolts of lightning at Judgement which finds the mark readily. Justice violently shoves Judgement against the cave wall twice. Justice enjoys watching the man start to fade. Justice uses his opportunity and delivers THE EXECUTIONER’S SONG. Justice then tosses Judgement into one of the other tents. At the speed Judgement flew in an speared Guile it's no wonder Guile took to the offense. Guile pushes Judgement off of him and charges the man looking for a takedown. Instead Guile meets Judgement’s gillotene facedrop. The fight then moves to the outside of the tent as Justice looks on. Guile is knocked to the ground and Judgement move onto a rockface nearby and connects with a flying shoulder tackle. As Guile get to his feet Judgement hits him with the PENTENT DRIVER, knocking Guile out cold. As Judgement gets to his feet Dark Justice grabs Judgement and finishes off the Fight with the EXECUTIONER’S SONG.

The Unwanted vs. The Reckoning

The Reckoning starts off strong and aggressive and The Unwanted fires back with an incredible Double RORSCHACH DROP (Diving Body press) . After a short secession of kicks to the Reckoning, The Unwanted finds himself kicked from behind. As he turns around the crimson haired man sees the most unusual sight. A strange man dressed in Green with a huge "N" across his chest and a gaudy and cheaply made ring on this finger. “Stop attacking this man or feel the power of the Green Nitro.”

The Unwanted laughs are met with a fury of offense by the costumed man. The Unwanted is staggered until he finds a drop toe hold. The Unwanted slams Nitro into the side of one of the supply crates and rushes in to make good on the attack. The Unwanted begins hammering Nitro to the ground. The Unwanted climbs the crates and does a RORSCHACH DROP on Nitro. As he gets up the Unwanted levels Nitro with a Lobotomy Drop (Brainbuster). After Softening up the unscheduled opponent more a final RORSCHACH DROP puts Nitro out of the match. Reckoning uses the opportunity to level the unwanted with very aggressive offense. The Reckoning stuns him with the DIVINE EDGE. The unwanted lays on the ground defeated.

Reaper vs Resolution

Resolution opens the match strong with a double barrage, leaving the Reaper staggered. Resolution tosses Reaper into a nearby tree and attempts a charge at him only to be met by his knee to her jaw. He recovers with a Death Valley driver on the petite woman he is fighting. As she gets to her feet she pulls her pistols from her holster and smacks Reaper in the face with the butts of the guns. She then pulls herself gracefully into the tree and tries to dive onto Reaper. Reaper cleverly moves from the way, watching her crash like an angel from heaven.
As she rises to her feet Reaper hits her with Death Comes (super kick). After a moment of recovery she surprises both of them with MUZZLE FLASH then follows it up with END RESULT. This truly is the correct name, as it pertains to this match.

"With Round two now at a close the combatants may rest and i will call upon you for round 2 in a while." Gabriel says as he fades into invisiblity.

The Tent of the Messenger and his Crew

Guile walks in hesitantly, as he looks around he sees Judgement. "Looks man, i'm sorry about what happened earlier. I really messed up. I guess I'm just a lil antsy with all this stuff goin' on. I wish there was something i could do...."

Judgement looks over at Guile "You did what we all would have done. You defended yourself. It's understandable. It's one match out of what I'm guessing will be many. I'm sure there will be others.

In the courtyard of the camp

"YOU MEAN I'M STUCK HERE?" fires off the Green Nitro. "All i did was try to prevent an assault!"

"You got involved in a tourament that is very important. If I let you leave it would upset the balance of the whole thing. I for one, will not allow that to happen." Gabriel states in a very matter of fact tone. "You will bunk with Honda, Dhalsim and Guile."

"You can't keep me here! That's kidnapping!!!" Nitro protests.

"Do you honestly think you are in any position to tell me what I can and cannot do?" The angel shakes his head mirthfully. "Ready for your fight. It's up next against our Slayer Champion.

Round 2

Nitro vs Shang Tsung

Nitro starts off offering a hand to the wizard to shake. Tsung laughs and gets to a defensive stance. After allowing the Green Nitro to try a few strikes, Shang launches a fireball at Nitro,knocking him to the ground. As Nitro rises to his feet he is put down again by a leg sweep and the Sorcerer fires more flames at the superhero. Shang Tsung grabs nitro and whips him towards a boulder and chases after him, however Nitro has a surprise in store. He runs up the boulder and Flips over Tsung’s head and hit him with an electromagnetic moonsault. As Nitro gets up and starts to celebrate his Victory over the wizard, he is hit by a TRIPLE FIREBALL COMBO. The Green Nitro falls to the ground and receives another TRIPLE FIREBALL COMBO. As Nitro lay helpless the wizard spits on the fallen man.

