The action was great in this one. There were some really good matches that I bet were fun to roll out. Most of my picks were wrong, but thats how it goes.

[Dark Justice]

Gabriel looks down at the crowd now numbering over a hundred people and shakes his head. “Brothers, I think we have drawn an interesting amount of attention. Maybe we can use this to pressure the Messenger to remove himself from this contest.”

“You know Gabriel that will never happen. He is like a Hell hound once he feels he is right he won’t let go.” Michael comments off-handedly.

“Well then I guess we show him the error of his ways.” Lucifer smiles watching the man named Scorpion walk down to the ring. “This should be amusing. Does this Nitro character really think he belongs here? Perhaps he will be the first victim of the Scorpion.” Lucifer chuckles.

Nitro races to the ring and runs around it slapping hands with the spectators in the crowd. Gabriel shakes his head looking down at Nitro’s Charisma at work… “I hate that guy.”

Nitro looks over at Scorpion “Hey! Ready for a good fight buddy?” Nitro offers a hand to Scorpion.

“Burn in Hell.” Slowly seems to come out of the ninja rather than being spoken as his eyes burn of fire at Nitro.

“ok… not the friendly sort. I get that.” Nitro cracks his knuckles and readies for the fight.

Scorpion vs. The Green Nitro

The warriors square off in the ring. Nitro looking to take an advantage, attempts a leaping drop kick. Scorpion easily dodges the attack and counters with a left Jab. Nitro sidesteps the punch and fires at Scorpion with BAD VIBRATIONS. The blast hits scorpion in the chest and is enough to put Scorpion down. Nitro looks surprised as Scorpion does not answer the 10 count.

Nitro’s eyes get huge as the realization sets in that he just won his first match. Nitro, excitedly, slides out of the ring and dives into the crowd. Quickly he is congratulated by the crowd and handed a beer. After a moment of thought Nitro hands the beer back to the crowd member. “I gotta think of the image I put off to the kids” Nitro continues to sit at ringside watching with the crowd.

The Unwanted walks to the ring dragging a trash can behind him loaded with several weapons. The Boxing champion comes out even before The Unwanted get to the ropes.

The Unwanted vs. Balrog

Balrog strikes into the action quickly. Balrog fires body shots on the Unwanted. The Unwanted weathers the storm of punches and answers back with a spear to the midsection. In an attempt to get back in control, Balrog delivers a shot to The Unwanted’s groin. After another round of punches from Balrog, the Unwanted gains some breathing room by kicking is opponent in the balls. The Unwanted tried to find and opening to but was too worn to make much good of it. Balrog takes the weakness of his opponent and capitalizes with a CRUSHING COMBO. Balrog raises the Unwanted to his feet again and hit another CRUSHING COMBO. Balrog lifts The Unwanted to his feet a second time and fires off a KILLER RIGHT. The fist rockets off of the jaw of the Unwanted. The Unwanted head flies off his shoulders and comes to a stop at Balrog’s feet. Balrog kicks the head towards the guard rail near Nitro with a sneer at the superhero. Nitro’s face turns white then a strange shade of green. Balrog laughs and heads to the back.

The Messenger walks to the ring with his Acended title around his waist. The Messenger looks up to the skybox from the center of the ring. “Gabriel, Brother, I urge you not to make me do this. You know I’m not going to stop.”

“I’m sure your brothers don’t really have any desire to listen to your incessant whining. Shut up and get ready to lose your title Messenger.” Shang Tsung walks out from the conversion van. “You should be scared of someone other than your brother’s, perhaps you should be scared of me instead.” As Shang Tsung walks to the ring Blanka slowly makes his way out of the conversion van.

Messenger Vs Shang Tsung vs. Blanka

Shang Tsung steps into the ring and immediately strikes at The Messenger. The Messenger reverses and knocks Shang Tsung to the ground. When the angel turns around he is hit by Blanka’s ELECTRIC THUNDER. Shang hits Blanka with a drop toe hold. After a quick exchange Blanka hits Shang with ELECTRIC THUNDER. As Blanka gets to his feet he is hit by the Messenger’s LAST RITES. The beast stops stirring. The two remaining competitors begin to circle each other. The Messenger motions for the wizard to approach. Shang Tsung opts to launch a TRIPLE FIREBALL instead. The Messenger shrugs off the flames and delivers the LAST RIGHTS. The Messenger collects his title and raises it above his head. “Remember my warning you have till the end of the tournament. Then I will show you brothers how to make the right decisions.”

Kano walks to the ring passing by The Messenger. As the Messenger passes, Kano mocks fear the angel. Kano seemingly finds himself funny laughing his way into the ring. Kano waits in the ring for his opponents to enter. Genosyde walks to the ring amidst the whistles of the crowd. She waits outside the ring waiting for the third fighter to enter. Subzero enters the crowd quickly the chants for Glacier start. Subzero speeds up and enters the ring as Genosyde does from the opposite side.

