 Here is something I've been working on. A color version of the Sinister One himself, Saboteur. It could stand a little cleaning up, but I'm satisfied for now. I wanted to give him a mostly monochromatic and mild color scheme as a representation of not just his appearance, but also his essence. I feel Saboteur is very cold, dead inside, and so I wanted to color him in a way that conveyed this. Every color in the picture has blue in it, even the reddish straps. I wanted him to outwardly appear as if he were truly dead, as a reflection of his personality. Hopefully I have accomplished this. Either way, feel free to comment!  |

Hyde, I love your reasoning on the color (cold, calculating)..thus the reason for your colors
What program did you do it in? If you did it in Photoshop, you should use the burn tool, etc to give him some shadows in there.

Yep, it was done in photoshop. I also want to go at some shine on the buckles and whatever that thing he is holding is. Maybe I'll experiment with some lighting for his eyes, too. Maybe make him a little Raiden-esque from Mortal Kombat. I'm glad you like it, even in it's prelim condition! |