Shepard vs Resolution

The two give each other Respectful nods as they circle each other in the ring. Resolution moves for the attack first. Shepard easily reverses it into a spinning back fist. After a very hotly contested exchange, Shepard find an opening and tries for the EXORCISM SHOT, missing by a hair. Resolution takes to strategy and runs into the nearby cave. As her eyes readjust to the darkness, Shepard hits her with The EXORCISM SHOT in the chest, much to her credit she continues the fight. Shepard tries to use the EXORCISM SHOT again and again the much quicker woman dodges his aim. Shepard chuckles “You truly are you brother's sister as he levels his gun on her again and shoots her with the EXORCISM SHOT for the final time of the matchup. After the match he walks over to her and carries her to the tent. As her brother, the Messenger, looks on.

Genosyde vs the Reckoning

She looks at her challenger and cracks her neck. Then she smiles as if to challenge him to make the first move. As he rushes forwards to make that move, she super kicks him to his back. His neck makes a sickening popping sound as he lands hard against a rock on the ground. Reckoning hits hard and lays motionless. She smiles down at him “I do hope you’ll fight harder next time, if there is one.” She walks back to her tent.

Goro vs. M. Bison

Bison looks over at Goro. “Now you pay for your master’s mistake!” Bison charges in. He jumps up and head stomps Goro. As Bison lands Goro grabs him in the 4 armed monster’s choke slam and chest crush combination maneuver. Bison manages to fight back to deliver the FINAL PSYCHO CRUSHER. The fight continues near the lava river as Bison attempts to toss Goro in with an irish whip. Near the lavas edge Bison hits the FINAL PSYCHO CRUSHER again, following it up quickly with and extra PSYCHO CRUSHER. Bison, wanting nothing more than to prove his superiority delivers his third FINAL PSYCHO CRUSHER. Bison grabs the monster after he is knocked silly and pulls him face to face. “Join me and live. Next time me meet, if you’re not with me, you will die Monster. I’ll await your response."

The Messenger vs. Zangief

Zangief smiles and looks at the Messenger as the close in for combat. “Why they call you the Messenger?”

“Because I know things that others don’t. More importantly, I’m the man who will fight for you to hear it.”

“So what is your Message?” the Russian asks as he stretches.

“Nothing is up to chance, Everything is a slave to something. The Question is who are you a slave to? Michael or Lucifer?” The Messenger says as he throws a few easy jab towards Zangief. After a Steady bout of punches The Messenger catches Zangief sleeping with the conveyor DDT. Zangief is dazed and moving for better positioning puts himself near the lava stream. The Messenger kicks Zangief in the gut and delivers THE MESSAGE(Reverse Brainbuster kick). Zangief falls to the ground. “May God find mercy for you.” The Messenger walks away as Zangief slowly makes his way to his feet seemingly confused.

Ryu vs. Dark Justice

Dark Justice walks to the courtyard and stares at Ryu. After a few uneasy moments, Ryu moves in for the strike. Ryu’s strike keep seeming to have no effect on the big monster before him. After a salvo of powerful offense by Dark Justice, Ryu tries to take control with a hard chop to the throat. The attack only angers the monster. Justice hurls a lightning bolt at Ryu knocking him to the ground. Ryu answers back with a DRAGON UPPERCUT followed by a HURRICANE KICK. After a few solid maneuvers by Ryu, justice hits him with lighting punches. The swings of the massive 6’8 giant are just too much for the Martial arts expert to handle.

Kano Vs. Sub Zero
The Men both square off sizing the other up. Kano twirls his switchblade in his hand. “You know I think that Comic Book Company was wrong for what thay did to you. I really think you could have beat the Batman.”

Not leaving time for the ninja to respond, Kano charges in with simple strikes. The tactic worked to take him off guard for the KANOBALL that followed. After the aggression continues with a steady back and forth Subzero nails a solid kick to Kano’s head. The men are seemingly filled with rage and fury. Kano takes his blade and slashes deep into the ninja’s stomach. Kano turns and KNIFE TOSSES his blade at Subzero. The men struggle for control once again and Kano comes away with it. Again Kano launches himself in the form of a KANOBALL at the cold ninja warrior. As Sub-zero gets to his feet Kano slashes him again with the blade across the chest. The ninja falls to the ground in a heap.
"Hey lookie here, I think I just made shaved Ice." Kano Mocks as he leaves for his tent.

Blanka vs. Ken Masters

Blanka and Ken fight rather evenly until Blanka find the timing to hit ELECTRIC THUNDER. Blanka wastes no time celebrating and just wanders back into the woods.