Subzero vs. Kano. Vs. Genosyde

Subzero and Genosyde begin to fight and the two fight until Genosyde is knocked to the ground. Kano delivers a KANOBALL to Subzero’s back. As Kano gets back to his feet Genosyde is there with WILDFIRE. Genosyde stands and turns into Subzero’s FREEZING SHOULDER BLOCK. Quickly Subzero follows up with a kick to Genosyde’s head. After a few more strikes Subzero moves in for a FREEZING ARMBAR. The maneuver made the finish to the match as Genosyde is unable to continue.

Sagat walks to the ring seemingly confident that the match will go his way. He even has a touch of a smile on his lips. As Sagat enters into the ring, that all changes, and the smile fades. Reptile appears before him in the ring out of nowhere. The sky darkens and the clouds start to roll in quicker than seemingly natural. The Lightning starts to shoot down from the sky and hits the turnbuckles of the ring as Justice comes down to the match.

Dark Justice vs. Reptile vs. Sagat

A seemingly enraged Dark Justice comes in strong. After a few powerful moves Dark Justice hits Sagat with THE EXECUTIONERS SONG. Sagat is knocked cold from the blow. Justice exchanges shots with the Reptile for a few moments and delivers the jury slam. As Reptile get to his feet Dark justice delivers the EXECUTIONERS SONG. The green ninja is put down by the move. Justice just stands and stares over near where the Green Nitro is still sitting. Justice walks from the ring and grabs the head of The Unwanted and carried it back to the locker room.

In strange fashion the next 3 competitors walk down to the ring together. After a quick exchange of handshakes the match starts.

Lui Kang vs. Raiden vs. Resolution

Kang and Raiden begin a blinding exchange and culminating with Kang delivering a BICYCLE KICK. Resolution attempts a shot at Point blank range on Kang, but to her dismay he is only caught by the MUZZLE FLASH. After a Teleport kick from Raiden, Resolution falls to the ground. Kang leaps to his feet and BICYCLE KICKS the God. As Kang lands on the ground he is met with a standing side kick from Resolution. After a heated exchange Kang knees Resolution in the nose sending her to the ground. Raiden attacks Kang with a TOREPEDO SPEAR. Raiden gets to his feet and is the victim of a MUZZLE FLASH. The two warriors exchange rapid fire attacks at each other until Raiden attacks with the TOREPEDO SPEAR. Raiden stands above the Resolution and looks up at the skybox. “You archangels are playing a very dangerous game with things even you three don’t understand. I, for one, refuse to be your pawn. As the Messenger has warned, this will come to an end soon. Which side really has all the cards?”

Man my picks were crap.

Nitro gets a big win over Scorpion and Balrog kills The Unwanted!

Raiden seems to have joined Messenger's cause. Will be interesting to watch this develop.

Picks for next card :
Messenger to retain. This is going to be a harder challenge, but I've learned to not bet against him.

[Dark Justice]

Gabriel, Michael, and Lucifer walk to the Skybox as the Fans Begin to enter the junkyard. This time only are there fans but also cameras crews. “THIS IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE A SPECTATOR SPORT GABRIEL!” Michael says harshly to his brother.

“Michael, calm yourself. As much as I don’t like it either we have been placed into an unusual position. Father’s human free will declaration binds our hands.” Lucifer comments.

“Perhaps fear is what they need.” Gabriel chimes in as he disappears.
Gabriel appears in the ring and looks at the crowd. “You vultures! Have you nothing better to do then interrupt in the business of the Heavens?”
From the crowd soda cans fly into the ring at the Archangel. “We want glacier!” is heard over the boos of the crowd. One of the spectators tosses an Icee into the ring hitting Gabriel in the face. “Enough!” Gabriel exclaims as he disappears back into the skybox. “Let them watch. They will soon deal with the consequences of their presence.”

Gabriel nods and the van doors swing open allowing Dhalsim to enter the Arena. As the pacifist enters the arena to participate in this combat the fans are merciless. Screaming for blood, not caring whose blood it is. Honda walks to the ring stepping over the liter that covers the walkway.

Dhalsim vs. E Honda

The men exchange heavy blows back and forth until Dhalsim finds his opening to hit the DRILLING DROPKICK. After a few more quick strikes, Dhalsim hip tosses the sumo hard to the mat for the victory.

Sagat walks to the ring confident in his abilities, grabbing a beer from one of the crowd’s hands. As Sonya walks to the ring Sagat very blatantly eyes the blonde bombshell as she comes into the ring.