Guile vs. Chun-li

Chun-li and Guile fight rather evenly until the go crashing through the tent wall of the monster Dark Justice. As Chun-li gets to her feet Justice shove her hard across the tent. Guile kicks justice back and continues to fight with Chun- li. The original two fighters continue the combat neither noticing Justice walking along side ready to seize his opportunity. Chun-li delivers a rather strong attack to Guile and just as she readies the second one she is hit by a judgement slam by Dark Justice. Guile barely gets any real offense going before Justice attacks him as he’s trying to hit the FLASHKICK on Chun- li. As Dark Justice goes back to the assault on Chun-li he is hit from behind with a FLASHKICK and does not return to the fray. After a spirited fight Guile puts Chun-li down with a FLASHKICK. After the fight Guile leans against a nearby boulder nursing his wounds. Guile then from behind he is attacked with an EXECUTIONER’S SONG by Dark Justice. (Guile is Out for 7 cards AND forced to step out of title contention)

Gabriel walks over to you "This was a very spirited day of combat. I wonder what the next round will bring? There are some very interesting match ups indeed."

Gabriel walks into the Junkyard arena motioning for you to follow. He walks to the over to a car and sits on the hood. “This should be a good spot to watch the action for the day. You know, after this tournament it over I’m going to do a slight reformat. I think I’d wanna see things from out here more. Nonetheless let’s begin.” With that he waves his hand. And the first two warriors appear in the ring.

Reaper vs. Johnny Cage

Cage throws a green bolt at Reaper and follows it up quickly by tossing Reaper out of the ring. Reaper falls face first into the trash wall. Reaper grabs Johnny as he gets back in the ring and power bombs him on the hard rock-covered ground. As Cage attempts to get up Reaper rockets a kick into Cage’s groin. Reaper walks around Cage until he makes it to his feet and then delivers a Death Comes (superkick). This knocks Cage out quickly.

Ricochet vs. Reptile

Rico starts the match with a power offense. Reptile tosses Rico from the ring. Then he leaps over the top room raining down on his challenger. Reptile then uses the SNAKE BITE to finish the match.

Kano vs. Blanka

The battle scarred fighters a fairly even until Kano delivers a dropkick the knocks the beast down. Then to add injury and insult Kano uses his challenger as a target for his KNIFE TOSS. Blanka finds his way to his feet and outside the ring where Kano follows and the two continue to fight, Blanka tries to toss Kano into a car to the side of the junkyard ring, however Kano has another idea. He reverses and throws Blanka onto the trunk and stabs him in the chest. Enraged Blanka tackles Kano and claws at his face. Blanka takes the tackle to his advantage and ELECTRIC THUNDERS Kano for the knockout. Blanka walks quietly out of the ring and over to sit next to Gabriel on the hood of the car. Gabriel a bit surprised, says nothing.

Shang Tsung vs. Shepard

Shepard Come out strong with a silver bullet, knocking the wizard off his feet. With a Super chop Shepard knocks the wizard unconscious.
Shepard looks over at Shang Tsung’s title belt in the corner of the ring an smirks. “some champion. Maybe I’ll have one of those soon.”

Genosyde vs. M Bison

The two Warriors fight aggressively against each other neither having the upper hand until Bison hits the FINAL PSYCHO CRUSHER. Bison tries to follow it up with a high risk dive but meet the ground face first instead. Genosyde then tosses Bison from the ring and face crushers him in the hard ground below. After Brawling outside the ring for a few minutes Bison hits the PSYCHO CRUSHER on Genosyde. The brawling continues until Bison finds another opening for a second PSYCHO CRUSHER. Bison follows it up with a FINAL PSYCHO CRUSHER leaving Genosyde broken on the canvas.

“Perhaps I need to rethink my outlook upon women in the organization. Consider this your formal invitation” Bison sneers as he walk away from Genosyde.

Dark Justice vs. The Messenger

The Two warriors fiercely fight for control all over the ring neither gives the other a moment to breathe. Justice hit The Messenger with a wicked running Clothesline and takes the wind from the angel. Justice continues to control the match with a violent Jury slam, which appears to rock The Messenger. Justice pulls The Messenger to his feet and delivers the EXECUTIONER’S SONG (SHOCK TREATMENT). The Messenger appears to wake up at the damage done and finds an opening for the Conveyor DDT. Quickly he scrambles and hits the Redeemer neckbreaker. The Messenger delivers THE MESSAGE. The monster shakes his head and starts to stand immediately much to The Messenger’s dismay. He decides to hit the big man again with THE MESSAGE. The monster falls forward and starts to get up. The Messenger looks down as the monster starts to rise again and says a prayer and delivers the LAST RIGHTS, finally putting the monster out.

The New Beginning
“The stage is set. The cards are in place gentlemen. The first one to hold essence will be crowned.” Gabriel says to his angelic brothers.

“How can you be so pleased? The Messenger is still in the tournament! We have no idea why he is here. Or how he even found out about this challenge.“ Lucifer approaches eye to eye with Gabriel. “Do we brother?” said in a tone suggesting possible wrong doing.

“Lucifer, relax just because The Messenger is still active doesn’t mean he will win.” Gabriel drinks from his glass of wine. “Besides I asked you two here to decide your teams. I have chosen the matches for today’s events. You each may choose a winner for the matches, if you are correct it garners you a choice from the roster. These warriors represent you. And you will be permitted more interaction with those on your team.” Gabriel hands both men paper “You will both write your selections before the matches start.”

As the meeting continues, Reaper appears in the room with the men. “Gabriel, I will be beginning my secondary function after this title tournament is over. I will explain my rules to you later.” The man quickly turns to shadow and disappears.

“HE is giving you directions? He is not only a contestant but also one of the 13 Soul-reapers? Have you gone mad Gabriel? Do you not know what is at stake here?” Michael questions with the fire and rage showing clearly on his face.

“You gentlemen wanted me to run a fair contest correct? That is what I’m doing. You will see in due time brothers.” Gabriel waves his hand in front of him and the three angels are sitting at ringside overlooking the junkyard ring. “Make your selections now.”

Lui Kang vs. Goro

Lui tosses Goro into the rope and follows up with a FIREBALL. Kang takes advantage of the big man’s trouble getting to his feet but stays close too long. Goro grabs him by the arms and the 4 armed monster levels body shots into the Martial arts master. As he finished with Kang, Goro choke slams and Body crushes the man. Goro manhandles Kang again with the Body shots. After Goro’s merciless assault continues Kang manages a quick FIREBALL. Kang keeps up the pressure with another FIREBALL. Kang finds his opening and delivers the BICYCLE KICK.

“GRRRR” Lucifer slams is hand down on the table in front of them. “This is ridiculous! He should have won that one!”

“Sorry brother” Michael says showing his paper says KANG. “I believe I will select Guile as my first champion.”

“Stupid Choice, he’s not even able to be active for a while.” Lucifer laughs as he hears this news.

“Next picks are need brothers.” Gabriel reminds. The men write on the paper.

Sonya Vs. Raiden

Sonya takes an early run tossing Raiden to the outside of the ring and does a suicide dive over the ropes. Raiden fight back strong with a diving clothesline and knock Sonya off her feet. As she is rising Raiden delivers the TORPEDO SPEAR. After a skilled exchange of martial arts ability Raiden surprises Sonya with a TORPEDO SPEAR again. He quickly strikes again with the TORPEDO SPEAR to finish the match.

Michael and Lucifer both seem pleased with the performances of Raiden. Gabriel smiles “I take it you both won?”

“I’ll take Shang Tsung” Lucifer quickly blurts out.

“Rather excited aren’t we?” Michael chuckles as he speaks. “I’ll select Raiden for on my team I believe.”

“Very well then and whom do you choose for the next match?” Gabriel questions.

Scorpion vs. Cage

These two warriors have a bitter feud ranging from the opening of this “federation”. Scorpion indeed has a score to settle. As the two men square off the rivals stare into each other’s eyes. Fists start to fly as both men look for an opening. Cage finds his shot with the Nut cracker. Quickly Cage follows up with a DEADLY UPPERCUT. As Scorpion kicks up to his feet he is met with a green shadow kick to the chest. Cage delivers another DEADLY UPPERCUT to put the ninja out of commission.

“That is completely unacceptable! Cage is a worthless worm! How could he have won and screwed me out of a champion!” Lucifer screams

“Kinda like he just did. On the positive side he gave me one.” Michael jokes with a very blatant intent to irritate Lucifer. “I’ll take Genosyde.”

Shepard vs M. Bison

Bison starts the match with humiliating slaps to the side of Shepard’s face. After a violent struggle for power Bison connects with the FINAL PSYCHO CRUSHER twice in a row. Seeing Shepard still fighting back Bison hits the PSYCHO CRUSHER twice as well. After all that, Shepard gets to his feet. Quickly draws his gun and fires the EXORCISM SHOT center mass on M. Bison. Bison falls to the ground unable to continue. “I will say a pray for you, my poor misguided son. With stakes as high as these your anger will only be the burden that you carry, not the ally you look for it to be.”

Gabriel looks at his brothers Lucifer angrily slams his hand down showing his paper clearly sided him with Bison for the victory. Gabriel nods in passive understanding and looks to Michael. Michael happily shows his paper to have the name Shepard written boldly across it.

“Name your next warrior Michael.” Gabriel says over Lucifer’s mutters of disapproval.