Sagat vs. Sonya Blaze

Sagat starts in full control until he whips the Female special forces agent off the ropes. She quickly reverses it and sends Sagat from the ring. Sonya starts mounting a comeback with an AIR DROPKICK. Sonya continues with control tossing Sagat from the ring. Wasting no time she keeps on the attack dropping a brutal knee on Sagat’s temple, knocking the Thai man out.

Reptile appears in the ring as Sagat turns and stands after his victory. Reptile’s masked face can be seen showing signs of a smirk as Sagat is startled by his sudden appearance.

Ricochet vs. Reptile

Ricochet rushes to the ring to attempt the opening shot however Reptile beats him to the start. Reptile starts the match with a back heel strike to distract Rico. While Rico recovers from the strike Reptile disappears from sight. Rico looks for his opponent only to get Reptile to Powerslide into him. Reptile quickly SNAKE BITES Rico dropping him to the ground.
Scorpion comes to the ring and the chants from the crowd and the person asking if he is “Glacier’s” brother.

Scorpion vs. Zangief

Immediately on Zangief entering the ring the Russian strikes at yellow ninja with everything he’s got. Scorpion breaks the assault with a fire breath fireball. Scorpion keeps with the high impact offensive. Finally Scorpion finishes off Zangief with a Jumping Body slam.

The Green Nitro walks to the ring amidst the cheers of the crowd. Hand slaps and celebration continues until Johnny Cage comes to the ring.

“Hi Johnny, you know you’re the second celebrity I’ve met this month.” Nitro says as Cage gets in the ring.

“Well, I’ll bite. Who else?”

“Ryan Reynolds.” Nitro says with a scowl.

“Ya, I met the guy a few months back. He stuck me with a bill at The Underground.” Cage shakes hands with Nitro.

“DAMN YOU RYAN REYNOLDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Nitro yells then shakes his head. “I think you would have been better in the Green Lantern documentary.”

“Me too kid.” Cage smirks

Nitro G vs. Johnny Cage

Cage opens the fight strong starting with two GREEN SHADOW KICKs in the first few seconds of the fight. Cage quickly moves in and strikes with a DEADLY UPPERCUT leaving Nitro on the ground Unconscious.
“It was a pleasure beating you, I mean, meeting you.” Cage says with a chuckle.

Gabriel appears in the ring as the Messenger comes to the ring. “Brother I have decided in this match your title is safe. Good luck.” Gabriel disappears up to his skybox.

Final Fight for the Destroyer Title.
Messenger, Dark Justice, Raiden, subzero, Balrog
The contenders all come to the ring with all the fanfare expected. Messenger stands up on the top turnbuckle and holds the Ascended title high in the air. Messenger hops off the ropes and turns to stand face to face with Dark Justice. Raiden watches the two men in the faceoff only to get caught off guard by Subzero. The ninja gets the upper hand and FREEZES AND ARMBAR’s the thunder god. As Subzero gets to his feet The Messenger greets him with LAST RITES, destroying the Ninja’s chances to winning the title. Balrog blasts the angel in the throat with a left hook to the throat. The Messenger quickly starts to defend the boxer’s attacks. An error in thinking quickly puts Balrog in a bad way as he receives the LAST RITES. Dark Justice sees Balrog’s fate and capitalizes with an offensive of his own. The Monster levels The Messenger repeatedly with devastating bombs. The Messenger fights back to no avail as the EXECUTIONERS SONG ends his chance of carrying both gold titles. Raiden, seeing only him and the monster left, mounts an aggressive offense. The two combatants fight, Raiden keeping Justice on the defensive. Lightning is thrown by both men as a weapon via for a victory. Justice finds an opening and delivers the EXECUTIONER’S SONG. Raiden still finds his way to his feet. Justice strikes with a salvo of punches and finds the EXECUTIONER’S SONG. The thunder god lies on the canvas as Justice recovers his new title. Justice holds the Destroyer title in the air and stares down at the prone body of Raiden.

Elsewhere in the Realm, a man sits head shaved, staring down after his most recent beating by the gaurds that imprision him. In his sight he sees his blood soaked pants, through the fog that covers the ground in this place. The gaurdsmen return as his mind begins to wander. This time the gaurd brings in another prisoner to the cell. The new prisoner is a dark skinned human. They toss him in mercilessly. The new prisoner gets to his feet and surveys his new room mate. Seeing the bald man sitting there with his hands shackled to the bench as well as to his feet and long feathery wings, the new prisoner is a bit shaken. "Um.. Hi i'm Max.... ah... who are you?"

The shackled prisoner looks at him. "I have many names, and none. Our captures call me Adam, mortals, like yourself, have called me Death."

"So um... What you in for.. um.. Death?" max's voice crackles fearing the answer.

"Siding on the unpopular side of a conflict in the heavens." Death pauses and looks at max quizically. "You?"

"Um..." Max shifts uncomforatbly, realizing his cellmate might be a bit on the dangerous side.. "i married a demon..."