“I’ll choose Blanka, he has proven rather surprising thus far.”

Lucifer seemingly overjoyed cackles “Wasted pick brother”

“It’s mine to waste.” Michael taunts.

“Gentlemen? The next match,” Gabriel nods to the ring. The other two angels scribble on the paper in front of them.

The Messenger vs. Blanka
As the two feel for each other’s offense the Messenger steps forward and delivers the Conveyor DDT. Then as a exclamation point he levels the beast with a terminator piledriver and the LAST RITES. Blanka barely rolls away to the outside of the ring. The Messenger follows and pistol whips the green beast in the face. While Blanka is in a dazed from that shot the Messenger delivers a Redeemer Neckbreaker. As Blanka gets to his feet he is met with his LAST RITES. This sends the Monster to the ground.

Both of the angels seem rather upset by this victory. Gabriel looks at the men. “Shall we even look at the paper? I thought not. If you will excuse me, I have to talk to the fighters.” Gabriel appears in the ring. “Congratulations on getting to the finals go to both Shepard and the Messenger. However, your night is not over. You will now fight each other and decide who the Ascended Champion is. Good luck.” With that Gabriel rejoins his brothers. “Brothers cast your votes.”

Championship Finals.
Shepard vs. The Messenger
The Messenger is still looking remarkable and well rested after his fight with the beast. Shepard, in contrast, is looking ragged from his fight with the Madman Bison. Both men seem to realize this was going to happen tonight. They shake hands and start to think defensively. The Messenger swiftly opens the match with the Conveyor DDT. The Messenger allows Shepard to throw a few shot then slides in with a combo resulting in the LAST RITES. Shepard is knocked cold.

“CONGRATULATIONS Messenger you are the Ascended champion.”
The Messenger shoots a look over at Gabriel and helps Shepard to his feet. Then quick as a blink he drops his friend and follower with THE MESSEGE. The Messenger grabs his title belt and leaves the junkyard ring

Lucifer throws his paper at Gabriel “You rigged this with Michael! I don’t understand why you would side with this lackey!”

Michael ignores Lucifer’s remarks and just stares at the ring. “Lucifer, Sit down! I lost as well here.”

Gabriel acknowledges the protest. “Honestly Lucifer why would I attempt to manipulate this contest? You are both my family. Besides I would hold a seat of respect in either of your reigns. Perhaps we should retire to disgust this unexpected turn of events.”

Dud I have to say it again... I love this idea! I like how Michael and Lucifer are now picking teams in the tournament.

Glad to see The Messenger gain the Ascended Title, though I do think Gabriel has his own agenda. Was shocked to see The Messenger drop Shepard like that after the match. The Vagabond Priest is not an enemy you want.

IN THE SHADOW OF GENESIS
IN A SECLUDED AREA OF THE FIGHTER CAMPGROUNDS
Johnny Cage is sitting on a bench. The actor has his phone to his ear. “Look Thomas, I’m telling you, I can’t get there for the shooting. Besides, this is the real script. I’m telling ya, you better get to that junkyard in Los Angeles with a camera crew.” Cage sits listening to the man on the other end of the phone. “Of Course this is real! I saw a man get his soul ripped out! Look I started to delete contacts out of my phone in order to record this shit! If I get to the Busty blondes category I’m so finding a new agent.”

Gabriel taps Cage on the shoulder. Cage glances over his shoulder at Gabriel, holds up a finger as if to say one minute. Gabriel looks confused at the man showing little to no respect for him. “Anyways Thomas make it happen!” Cage hangs up. “So what can I do for you, boss?”

Gabriel looks at Cage “What are you doing? This is not a contest for mortal eyes.”

“Look buddy, this is a huge event. This is the thing that is gonna put my career back on the map.” Cage smirks and puts the phone away…

“How did you get that anyways?” Gabriel questions with a touch for disapproval in his voice.

“This?” Cage pulls his phone from his pocket and looks to the “camera”. “This is the new Trans-dimensional phone from the Uni-voice company, a Subsidiary of the Umbrella Corporation. Gabriel shakes his head. “You have no idea what you’ve done Mr. Cage” Gabriel walks away.

IN THE TENT OF M. BISON.

Reaper walks into the tent. Bison and Sagat look over at the entryway. “Mr. Bison I believe we need to talk, alone.” He looks over at Sagat “Sorry but this is a private matter.”

Bison looks over at Sagat “Go, he doesn’t scare me.” Sagat looks at Bison unsure of his ears. “Have you seen him in the ring… He’s a no one.”

As Sagat walks from the tent Reaper’s eyes flash to black. “Bison, I’m here to give you advanced knowledge of an opportunity that only a reaper, like me, can offer. Now do you care for the details or not? Insulting me is not in your best interest”

“Speak man I haven’t got all day for your small talk!” Bison states quickly.

“Not yet you fool. We have and audience.” Reaper makes a quick motion with his hand and suddenly the sound is inaudible to those Reaper chooses to exclude from the chat.

In Gabriel’s office

“You need to fix this Gabriel! You let him in this contest. I hold you personally responsible.” Lucifer yells at his younger brother.

“Lucifer, relax. It’s all under control.” Gabriel says taking a morsel off of the Dinner plate in front of him. “you stress too much. After all WE are the Archangels, not him. We have the natural advantage.”

Advantage in normal combat, yes, but in this WE are not the ones fighting. Thereby HE has the advantage.”

“Fine to make you happy I’ll make all of his matches in the Destroyer title tournament for his title as well… so either he wins them all or he loses his title. Better?”

“It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that also give him a shot at earning both titles in the end. Do you have a plan for that?” Michael says mockingly to his brother

“Actually I do.” Gabriel pauses “This is not for your eyes and ears.”

As Gabriel opens the passage to the Junkyard ring he finds himself greeted by fifteen mortals wearing various wrestling or MMA attire. He shakes his head… “Well if they want this to be made public, so be it…”
Gabriel snaps his fingers and the first combatant walks out of the back of an old conversion van.

Kano looks at the crowd seemingly excited to share this moment of “legalized combat” with the witnesses. “Sorry bout your luck altar boy, but I do enjoy a public execution.” Kano screams at Ricochet as he walks to the ring.

Kano vs. Ricochet

After a very close exchange between the two men Ricochet hits the SNAKE EYES on the turnbuckle and tossed Kano from the ring. As Rico starts to follow the gangster launches himself in the form of a KANOBALL at Ricochet. As Ricochet is gets to his feet, Kano charges. Kano hurls himself in the form of the KANOBALL for the knockout. Kano walks over and panders to the crowd gloating about his victory.

Blanka sits looking out from the magical portal that is the back of the conversion van. Seeing the spectators seems to make the monster uneasy as he makes his way to the ring area. Blanka continues to get confused as the wolf whistles starts as Sonya walks to the ring. She slides into the ring looking unshaken by the spectators.

Blanka vs Sonya Blaze

The beast dominates the match throwing Sonya into the ropes and out of the ring at will. Sonya struggles to even put up any offense. Blanka closes the fight with ELECTRIC THUNDER. Hurriedly Blanka runs through the Portal back to the safety of his woods.

The next fighter to come through the portal is Sub zero. Much to his dismay one of the crowd yells “hey it’s Glacier!!!!” Ignoring the comments the ninja gets into the ring and awaits the Russian destroyer, Zangief. The Russian runs to the ring and slides in eager to start the match.

Sub-zero vs. Zangief

The ninja opens the bout with a toss to the ropes followed by a shoulder block and a backbreaker. Moving quickly Sub Zero kick Zangief in the head. Subzero wastes no time and keeps the offense coming. Subzero depending on his massive kicks to the head to keep his opponent off balance. After tossing Zangief from the Barbwire ring, Subzero FREEZES AND HEAD KICKS the Russian bear. Zangief falls to the ground as he slowly fades into unconsciousness. Zangief never even score a blow on his opponent. Subzero leaves the ring not even acknowledging when the crowd chants for the “ice breaker”.

Shang Tsung walks in to the ring smiling at the crowd and uncharacteristically glad handing the spectators. Nitro rushes to the ring with excitement unmatched thus far from the roster. He hops up on the turnbuckle calling out to the crowd. “I’m fighting this fight to save the world as we know it. I am ‘The Green Nitro’.” The crowd has varied reactions to the heroes claims.

Shang Tsung Vs. The Green Nitro

Shang Tsung start the match laughing at his opponent. “Back for more child? Shouldn’t you be fighting in a sandbox somewhere?” After the wizard toys with Nitro for a moment, the hero points his ring at Tsung. Green light and energy waves fire out of the ring utilizing BAD VIBRATIONS. Shang Tsung realizes quickly, after that maneuver, that the hero is not to be taken lightly. The men continue to do battle giving there all in the fight. Ultimately the wizards FIREBALL’s give him the edge and the victory.
Shang Tsung smiles and does an unexpected bow to the crowd before leaving the ring.

Genosyde walks to the ring in a very determined. She pays no attention to the crowd. Honda hurries in wishing to get the fight over seemingly not giving much credit to the little girl.