"I see, Max if you would excuse me" Adam's eyes cloud over for a few minutes then the unthinkable happens and Adam smiles "yes... i'll be waiting" as if talking to someone in the room.

Gabriel looks to his brothers. "These humans are getting to be trouble."

Michael looks at Gabriel and then Lucifer, "If he would just release his claim we wouldn't have to deal with them."

Lucifer scoffs.

Balrog vs. Bison

Bison enters the ring and quickly pummels Balrog with heavy offense leaving the boxer broken on the ground in short order. With no wasted time Bison rolls from the ring and grabs the microphone.

“This is a laughable, I’m the most dominate fighter in the competition. Where is my title? Hiding on the waist of an angel without a god, or a monster without a brain in his head? I’ll have my title shot, or I’ll just take it myself.” The crowd that has arrived tonight cheers at the words of M. Bison.

Kano walks out to the ring he makes various sexually charged comments about Genosyde. As Genosyde enters the ring Kano declares “after I win this match I think you and I are gonna have a date.” Kano follows it with a suggestive visual with his tongue. Genosyde chuckles at him unamused.

Kano vs. Genosyde

Kano starts off the match with a slap to her face. A flash of rage covers Genosyde’s face. Genosyde quickly hits a super kick and Wildfire(canadian Destroyer) three times in a row leaving Kano broken in the ring.

Reaper appeared in the ring amidst a burst of fire, waiting for Judgement to enter the ring. Judgement walks out and stares a hole through Reaper. In an almost eerie showing the Reaper smiles.

Reaper vs. Judgement

Judgement comes to the ring and in greeted in short order with the CALL OF CERBERUS. As the Call fails to finish Judgement, the Reaper follows up with the DEATH COMES (Superkick). After a short play at offensive by Judgement, Reaper sneaks in the CALL OF CERBERUS again. After dodging the ghostly demon dog Judgement nails the pentitent driver twice. Quickly Reaper finds his way to his feet, with a few quick strikes, setting up and finishing Judgement off with Crucifix Bomb.

Ricochet vs. The Green Nitro

The two fighters enter the ring and shake hands. The Green Nitro looks back at Ricochet “Don’t worry I won’t kill you. Good guys don’t kill.”

“Pal, I know your trying to do the right thing, But there are shades of grey. If you not willing to do what it takes in this War, because that’s what this is, you’ll be the one dead.” Ricochet warns.

Ricochet opens the match with an armdrag and follows up with a running clothesline. The two wage a war back and forth until Rico tosses Nitro over the ropes to the floor. Rico dives over the top rope and pistol whips nitro’s head as he hits the ground. Nitro moves into the ring after recovering and quickly dodges Ricochet’s attacks. Seeing his moment Nitro delivers the Electric Magnetic Moonsault. The moves hits and Nitro tries for more offense only to get shut down. Ricochet sees a chance for serious advantage. He tries for a Flying cross body and lands on the mat face first. Nitro dives off the top rope and Ricochet moves out of the way. The match ends up out of the ring and Ricochet cracks Nitro in the face with his pistol. Ricochet tosses Nitro back in the ring and then hits SNAKE EYES. Keeping the offense fast paced Nitro continues to strike then delivers the SNAKE EYES to close the match.

Scorpion walks to the ring and awaits his opponent. Angrily, Subzero approaches the ring as the crowd Chants “glacier” over and over. Shaking his head as he get in the ring Subzero is attacked immediately.

Scorpion vs. Subzero

Scorpion starts the match in control. The men trade shots for a few moments using the ropes until Scorpion uses his SPEAR AND STAB to finish the fight. As Subzero leaves the ring he freezes one on the audience members he hears refer to him as Glacier.

Shang Tsung and Goro approach the ring with more glad-handing by Tsung. Then, amist an lightning display, Dark Justice walks to the ring with the Unwanted decaying head in his arms and the Destroyer title on his shoulder, when Justice gets half way to the ring the Messenger walks to the ring looking at the Monster. The partners decide on who starts the match Goro and Justice get the honors.

Dark Justice and the Messenger vs. Shang Tsung and Goro

Dark Justice and Goro start the match. Goro moves in for an arm grab and chest punch combo. After a heavy barrage of offense from Goro, Dark Justice tags in The Messenger. Goro dodges The Messenger’s first offering and grabs him for a BEARHUG. Justice leaves the ringside area grabbing his title and the severed head. The Messenger gets tossed from the ring violently and Goro chases him out. He tosses Messenger against the turnbuckle again and then back into the ring. Goro then BEARHUGS him again, only letting him breathe again then re- BEARHUGS him. Goro BEARHUGs the Messenger until he passes out. Shang Tsung laughs as the Messenger fades watching Dark Justice walk away with his title on his shoulder.