Genosyde vs. E. Honda
Genosyde starts off strong with some massive Titan drops on Honda surprising the Sumo. He didn’t expect this 120 pound girl to be able to lift him once let alone 3 times. Disgusted with the lack of a challenge Genosyde tosses him from the ring in front of the crowd. She looks over her shoulder and notices Honda still moving and catapults herself over the top barbwire rope and slams into the massive man. She tosses Honda back into the ring delivering the WILDFIRE (CANADIAN DESTROYER). Honda whether it be stupidity or endurance starts back to his feet. The beautiful warrior savagely tosses him from the ring between the barbed ropes, cutting his back and oversized stomach. Honda slowly brings himself to his hands and knees. Genoosyde runs up onto the ropes and springboard down on his deeply cut back. Honda continues to his feet, grabbing Genosyde. In a dazed state the sumo strikes out with the HUNDRED HAND SLAP. After fight back in a grand display Honda knocks Genosyde off her feet and delivers and diving headbunt. The Headbunt took more out of Honda than he expected setting himself up for the WILDFIRE again. After Honda makes yet another good show of fortitude he is put down by a third WILDFIRE. Genosyde looks down at Honda and pulls him onto her shoulder and back to the camp.

The Messenger walks out to the ring looking at the crowd, giving each of them glace and steps in the ring. He holds up his title belt and looks to the “skybox” where Gabriel watches the action. “If you think you are going to discourage me from this fight you are sadly mistaken Gabriel. I will put an end to this sad contest you have started, even if that means going though ever man, woman, or monster on this roster. Brothers this is your last chance. End this or I vow that I will.” Scorpion teleports from the portal into the ring behind the Messenger.

The Messenger vs Scorpion

After a massive exchange between the two men the Messenger finds an opening for the Conveyor DDT. After softening up Scorpion, the Messenger delivers LAST RITES. The Messenger then grabs Scorpion by the neck and delivers the Redeemer neck breaker after only a few strikes. Barely even breaking a sweat The Messenger delivers THE MESSAGE and successfully defends his Acension Title and continues on to the second round of the tournament for the Destroyer title. The Messenger again holds the title high above his head, with wings out stretched. “You have till the end of this tournament to put an end to this contest. Michael… Gabriel … Lucifer, I don’t choose your fate. You do.

Another solid show man. Honda put up a hell of a fight, but ultimately fell to Genosyde.

I like your use of Nitro, though i feel he is outclassed in this contest, and only time will tell if i am wrong.

The Messenger is on track to put the Archangels in their place, but there are layers of deception going on here, and I feel The Reaper will come to the forefront very soon.

The Archangels once again arrives at the junkyard only to see a squad of fans filling the area. Disgusted Gabriel waves his hand and the trash wall is pushed back and the area behind the guard rail is widened. “If they want carnage then they shall have it. Brothers picking your gladiators will continue at the Rebellion 'supershow' to steal from these mortal wrestling terminology. But if you would excuse me. ” He smiles and appears in the ring. “Ladies and Gentlemen, as none of you are invited here, you are here at your own risk. I can guarantee I will feel no sadness if harm befalls you. Last chance to leave” Gabriel pauses for a moment then motions to the conversion van doors.

Dark Justice vs. Dhalsim

Dark Justice walks to the ring with the current of electricity flowing with him along the trash guardrails. Dhalsim makes his way to the ring calmly offering a friendly handshake to the monster. Justice quickly opens the match with a shocking grasp of Dhalsim’s hand. Wisely he follows with a running clothesline. After a quick reversal Dhalsim throws a few strikes to no avail. He is quickly put down by Justice with two EXECUTIONER’S SONGS.
Sagat walks to the ring with Bison walking to the “ramp” to watch. Chun-Li makes her way out Carefully navigating her way to the ring to meet with Sagat.

Chun-Li vs. Sagat

The two fighters feel for weaknesses in the opening strikes until Sagat sees an opening. He strikes quickly with an Energy blast. Sagat strike inside with a round of punches topping it off with a TIGER UPPERCUT. Sagat firmly in control starts to toy with his female counterpart until she surprises him with a LIGHTNING KICK. Sagat recovers and begins to take Chun-li and bit more seriously. He continues to strike at her managing another TIGER UPPERCUT. Chun-li returns the favor by striking with another LIGHTNING KICK. The Lightning kick sends Sagat from the ring and with great fighting instinct Sagat lands on his feet. Quickly Sagat strikes Chun-li down with a volley of punches and to the torso from the outside of the ring as she attempts to follow. The majority of these shots are unblocked leaving Chun-li to fall to the canvas. M. bison looks down at the ringside approvingly.

Johnny Cage walks to the ring and hands a few autographs out and he waits for Reptile to come out. Gabriel stands up and waves a hand. Suddenly from behind Cage, Reptile becomes visible as he gets tossed to the other side of the ring side area. “I’ll allow that during matches, however I expect your opponent to at least see you before I’ll allow the match to start. Now the fight may begin.”

Johnny Cage vs. Reptile

The two men begin to fight fairly evenly until the ninja disappears and begins striking at cage who can’t defend. After abusing Johnny for quite some time teeth marks appear on his chest from Reptile's SNAKE BITE. After Cage pulls free he is assaulted by the invisible man again, this time getting hit with ACID SPIT. Cage falls to the ground in too much pain to continue.

“I will follow your direction Gabriel, but if you attack me again I’ll be forced to retaliate.” Acid scorched smile appears followed by the rest of the green ninja.

Goro walks to the ring nodding as he passes Reptile on the way out. Reptile disappears before going through the van doors. Raiden walks cautiously through the doors and enters into the ring with Goro, the Prince of a dimension called Outworld.

Goro Vs. Raiden

The two fighters struggle back and forth with steady stream of quick attacks. Goro finds and opening and choke slams and chest crushes Raiden with his four arms causing great damage to the thunder god. Goro watches the blood rush from Raiden’s mouth and slams and crushes him again. Goro moves in for the kill when Raiden teleports behind Goro and spine punches the monster. Goro falls to his knees after the strike. Raiden climbs the turnbuckle and dives off at Goro, only to be met with a powerslam. Goro quickly moves over to grabbing Raiden’s arms and pummeling the god’s chest with his extra appendages. Raiden breaks free from the monsters grip and Springboards off the top rope. The well placed knee to the head staggers the beast. Raiden immediately attacks with the TOREPEDO SPEAR. Goro instinctive starts to rise only to be hit again with the TOREPEDO SPEAR.

In an almost startling surprise Ryu and Resolution walk to the ring together. Before the match begins they exchange nods.

Resolution vs. Ryu

Resolution and Ryu test each other for a few moves, until Resolution hit Ryu with the butt of her pistol in the face. After a flurry of steel to the face Ryu is bloodied by the gun handle. Ryu in true warrior fashion remains calm and find his opening for the DRAGON UPPERCUT. After another volley of control Resolution attempt to draw and fire on Ryu, however Ryu is dodges and is only close enough to get burned by the MUZZLE FLASH. Ryu rolls from the ring to take a breather and Resolution follows to continue the punishment. After punishing Ryu outside the ring Resolution hit Ryu with the END RESULT.

The Unwanted walks through the van doors with a tire iron in hand and rushes into the ring. Ken mockingly walks out second and picks up and stick to finish the imitation of the Unwanted.

The Unwanted vs. Ken Masters

The warriors fight rather evenly until the Unwanted the LABOTOMY DROP (brainbuster) to Masters. The Unwanted climbs the turnbuckle a delivers the RORSCHACH DROP on Ken Masters, knocking him unconscious. The Unwanted seemingly wanting to prove and point drags Ken from the ring and piledrives him through a car windshield. Masters does not leave the ring until Gabriel waves a hand sending him elsewhere.

Balrog walks to the ring throwing punches at an invisible opponent as Judgement looks on waiting to get started.

Judgement vs. Balrog

The two men strike and parry for a bit until Balrog loses his patience and tags Judgement in the groin. Balrog unloads a blazing salvo of fists onto Judgement, finishing with the CRUSHING COMBO. While Judgement recovers his composure Balrog hit for a low blow again. As Judgement as fallen to the ground, it would appear Judgement’s genitals have a target on them as Balrog strikes at them again. As Judgement makes it to his feet Balrog delivers a knockout shot to his temple.

After Lui Kang has entered the ring, a strange darkness starts to pour out from under the ring. Sounds of screaming seem to be pouring out from the unnatural darkness. A tendril of the darkness finds its way into the ring and slowly begins to take shape as the “man” known as Reaper.

Reaper vs. Lui Kang

The match starts off with a quick paced struggle with Kang doing a high risk leg drop from the top turnbuckle. Kang delivers more offense when Reaper reverses the tide of the match with a few power maneuvers and grabs Kang for what appears to be a chokeslam. However, instead of slamming him to the ground, Reaper holds him just above it. Rapidly the mauls of the 3 headed Cerberus rise up and attempt to complete the CALL TO CERBERUS. Kang sensing danger manages to struggle away from the beast. As Kang dodges away Reaper redirects Cerberus again against his Challenger. Luckily for Kang the CALL TO CERBERUS goes unanswered. Kang quickly BICYCLE KICKS Reaper breaking his concentration on summoning the beast. Kang follows up with a FIREBALL. Seeing the Reaper still standing Kang quickly BICYCLE KICKS him again. This time the move knocks the Reaper cold. Kang drops to his knees in victory.
